Well, I can see that some of u are great artists when it comes to making sigs and I'm thinking I would like to learn. Any of u think u can attempt to teach me?
I know I probably need a certain program to do it, but I would really like to learn, and I would also like to learn how u can put different pictures together and make some transparent and make them all look reall cool! lol
Thanks, Silver

One can't really make a decent siggy unless one has a decent program...I've played around with Arcsoft Photostudio a bit, but Photoshop would probably be the best for that. Unfortunately...many of our budgets aren't that big...heh. But if you do have a photo editing program of some sort, there should be some sort of free tutorial/walkthrough that you can find online. Any other online method of teaching would be...a little impractical. And don't worry if your first few projects don't look wonderful. It takes practice to get good results, just like almost anything else.

*snorts* Some of us? I'm really the only graphic-savvy person-- only because my Master up there doesn't have time/programs-- she has the same as me, I admit... but she hasn't learned the tricks to using a photo touch-up program to make graphics. It's tricky, I admit.
The first step to being as good as any of us is to get a program better than Paint. Then search the 'net for tutorials, and experiment. I couldn't teach anyone how to do anymore than lightsabers, and a bit of other editting-- becaue everyone has their own style.
Learning isn't that hard, if you're willing to spend time and money to get a decent program, and learn how to use it. If you have enough cash, I suggest going with the whole Jasc set-- their animation program does transparentsiys, and since I have it, I can explain it all right-- and there's a lot of tuts on it too-- and their photo program is supposadly pretty decent. I use ArcSoft, a nearly unknown one-- and Adobe isn't that bad 'a program.

My pa got a new laptop, with one of those trial thingies for Arcsoft.... Unfortunately, I found it on the 14th day. I had 15.....
I put letters on a picture that weren't fuzzy... *sniffle* MGI Photosuite should die for the worthlessness it is. *coughglorifiedpaintcough*

You weren't a member at the time of that post, if you'll take one little look. *smiles sweetly* And you never should say things like that to an admin.
(ask your sister the consequinces... she should know. *coughOTHERADMINcough*)
And if I had animation stuff, I COULD do it too. But I just have basic programing.

You should probably start with Arcsoft. Their stuff is pretty easy to use, and you can make some cool effects, although limited.

I learned to... erm... cheat with arcsoft a lot. So... it's handy.
I would like a better one, but I can do nearly everything you people with better programs can. So there. Hah!

I just found out I've had Adobe PhotoDeluxe this whole time! I think It's a good program, but I need someone to verify this information. Need something to look at for proof? I did this picture completely with PhotoDeluxe. Please let me know, based on this picture, what quality my program is, if you can...
