Ashley left Kinzie and decided to go and find her older sister Warious.. She went into the hallway of the mall and started yelling "Warious where are you?!" Ashley hoped that maybe Warious would come out of one of the places.. All she got was people giving blank stares.. "I am looking for my sister can't I do that?" Ashley was getting upset because she felt alone and couldn't find her sister.. Ashley went and sat on a bench and thought of a way to find Warious that would be easier than her yelling and by chance loosing her voice in the end..

Joan died a little inside. Small talk?! Drain....bread......cannot deal!!! And how the cookie do we have Canadian money?!
"Uh...wha? Oh...well, I love riding horses..." She smiled weakly. blahblahblah...she's gonna hate you! Loser...

Cooper jumped to the rescue. Small talk she could do! "Well, we're both fanatical readers of course," she said, enunciating clearly like they taught in debate. Communication was key in situations like these. "Me especially, I think... I tend to read the most. Joan reads too, but kinda weird stuff, you know? I am the one really into fantasy. And she rides horses. We're part of a debate club, which is sort of a hobby, I guess... and I take drama." She paused, and shrugged. "Other than that, we just do, you know, typical stuff... music, internet... what about you and Skye?"

Lauren got two pretzels and headed back just in time to catch Cooper's last comment. "I read alot, watch anime, read manga, do forums, draw, and school. Not at the same time." She giggled. Sithspit, that sounded dumb.

Cooper struggled desperately to keep the conversation alive, all the while wondering if she should. Is it better to just let things die? Am I being too loud? Does Joan want to talk? I am too random, or not random enough? CALM DOWN, SELF!
"Joan likes to draw, a LOT," she said, finally settling for telling her "newfound" friends about her sister. "She does manga. I read it a little, but I'm not a very skilled drawer."
This is where her mind took a fatal turn.
Skills made her think of Napoleon Dynamite, which made her think of her friend Betsy who joined a blogring entitled "no, i won't vote for pedro", which made her think of that shirt like Betsy's she'd wanted Joan to buy, which reminded her of the shirt she was "wearing" when she posted the doll on the "That looks like ME!" thread, which brought her back around to MEI. So it was all good.
But such was the way her mind worked. That had taken about 2.5 seconds, so nothing was lost, but sometimes... Let us say that a wandering mind is not good for things like Trigonometry and dusting your grandmother's two hundred-year-old spinning wheel.
"Have you ever read any Kare Kano?" she continued, picking up neatly where she'd left off, and desperately hoping she had pronounced that correctly.

Eisley smiled and shrugged. It was odd meeting your Padawan whom you had known for over a year for the first time. She impulsively reached out and gave her a quick little hug around the neck. "Sorry I normally don't do that." She looked around at all the other ME:I ers in wonder. "What are we all doing here?? Is this some sick plot of Eowyn and Jandalfs that we've been pulled into?" Her face contorted as a thought came to her. What if they were all just characters in an rp . . . She'd thought of it before but never had it seemed so plausible.

Dan got up from the bench. I've been waiting long enough! What happened to Renée?! Well, at least I know where to look...
Dan was 5'11", with dark brown hair and eyes. He had a slender build, and always wore cargo-type pants and loose t-shirts.
He shut off his DS and started out for the book store...

"No, I've seen it in the bookstore though. I like reading Rave Master, though right now, the book after the next book is out, but I can't find the next book anywhere! And since I usually just read manga in the store, that's a problem." Lauren wondered if Cooper actually understood what she had just said. Sometimes Lauren's speech could be quite confusing, or at least that's the way it sounded to her.

Mac stiffened up at the other girl's hug, but managed to pat her on the back and give a convincing smile. She looked at the gaggle now forming, the questions flying quickly, answers ricocheting...just like reality. Normal people, ready to exclude the short one who tended to be "magically" invisible...she dare not let that worm of unconfidence get inside her thoughts too deep. "It's a conspiracy." She said, rather mumbly. Then, was not able to contain her second set of emotions. A little jump accompanied them. "But it is so wepic to meet you, guys! Gasp. Eisley....crowd's all in Canada." Something about manga? Might there be fellow artists? Mac partly turned her attention and her head to Cooper...who she was not sure was who online.

Cooper had no idea what Lauren had just said, but she didn't let on. She nodded and smiled, and changed the subject. "Let's pretend," she began, but seeing the look of panic cross Joan's face, subsided. Cooper slowly munched her pretzel, one salt grain at a time.
It was then that she noticed a short, uncomfortable-looking girl in a black trench coat eyeing her from behind the potted palm tree. Cooper looked steadily back at her, finding herself drawn into the pretty eyes. "Hey, you," she said softly, smiling. "Do you want some pretzel?"

Mac tipped her head a little, not liking entirely the pitying way she was being looked at, but figuring that acting like a bird wouldn't help it. And there was a rather large and pleasant tree here she had added to her rostrum of physical planning but not really noticed. So she stood straighter and said "Sure," holding her hand out for some pretzel. "So, who're you on M.E.I.?" Of course this had to be an ally.

Cailyn smiled slightly at her sister. "Rave Master is sooooooooo awesome!!!" she said. "There's this guy who's really kinda dumb, well at least I think he's dumb, his name's Haru Glory. He has to save the world or whatever, and the writer makes up all this random stuff!!! It's like the ME:I book.. drama, random insanity, weird little clubs, semi-automatics, and a quest to save the world!!! or... dominate it. heh. I think I'm more of a grey sider, not really into the whole oppression bit, myself." Cailyn was already making plans for a huge Rave master Rp... but seeing as nobody on ME:I has read it, not too hot of an idea.

Well, here I go again. Sitting in a corner, being all shadow-like. Meh. Mustn't do the depressed thing. Been doing that too much lately, and I'm pretty much tired of it. Though I suppose that's what happens when you're always the third wheel. Or the ninth wheel....
"I could really use my CD player right now, and some Kutless...."

((*thinly* If you want Sea of Faces, I have it. I mean, I do, but so does my character. I can tell you without thinking about it exactly what my inventory would be if I was going to Edmonton.))
If you've ever been in an RPG and then missed out two pages of dialogue, you'd know how Tiff felt at the moment. She felt as if everything had been fast forwarded around her, running past too fast to keep up to. This was a normal feeling when in an overwhemling situation, although admitably normally she could keep onto one conversation. The issue being, of course, that she WAS in an RPG, though unaware of this, and her narrator was very tied up in Nanowrimo.
She hauled herself upright, looking for someplace to catch air, and recover the rest of her lungs, and then hopefully calm herself down before her emotional "everyone hates me!" thing kicked in and left her being nothing more than a mope.
Oh, what's the use, she thought glumly. I've already ruined MEI's mental image of their admin as being someone who could actually stand on her own two feet, it's not like anyone would really care if I vanished. Well. Renée might, but she's sort of my best friend, bar Adrienne, who's blast it not here when I need her!

Cooper grinned. "Cy?" she guessed, surveying the girl's formidable black trenchcoat. She broke off a piece of pretzel and handed it to her. "I'm Mekka, online. You know me right?" Cooper had become a little worried after her run-in with Alistair. I mean, people know who I am, don't they? I've been on MEI for such a loooong time...
She frowned, and tried to shake the thought off. Now was not the time to start feeling vulnerable and insecure! Cooper scooted a little to her right, to, um... make room for Cy on the floor. "Hey," she said again. "This is weird, eh? It doesn't fit inside my brain..."
Cooper didn't bother making any more introductions. It would all work itself out in time.

Mac laughed a little at the nice phraseology of "doesn't fit inside my brain" and sat beside Mekka. "Aye." In responce to her identification. "I know you a bit." She scoured the girl's face for some MEIness, something she could recognize, but found naught. People just looked like people...underneath they could be anything...lesson for the day. She caught Eisley's eye not wanting to leave her out, and took a bite of the fat pretzel. "This is Eisley." She indicated the other girl. "So..." there was nothing else to say. Checked back in on Tiana, and she was more alert than before. There's gotta be something to say to these people..."So Mekka did you get my last PM?"

This is all rather confusing. It's like Chemistry class. Except chemistry has some sort of order to it. This is just a whole bunch of people who don't know each other trying to identify why they hang out on a site with a bunch of weird people like us. Shaking her head, she muttered to herself, "Man, I didn't even understand that, and it was in my head."
She stood up and cracked her ankle and her wrists out of habit, and brushed her bangs out of her eyes as much as possible. They weren't incredibly long, just long enough to be constantly in her eyes. This was the part in life that she really didn't enjoy. The feeling of standing around, when there's conversation going on all around you, but you have no part of it. Kinzie had never really been any good at starting conversations. Come to think of it, she wasn't really good at conversing much at all. So she started walking in a lazy circle, again out of habit, singing some angsty Relient K song under her breath. Eventually, as she neared her starting place, she passed by Tiana, or the girl she would probably always think of as Tiana. Well, she's probably not going to start anything. Now or never...
"Are you breathing better now?"
Yeah, that was lame. Some talent I have.

Tiff grinned wryly, though it wasn't completely forced, it wasn't particularly a humored grin either. She tended to be like that, one of those people who forced smiles, who forced their faces blank to avoid showing anything else after any level of emotional display. "Yeah, I'm fine. Really. It wasn't like I was going to die or anything."
Now she's going to think I'm some blinking idiot and decide that I'm not worth being admin and then I'm going to end up being deleted by the people I set up and then I'm going to end up hated for the rest of my life and...
Oh, Force, my brain's doing run on sentences. Must think IC... characters might not blow up in this situation, why do I have to... because I'm me... right...

"Didn't really think so. My brother was an asthmatic for a while, and I have a friend who does the panic attack thing.... so, yeah. I guess I just figured I'd check." Being a paranoid person myself and all...
And then her mind went blank, which was a thing that tended to happen rather more than she would wish, and all she could think of was "Do you suffer from long term memory loss?""I can't remember." which happened to be a song that rather fit the moment, though really didn't help her regain her place in reality at that particular moment. She shuffled one foot in little circles on the ground, sliding the other foot in and out of her shoe, which never did realy get tied.
I should really learn to sleep. Then stuff like this wouldn't happen.
