Oh, anything that's not out in America, I think, should be considered a spoiler. XD

Well, it rounds off the first series and sets up the Christmas special.... is that spoilerish?

Um.... Christmas special. Yeah, I think that's out here. Not spoilerish at all.

Yes, but... it doesn't spoil anything in it, it just shows what happened just before, and how they got to where it takes place, and why the Doctor is - the way he is.

Yeppers, I think I have seen it. If you wanted to post that thing now, I think it'd be okay. XD At least for me anyway.

Righto. I'll summarize it as best I can, but I may get quotations wrong...
Basically, it starts off where 'The Parting of the Ways' left off - the Doctor's just regenerated and, after noting his new teeth, says "Now where was I - oh yeah, that's right! Barcelona!"
He turns round and starts fiddling with the TARDIS. Once Barcelona's set, he starts checking himself out: "Hair! I'm not bald! Ooh, big hair... Sideburns, I've got SIDEBURNS!" and "I've got... a mole. Between my shoulder blades, I can feel it... and it's all right! Love the mole," being my two favourite things. Meanwhile, Rose just stares.
Finally, the Doctor stops and turns to her with a big grin and says, "Go on, tell me - what do you think?"
Rose asks "Who are you?"
Grin fading slightly, he says "I'm the Doctor."
Rose doesn't believe him, thinking that he has teleported out the old Doctor, and saying "You're not fooling me-" (she gives him a little shove here) "-I've seen all sorts of things - Daleks... Gelth... Slitheen.... Oh god, are you Slitheen?"
To which the Doctor replies, fervently, "I'm NOT a Slitheen."
Rose is starting to get upset, and says "Send him back - send the Doctor back RIGHT NOW-"
The Doctor's starting to get a little worried now. "Rose - I swear, it's me." He looks like he really wants her to believe him.
He finally convinces her by saying "When we first met, in that cellar in Henrik's - oh, such a long time ago... we were surrounded by shop window dummies, and I took your hand, and said one word... 'Run.'"
Rose is convinced. Not only does he know this, but he's standing right in front of her by now, and only the Doctor has quite that intensity. She says slowly, "Doctor..."
The Doctor's clearly thrilled, and grins mightily. "Hello."
He then strides happily around the TARDIS console, fiddling with things, saying all the while, "And we never stopped, did we? Everywhere running, running - except for that one time we had to hop! Remember? Hopping? We had to hop? Hopping for our lives?" He is actually hopping by now. "No?"
Rose asks if he can change back. That takes the happy wind out of the Doctor's hyper sails. He says, "Do you want me to?"
"Yes."
"Oh."
"Can you?"
"No."
Rose is clearly disappointed. The Doctor gets the wrong idea, and asks if she wants to leave. And when Rose doesn't answer straight away, hesitating - herself thinking that he doesn't want her there any more - the Doctor works at the TARDIS again, without quite the same enthusiasm as before, saying "Right, cancel Barcelona - the Powell Estate, London, December 24th... consider it a Christmas present."
The Doctor stands back from the console, arms folded, in the exact same pose used by Ecclescake in various episodes[/geeksquee]. It is now awkward. The Doctor, of course, tries to ignore it by babbling on about "Go home and eat chips - wait, no, Christmas, turkey! Although... judging by your mother... nut loaf might be more appropriate..." Rose smiles, in spite of yourself. "Was that a smile?" asks the Doctor, getting one of his own. "No," she says. "That was a smile," teases the Doctor. For a moment, it seems like everything's going to be all right, Rose finally convinced it's the same Doctor with casual insults of her mother...
But then!! The Doctor suddenly convulses, in great pain, and lots of gold CGI energy comes out of his mouth. Rose panics, asking whether they should go back to get Captain Jack, whether he can help, but the Doctor, suddenly possessed by a manic energy, says "Naah, he's too busy rebuilding the earth!" He starts moving around the console again, SUPER hyped up, pressing all the shiny buttons, saying "Let's get a little speed! Go, my beautiful ship!!" Then he's wracked by pain again, and appears to regain his mind - he tells Rose "The regeneration's going wrong... my head..." clearly in a lot of pain... then BACK TO THE ENERGY! Striding around like a man possessed, pulling levers, the TARDIS zooooming through the Time Vortex...
Suddenly a bell starts ringing - the Cloister Bell, only heard in the TARDIS in emergencies, a sign for the Time Lords to man the controls [/oldschoolwhonut]. Rose, seriously freaked by now, says "What's happening??" The Doctor replies, ecstatic, "We're going to crash land!! Christmas Eve!!"
And on his insane face... credits.
Trust me. Seeing this, several months after 'The Parting of the Ways' and still several months before the Christmas episode, was a special kind of glorious torture.

L.O.L. Seriously, that was funny to read. I'm pretty sure it wasn't the same as the episode, but I can see it in my mind and yeah, that's why it's funny.
XD
More, is there any more?

No, that's all we got... it's seven minutes long. I tried to summarize it sensibly but, um, got a little carried away.... It used to be on youtube, but got taken down for some reason. Hopefully, it'll be on the series 2 DVD boxset.
Next up was the Christmas special - which I can only assume you'll see at Christmas - where the TARDIS does indeed crashland in the Powell estate on Christmas Eve.

XD That would be mighty. Meh, why wait for Christmas when I can buy it on DVD? Anyway, yeah, I can't wait. I'm really, really excited to see the new season. Hopefully they don't take it off air here in America, that would stink. (The station it comes on has been known to do that.)

If not, I can try to summarize each episode in the same way...

Yeah, that would be neat. I won't know if they've taken it off until later on in the summer, so, keep your fingers ready.

*wiggles fingers*
Well, on my message board a friend of mine and I have been taking it in turns to parody each Doctor Who episode as it's aired. She's done the Christmas special, and I've done a few from series 2. If you can't wait, just head on over there and, er, get a different view of it...

Anyway, if you already have it typed up, for sho' I'll read it.

The Christmas Invasion one is on the 'Parodies' board, and the others are in 'Katie's Stories and other Randomness'.
But you may not get a clear view of the episode, just... well, it's a bit random.

I don't doubt you've put in your own voices into the story. Everyone does when they retell something.
Anyway, it'd be neat if you know any sites that have like scripts or something. XD

No, sorry... but I can type out summaries instead of just making fun of them in script format, if you wish.

That would be spiffy too. I just want to get a general idea of what happens, just in case they decide not to show it here in America this next year. And I love the humor and everything but... yeah. Not with my Who.
