HAPPY NEW YEAR! MEI's existed since March '04. A long run for us. May we have many more besides. I think we'll need more members for that. Too many of us are growing up now. XD Welcome to '07.

I'll never grow up!!1
Not 'til I get eaten by college, anyway. So that means I've got... about a half of a year.....
*crickets*
I'm doomed, aren't I?

Naw. Keep your hopes up! All we're forced to do is grow older, and do things like post-secondary education and work and saving the planet, but that doesn't mean we must be constantly afflicted with maturity! Only sometimes, when necessary, to keep them fooled.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Ah, college... I shall never mature, even during college. For, you see, I am going into a career of comics-making, which requires that you retain your immaturity to a degree. And there are, like, two computer labs on each of the five floors of the building, plus an internet café on the bottom floor of the dorm building, so I shall not be internet deprived at college.

I'm taking Pete with me when I go. Thusly will I have internet forever. Until I'm lost in the middle of nowhere without wireless, that is. That'll be a sad day...
ESSAYS ARE EVIL!! Curse them.

Ah, essays. I have never had to write one. And may never get the opportunity, either. Going to art school has many benefits.

Heh. Apparently so. I haven't stopped writing essays since the beginning of this year...
But, on the up side, Lit school does have the definite plus of studying for a semester in Rome. I'll write a million essays, if it gets me to Rome...

You get to go to Rome?!
Meh... that's ok. If I wanted to, I could transfer to the campus in France for a year or two...

Spring of my Sophomore year. And it's required, so technically I don't have a choice. *grins*
That is, if I'm accepted. They keep sending me scholarship stuff, but I haven't seen anything concrete, as of yet. *crosses fingers* We'll see.

Rome! Ooooh. The farthest I'm going for school is Chicago this spring. And this may sound weird, but I miss essays. Quite a bit.

You're going to Chicago?! My aunt lives in that area.... Beautiful city. Only been there once, though.
I'm moving to Atlanta. Yes, moving. I will be living on campus. Big step for me!

Hah. I'm going from Montana to New Hampshire. Talk about a leap...
I like knowing how to write a good essay... that's new this year... and the satisfaction that comes when you know you nailed a really good prompt. Ah... AP English geekdom....
I love Chicago. Especially at night... all the water, and the lights... I could happily live there, meself. Even the ugly parts of Chicago are pretty...

AP English geek LOVE. I'm still proud of my exam results there. I miss it so much.
I'm very much looking forward to seeing Chicago's architecture and galleries. Eeeeeeee... And the college brought down the rate of the trip to somewhere around $500 CAD for gallery passes, hotel stays, bussing, and some food, which is really amazingly cheap when you think about it, considering.
People moving all over the place. Blimey. Today, my restlessness decided that I want to go to China. Tomorrow, who knows?

I have gone to Manitoba... uh... once.
Yeah, I'm not restless at all. I don't travel at all. My restlessness only wants me to get a job and do some proper school stuff, with actual, like, tests and grades and stuff. Not like homeschool doesn't count, but, y'know. Ugh. Everyone else gets to rave on that they're going to this collage or whatever or studying to do this. >< Right.
I need to be the first on MEI to get married.
Next step - get boyfriend. Hmmm. Where's Darth Aragorn...
Lol.
I'll be honest. I actually want to go to med school. That may seem to be the most absurd thing ever for people who know me, but I have always had a freaky interest in medicine. So I'm stubbornly working on biology this year to see if I can take memorizing all those body parts and stuff. It's a dream I doubt I'll fulfill, though... I think I have a lot better chance to get published.

I sort've miss Biology. Don't miss the teacher, though. Ugh. It's a wonder I passed that AP test with a 3.... pbbbtth. But, when someone teaches it with inflection, it's a wonderfully interesting subject... 'specially anatomy. Fascinating.....
