"Or almost ended. I know how that feels." And his life of smuggling made that feeling almost constant.
"So, if you don't mind, what were you doing out there?"

Emylia set down her glass of juice and looked at Echo intently, asking,"And why do you care?"

Ooh, she's a open one, yes.
"Why shouldn't I? Your life almost vanished across the cosmos, lost forever. Only by pure chance, a little luck, and if you believe in it the Force, are you still alive."
He let that sink in for a minute.
"But, if you don't feel like talking, I'll leave you be."

Emylia sighed and said, "Sorry, guess I'm just not one to go and spill out my whole life story to someone I just met." She crossed her arms across her chest and thought for a minute. After a moment she pulled her backpack off and pulled out a piece of wrapped of cloth. She unraveled it, revealing a small crystal.
"But if you must know, I was looking for more of these." Emylia said, holding up the crystal for Echo to see. "Seems like lots of people, no matter what planet you're on, will pay quite a bit for these little things."

Echo stared transfixed into the crystal. It seemed to glow with an inner raidiance, yet, it didn't emit any light. ((What color is it?)) The sight of it made him shiver with the memory of what those things were for, and how they affected his life.
"Amazing. Truly amazing. That would catch a price to the right bidder."

Emylia grinned slightly, almost as if she was proud of herself, as she tucked the red crystal back in the cloth. She carefully put it back in her pack and nodded, saying,"Yep, I've practically made my living off of those little things. Sometimes I wonder what it is that makes almost everyone want them, besides the fact that they make one heck of a weapon. Some say that some crystals are Force-sensitive, whatever that's supposed to mean." Emylia shrugged. "But I'm rambling. So, uh, what time is it?"

Echo checked his chronometer on his wrist.
"13:47. Those things make the most effective weapon out there."
He shuddered, the red crystal was digging up memories he'd wished stayed buried. Like the Jedi recruiter with the red longsaber. Strangly thinking of the Jedi made him think of Ben.
Where the heck is he?

Emylia sighed, looking obviously restless. "You know, I've been here for a while," She started, "And I really honestly feel fine. So why can't I go?"

"Well, if you feel ok, then," he pulled out two vails of bubbling liquid, "Take two of these, and call me in the morning. If you experience any side-effects of the poison, the Enclave should help you out."
He handed her the Vails.
"Nice meeting you, hope we meet again."

Jedi....she hated Jedi, and look, there was an enclave right in front of her. She shared no love for the Republic either. But to her it was for good reason. Sabaa stood, quite invisible thanks to her good stealth belt. She was here for help...she wanted the Jedi to reverse the problems the caused to her home, which began to deteriorate from the rich paradise it was after the "Betrayal over Malachor" or atleast that's how her people saw it. She stood tall, her clothes made for stealth, her small read tattoo almost glowing under the light, or atleast it would if they could see her. She would listen to them, for now...and follow them, if they didn't see her...if they did, well her people are respected by even Mandalorians for their battle-prowness. She saw someone rush past her into the enclave, she was sure he would have felt her as he ran by, that was not good. She sneaked in behind him, to see if he indeed noticed her pressence....Hopefully she didn't follow him into a room full of jedi, atleast one of them could sense her.

Emylia took the vials from Echo and said,"Thanks for helping me and such. I'll be more careful next time." She grinned and drank the two vials like she was told, then turned to walk out the door, but stopped, looking somewhat embarassed. "So uh, which way is the way out of here?"

"Follow the yellow tape on the floor. It'll lead you out to the ramp."
Something told Echo that this would not be the last time he met her. He wasn't sure he was supposed to be excited or dreading it. So he went to go work on the Hyper drive.

Emylia nodded and followed the little yellow line of tape. She tapped her fingers on her vibrosword absentmindedly until she eventually reached the entrance. She took one last look at where she had spent the last several hours, tried her best to remember what it looked like, then finally left. She was dying to get back to those caves.
Emylia found herself just outside the Jedi enclave, facing the same direction she had been when she had passed out. She turned around and scanned the fields of grass, trying to remember which direction the caves were in.

Sareth felt an strong urge to say that she didn't believe that Ben was focused enough for this task, that she should do it on her own, but she knew the council had made its desicion, and that she must abide by it.
Master Vandar started explaining. "Ben, we feel that the dream you and Sareth had points to some ruins here on Dantooine. We sent a Jedi to investigate, but he has not returned. We feel you and Sareth should go and investigate yourselves."
Whether or not Ben wants to go, or if he as something "more important", Sareth thought, I'm going. We had that dream for a reason and I need to go there.

Echo felt cooped up in his own ship, and decided to go see what was keeping the Uber-Jedi so long. He gave Janice a quick peck on the cheek, and headed into the Enclave. The Jedi all watched him as he walked past, and one confronted him.
"You there, padawn! Why aren't you wearing the traditional robes of our order?"
Echo looked at the speaker. She was tall and thin with brown hair in a braid behind her back.
"I-- uh..., I'm not a padawan, I don't have the Force."
She looked confused and intruiged at the same time. "Strange, I feel the Force is strong with you. Was one of your parents a Jedi?"
The question cut deeply into his heart. Yes, his father was a Jedi, but he died when Echo was young, and he hardly knew him then.
"Y-yes, my father was a Jedi. He's been dead now for thirty-three years."
"I'm sorry. What was his name?"
"Dajj. His Jedi name was Dajj. He was killed by a Dark Jedi."
"My condolences, I-- wait, I know you. You're that Republice Hero who helped save the war at Malachor V. Looks like you had some reconstruction afterwards, because you certainly don't look like the Carth I knew. Feel the same, though."
Echo suddendly recognized the woman. She was his General during the Mandalorian wars.
"i'd rather that not become public knowledge, if you understand me. The reconstruction was involuntary due to my wounds, but I perferred this persona to my old one. Fewer people want me dead."
"I understand. May the Force be with you, Onasi."
Echo continued to walk deeper into the enclave, and found the room that Ben was in. But he wouldn't intrude. She could sense the Force in me? Could I become a Jedi?

Ben grinned slightly and said "I would be honered to accpet this task masters....but there is something i need to confir with you." Ben walked close to the council and said in a low voice "The distubance i felt...it came frome behind the caves not in them...if the ruins are behind the caves then something terrible happends recently..."

Emylia jogged through the fields, glancing from side to side, keeping an eye out for kath hounds as she raced toward the caves. She could see them now, and she hoped that those kinraths weren't just inside waiting for her.
Emylia eventually got there and took a deep breath, taking a moment to think over what exactly she was going to do once inside the caves. Find the large room where I was earlier, investigate that crack in the wall... She tucked a strand of black hair behind one ear and crossed her arms, wondering if there was any other way to get inside without being seen.
A stealth generator... that's what I need! She grinned to herself and turned back around, jogging back to the enclave to find a merchant or someone who'd know where to get a stealth generator.

"I would be honered to accpet this task masters....but there is something i need to confir with you."
Sabaa cursed inwardly as he moved in closer to the council. "Damn Jedi and their secrecy...." She thought, before moving in slowly, knowing that she was cutting it close, but if it was something important, it might help her to save her decaying planet. She did not want to ask the Jedi, to her they were scum, and it would be a blow to her pride to have to, she'd be alot happier just following one, and coercing the information from them, or atleast following them to their destination.
She would follow this fellow infront of her, not only did it seem easier to do so (he was right there, so there would be no tracking needed) and she had excellent stealth equipment, and therefore she could probably keep up undetected.

Emylia ran back around the enclave and saw what looked like a merchant with some cargo boxes filled with miscellaneous things. She approached the sullustan and he introduced himself in his native language. Thanks to her father, Emylia had grown up knowing several languages and had managed to figure out others by just listening to them.
"Hello. I am Akere. What can I help you with today?"
Emylia replied, "I'm looking for some sort of stealth generators. Happen to have any?"
Akere nodded and turned around, beginning to dig in one of the boxes. After a moment he turned back around, a metallic belt in his hands. Emylia grinned and asked, "So how much do I owe ya?"
"150 credits," The sullustan said.
Emylia nodded and removed her pack, rummaging through it to find her bag of credits. While she was doing so, she couldn't help but notice that Akere was studying her pretty closely as she looked in her bag. Finding her credits, she counted out 150 and handed them to Akere, who handed her the belt. Emylia immediately put the belt on and said, "Thanks," Turning away to head back to the caves, Akere's voice made her stop.
"You look very familiar," He said in a distant voice.
Emylia's brow furrowed and she faced him again, "I do?" Akere nodded and she added,"I've never been to Dantooine before."
After a moment of thinking, Akere's eyes lit up as he exclaimed, "Emylia! Emylia Tarbann!"
Emylia took a step back and said, "How do you know me?"
Akere smiled, "I knew your father."
