o O (That other post was really lousy so I decided on redoing it-I hope no one minds. Everyone gave great responses so I know this RPG will be a good one)
The rain beat down steadily on the form of one small maiden. She shivered, not so much from the cold or the wet but from pain. She cradled her left arm against her stomach, trying her best not to cry. It was broken, but how badly? She was not skilled in the art of healing. Skilled in nothing. She could sense them coming up quickly. They would capture her again if a miracle didn't appear. Ramo had lost all faith in miracles long ago. "Luthien, hear my cry!!" Her voice echoed through the woods, filled with pain, despair.

Eldarion walked quietly in the rain. The clothes he wore were not the shinning armor he usually wore, but worn, dirty ones. Not worn and dirty because he used them alot, for he had just put them on for the first time last week, and had not taken them off, but because they belonged to his father, who had worn them for nearly eighty years. As he walked, he saw a maiden in the middle of the woods. She appeared to be hurt, or crying. She cried out to Luthien, and , though it would not be good to tell her his name, nor heritage, he approached her. "Fair maiden, why are you out here alone? There is a band of orcs not far off, and it is dangerous out here."

Ramo pushed the hair out of her eyes and looked up at the stranger standing beside her. His clothes were tattered and torn. He looked like a Ranger, except not quite. "I am no maiden. I am here because I look for that which is lost." She sighed and stood to her feet slowly. "I am from Imladris heading for Rohan. The orcs are camped twenty leagues from here. I know." She turned and straightening her dress began walking through the woods away from the man who was trying to help her. "I need no assistance."

Eldarion looked at her incredulously. "Imladris? Are you an elf? But no, the elves have all left, who are you?"

Glima looked down at the Orc barracks downhill. Too many to take on my own. He could defend his own but he can be over powered. Then he heard someone talking. He turned to see two humans talking about elves. Humans. Always thinnking the elves will save them. The Dwarf turned back to the encampment and saw a leigon leaving te others. Entcrap. he swore to himself as he ran to the two Humans. "Will you two lovebirds move it! The orcs are comeing!" Glima looked at the female and noticed she was wounded. He huffed. "Come with me, I know a place where you can get some help." He looked at her face and saw one of her ears. It was pointed. Great Elves!

OOC: Great dwarf character! :elf smiley: Erda ran through the rain from a horde of orcs. She had transformed earlier into a hulking seven foot white werewolf and slain many of them, but there were simply too many for her to handle now and her energies were getting too low to maintain the transformation for long. So for now she ran for her life, but she was tiring quickly. Through the trees she spotted a glint of armor and what looked like a dwarf talking to a few other people. Erda did not want to bring the Orcs down on these people, but she had nowhere else to run. She ran right into their midst. "Beware, the orcs are behind me!" she said and kept running.

(OOC: My character profile is up in the profile page if anyone is interested)
Gwen sat high in the bows of a tree, watching the activity unfolding below her. She turned her head in the direction of the orcs. Her elven ears picked up there loud stomping and cursing as they moved through the forest. She drew her black cloak closer around her body and pulled her knees up to her chest. The orcs had not yet seen her, but she knew that she needed to move somewhere else soon. Orcs were stupid, but not that stupid. The wind ruffled her short blonde hair and a raindrop fell on her cheek. She closed her blue eyes to inhale the moist air just as an arrow shot by her and buried itself in a branch. "Time to go," Gwen muttered to herself as she unfolded her tall frame and dropped silently out of the tree. Unsure of the company below, she held back a ways and silently observed them.

Hearing the cry about orcs, Glima drew his short sword and looked at the batallion that was quickly approaching. "You two better leave! Go north to Bree. You'll be safe there." An Orc juped from a tree and the Dwarf used his sword to skuwer it. Pushing he bod aside he put the weapon in its sheath and fought the orcs with his axes. He turned to the two Elves. "Are you pointed ears broken? Run!" He turned and threw his axe at a charging orc and moved out of the way of the falling body. After taking his axe out of the orc he fought the rest with a new fury.

Erda hid in a stand of trees and watched as the dwarf turned and faced the battalion by himself.
"I can't let him face them alone!" she thought to herself. Summoning strength from deep inside, she transformed one final time and exploded from the trees as a huge white werewolf. Growling ferociously she grabbed an orc that had snuck up on the dwarf from behind and threw it into a bunch of its fellows. Using her claws and teeth, she stood near the dwarf, helping to fight off the orcs.

Eldarion threw off his over cloak and drew the ranger sword that he had strapped to his left hip. Not Anduril, but his father's ranger sword. "I will never leave a battle, you run to saftey, ELENDIL!!!" With that Eldarion charged into the battallion of orcs.

Ramo stood alone. She htrew her hands in the air and drew her own bow. "Why do they think I cannot car for myself?" She moved her left arm to retrieve an arrow and then remembered. Curses flew from her mouth as she dropped her bow to the ground and instead pulled her sowrd. Rain splattered against the immaculetly (sp?) clean metal as it glinted dangerously. "Meet your doom, evil."

Erda was relieved when the others didn't run. Now it was up to four against the orcs, and they were doing well. She just hoped there were no cave trolls behind the orcs!

The Orcs were being driven back by the unusual array of warriors, An Elf, A werewolf, A man, and a Dwarf. Orc archerers spring out from behind the trees and fired down at the troops. "We must retreat! We cannot fight this many!" Just as the words left his mouth the firing stopped, and all the Orcs scurried away. This can't be good. A loud roar sounded through the woods as the four froze. Glima sniffed the air. There was no doubt, a troll. Glima looked at the sky. the rain was stopping and the Sun was coming out. A plan formulated in his mind. "Everyone! Get to the Feild! The Sun will stop it!" Glima put his axes in his cloak and ran off.

Eldarion followed the dwarf out of the clearing, and into the field, killing straggling orcs while he was at it. "What do you intend on doing once we're clear targets for orc archers?" he asked him.

Puffing and panting from the weight, Glima turned to the Human. "The archerers will keep their distance while the Troll is following us! Once in the clearing, the Troll will turn to stone and the Orcs won't notice the differance until we are gone in the other side of the forest!"

Giving a howl of frustration, Erda followed the others into the clearing. She was very tired and had no energy to fight this troll! She hoped the great lumbering thing would turn into stone so she could finally rest!
