Wow. (tries to envision a blue plastic wardrobe) Heh heh heh.
I'm wondering: am I the only one I know of who has a certain soft spot for Voyage of the Dawn Treader?

AMEN!!
I especially love the part where they come up to the end of their voyage, and the book describes all the creatures in the sea, and the white flowers...
(cries)
(because she's a sucker for that sort of thing)

At the LOTR convention, I met Richard Taylor, and he said Narnia's really good...

Heh. Yes... I personally love Prince Caspian, VotDT, and the Horse and His Boy. I also loved The Silver Chair, which is probably my personal favorite... it was the underground scenes that clinched it, and the snake-lady... (grins) I love that sort of thing. It was just so creepy-like.
I didn't like the LtWatW much, actually, but I can't wait for the movie...
Mmm... I need to reread those books someday.

Ooh, yes... The Horse and His Boy, I think, would rank as my second favourite. A very close second. Heh. And I'm not sure which falls as third: The Magician's Nephew, or The Last Battle...

(hates the Magician's Nephew) So badly done, IMO... I tolerate it, but it's not very well done. It's not that I don't like it, there's books I dislike even moreso, but... the only thing I liked about it was Charn. Or whatever that world was. Ch something, I think. The dead world. I drew a lot of inspiration from it for the SR...
I liked the Last Battle a lot too...
I think my favs fall like so.
The Silver Chair Horse and His Boy (yay for talking horses!) Prince Caspian VotDT The Last Battle TLtWatW The Magician's Nephew
Though Voyage and Caspian are very closely tied. I need to reread, yes... but there was just this element to Prince Caspian that I really loved. It was the time displacement, I think... and the whole thrones being taken over... I like Peter a lot. Heh. There was a political aspect to that one the others didn't have.

Heh.... faux... foo poo.... <dies> Sorry, mispronunciations at three in the morning...
Ah, dzang. I must find a constume... I suppose I could just wear a massive fur coat... if I had a massive fur coat... or... my pajamas.... or something.
My favorite book was the Horse and His Boy. Because it was pretty much random in the whole series. The Last Battle is good, as well. Cool images in that one.

My favorites, although it's hard to value one above the others!
The Silver Chair (ooh... this one is so dark and creepy! and i like Jill, because she's rotten...) The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (WHOO DUFFLEPUDS!!! They should have their own thread, IMHO...) The Horse and His Boy (I LOVE this one... but Shasta occassionally gets on my nerves, and it's a bit slow in the middle) The Magician's Nephew (random, but Charn ROX) The Last Battle (Never really got into this one so much... Shift was sort of awful) Prince Caspian
Having said that, I am a Narnia FANATIC, and love all the books! LESS THAN ONE MONTH TO GO!!!!!
