(O.O.C.-where are you guys...what part of Middle-earth are you in?and when does this take place...a couple ages after WOTR, or a couple yrs, mos, days?)
Eoloth sat up in her saddle with a start. She could hear dim voices about a furlong to her left. She slid off her horse, Leona, and led the mare through the forest, following the sound of the voices. She hadn't heard a human voice in a few days. Travelling through this forest, on her way to Imladris, was a challenge. But now...people!
The voices were closer, much closer. Not yet wishing to reveal herself, Eoloth stood just outside the clearing where the voices were coming from. She carefully and silently pulled up the hood on her dark green cloak. Slipping her bow off her shoulder, she pulled out an arrow from her quiver and set it. She did not, however, raise her bow taut, but simply listened to the two female voices coming from the clearing in stealthy silence.

((I'd say in Moria. Try to find more orcs. And we're kinda near there, so that works too, if you are planning to attack. *hopes it is otherwise at present.*))

o O (Sorry everyone!! I was away for the week and just got back. Exhaustion is not the word ) Aldrin nodded and accepted the food. She gnawed at it hungrily and then remembered her manners. "You will have to excuse me. It has been some time since I have been in the presence of other civilized beings." A movement in the woods caught her eye and she turned but dismissed it as an animal. "I appreciate you helping me . . . " Her voice trailed off and she dropped into silence

Eorae's eyes followed Aldrin's glance. "Well, I couldn't have not helped you, it wouldn't be right. Did you see something?" She asked, her hand straying to her sword.

Eoloth watched the two women in front of her with a wary and suspicious eye. All her muscles strained taut, ready for anything. She could tell the two companions heard a noise from her, for they both glanced in her direction. She wondered how she could present herself to them without taking them by surprise. She simply decided she would make a great deal of noise, and walk right into the clearing. She replaced her bow on her back and her arrow in its quiver as stealthily as she had pulled them out.
((can i write Aldrin and Eorae's reactions in my own post, or do I have to wait for you two? I will wait this time, but I want to know...))
Eoloth started shuffling about, stepping on twigs and things, all the while keeping an eye on the two women in the clearing. Finally, she pretended simply to stumble into the clearing, leading her horse behind her.

o O (For my part yes you may. As long as it's simply "She was startled" etc)
Aldrin watched the girl stumble into the clearing. "I felt her presence." Too many people were here for her liking and she stood. "Perhaps it is time I am continuing with my journey. I travel South if it is on your way Eorae."

"Wait!" Eoloth cried aloud, then immediately regretted it as she received stern glances from both her companions. Speaking more softly and more meekly, she said, "South? That path is hazardous. It is rumoured orcs grow in the places of the deep beneath the Misty Mountains..." Eoloth bit her tongue before she offered her services and lost their friendship and trust before she even had a chance to gain it. In these times, whenever someone seemed too open or friendly, as Eoloth was prone to be, people seemed to resent it. And these women already seemed to regard her presence as unnecessary and irritable. Eorae, as the other woman had addressed her, remained silent. Eoloth said nothing, but noticed the evil wound on Aldrin's arm. She also saw it was bandaged with the skill of a healer, and wondered which of these two had cared for the wound.

Aldrin squared her shoulders and looked at the women. "Never the less. I must travel South that is my path and I intend to take it." Her voice was strong but her hand trembled. She had no wish to meet Orcs again, not unarmed as she now was. But the Caravan could be in danger. They would have interecepted Windfara and be worried about her health. It was imperative that she warn them.

Eorae jumped up. "I'm going with you, Aldrin! I don't have anywhere better to be, and going south unarmed would be suicide." She then turned to the newcomer, "Who are you?"

Eoloth was relieved that at least Eorae wanted to find out who she was. There was yet a chance that she might go with them, which she wanted to do. She had accomplished her task in these parts, and had nothing left to do but head home, to Minas Tirith. That, at least, would be in the same direction these two were going in.
"I am Eoloth, my lady." Eoloth curtsied low, as she had long known how to do in the Halls of Rohan, Imladris, and the Citadel of Kings, namely, Minas Tirith. "If it is not overmuch to ask, who are you two, and whither do you go? 'The South' is a general term."

Eorae gaped, "Lady Eoloth of Rohan?" This woman certainly had the grace of a high-born, but what in the Void was she doing out here? And wasn't she supposed to be betrothed to a Prince of Dol Amroth? This certainly wasn't a place Eorae had expected to run into any nobles.

o O (Slight correction. Dol Amroth is the way to spell it ) Aldrin shifted uncomfortably, royalty had a rather unsettling effect on her. "I am Aldrin Nuleste. And I can give you no more details about my path then I travel South. The safety of many lives depend on my secrecy." She smiled slightly and fiddled with the small leather pouch that hung from her belt. If she was going to leave it needed to be soon. It would be best to put as much distance between herself and where she was attacked as possible. If only she had been able to hold onto Gurthdegir.

Eoloth blushed as she heard her title. "Yes," she answered, "that is my name." "But then, perhaps, since you know my name, I might seek the privilege of knowing yours. Is it Eorae, as our friend here has said?" And turning to Aldrin, though the woman looked away, Eoloth inclined her head to her, and gave the woman a friendly smile. Aldrin was still elusive, but Eoloth decided not to press her and said instead, "Do not think ill of me, but my road lies in that direction as well. May I go with you? Be honest in your answer, if you do not wish my company, then say so."

((Kira, no offense, but I'd like to answer questions directed at my char.)) Eorae looked to Aldrin, this was her journey and Eorae didn't think that it was her place to make the desicion, even though she would like the chance to see what a royal person could do in a fight and such, if they ran into trouble.
