You know, I think I just realized my problem. I don't get out. At all. Maybe boys would actually like me if they actually seen me... I go out in town about once a month, or less. I go out of the house for church, Awana, youth group, and piano lessons. (odd look) And the bagger in Extra Foods likes my boots... But yes... I'm a geek, a goody-goody-two-shoes, and naive... either people hate/are very bothered by me, or they love me. -_- I think I'll get used to it one day that I HAVE to be nice to everyone... most of the time. It's in my personality! (wails) It's not fair!!! Why couldn't've I have been blond, hated fantasy, and liked boys and makeup?! BOYS!! J/k... (maybe I'll marry my computer)

Heh. But the computer can't make a whole lot of money... tough cookies. <grins> And don't go blonde. 'Tisn't worth it. <is blonde...ish>
I love my school. I just realized that today. We rock. I mean, I'm... weird. I don't really look like a geek... but I am, and everybody knows it. But they don't care. There are a couple of kids.. the creepy ones that every school has, that sort of hang on the outside of things, but otherwise, we all sort of hang together. The group of people I'm always with is made up of soccer-players, Volleyball-players, soccer-players/Terry Goodkind and That weird kid with the glasses... what's his name? Peeves: Potty Wee Rotter. fans, and a whole random jumble of other folks. 'Tis super nifty. Sure, I wear makeup, but not so much that it's like, 'Wow, you're wearing makeup'. You just can't tell that I have eyelashes without it.. <snrk>
The only problem that I have is comunication. I talk to people and can converse with relative ease, but generally only if someone starts a conversation with me. If they don't, I don't really talk an awful lot. Which makes for a lot of awkward silences. Heh... but my friends don't really care. They all talk enough to make up for me, anyway.

I havn't been in reality for a while...the board I mean. ;D
I have no idea what other people see me as. In school I am in no way 'the weird one we avoid', but i am 'the Jedi kid' (YES!) and don't have that many friends because I don't talk to people easily. Maybe people would say I brush them off...I don't like to talk to 'mundanes' because i can't start conversations about school or guys or whatever without reverting to formula that gets real old real quick. I need to be more outgoing. I like to talk about SW, martial arts, weapons and plots and writing and music and myths and video games and things that do not reveal what i'm not good at. I don't talk much in school. I can be crazy, with good friends. Do I talk like i do online? I don't know...sortof. I can't find my 'personality' in my posts like this one; I'm not tough enough. I guess I act tough. I won't be touched or hugged unless I need it (which happened yesterday, but yesterday was odd). I can have a grim sense of humor, the end of the world and such. No boyfriend, ever. I like a guy right now, but that's wierd. I have my fangirlishness, but I don't like it, mostly. No one's asked me out...I don't know if that's a fault of mine, or a result of my distinct separatiom from people who spend all their time in reality.

I feel a bit isolated at school due to my extreme geekiness... but last weekend, I went up to visit my sister at Oxford university, and went to the That weird kid with the glasses... what's his name? Peeves: Potty Wee Rotter. society with her.
And OMG THERE WERE GEEKS EVERYWHERE.
We spent ages discussing our favourite characters, the events of book 6 and various other questions... we also got sorted into houses (Ravenclaw, YAY!), had a quiz, and played various games.
I started talking to this (quite good looking ;D) guy about whether Harry was [glow=black,112,300] a horcrux [/glow] , and then started joking about there being a Star Wars Episode 5 type revelation at the end... and that got us talking about Star Wars, and I realized there are greater geeks out there than me.
Conversation inevitably turned to Jar-Jar. He asked, "Why was Jar-Jar banished?"
"Er-"
"You've got to say all of it in the Jar-Jar voice. Word for word!"
".... ummm... Mesa, um, clumsy."
He then rattled off all of Jar-Jar's speech in the voice, and then explained what Jar-Jar meant with certain words. Apparently he'd researched it on the Star Wars databank. We then got into a heated debate about which was better, Episode 1 or 3.
In the end, my sister had to drag me away.

lol... that is hilarious!!! I like most of my fellow geeks, but one thing I really don't like , is when they correct every single thing you say... have you ever had a conversation like that? when they seem more interested in being right than what the truth really is? we geeks need to stick together! Cy: mostly just the characters

Heh heh.. I once had a period of book crushes... like, Dzang, why can't that guy actually exist.... <snrk> My school is too small for any of that sort of relationship with any of the guys. I know them all too well, and it would just be... weird....

Okay, there's one issue with the spoiler tag that I created... it works through the cencors, which only catch whole words... heh. So if you have a letter or a punctuation mark right after it or before it, it won't work. And I'm too lazy to program in EVERY STINKIN' POSSIBILITY... yeah. You have to put it with a space before and after it. Like [glow=black,199,999] blah blah [/spoiler ] .
No spaces inside, though.
All in all, it's still easier than writing out the glow and text color spoiler tag, though.
Nah, I'm out to convince my dad I need to dye my hair black, actually. Heh. I'm just on the large list of people who aren't allowed to do anything permanenet to their body until they move out... (sigh) Not that I'd do anything worse than dye my hair, and I'd still prefer temporary dye, so that's why I'd never bleach it... but darkening it would be nice, just once...

On a note about black hair dye: it is the color of NO RETURN!!! Like, seriously. My cousin went black, and it took SO MANY color treatments to get her hair back to brown (she was originally a bleached blonde). It is also havoc on your hair because dye can be very damaging. I know this because I have a friend who wants me to dye my (naturally with a few highlights) blonde hair black and I refuse on the basis of I have no clue if I could get it blonde again in the next year. So I suggest talking to a professional if you REALLY want to dye light hair black. A wash out might work, but once again, ask if it will come out without a problem.
And then there is the issue of looking like a vampire when you are finished, which I so WOULD!!! I'm really pale and have light eyebrows, so I would look just weird with black hair. But I like it on other people! I would just never do it myself unless it was Avril Lavigne - style streaks or something.
Anyway, I have no clue why I have never posted in this thread before! In real life, I'm... um... sheesh, I have no clue what to write! I'm really relaxed and laid back. It takes a bit of effort to really make me mad, although some things will set me off right away (like my brother). I'm told by my friends that I'm a really good person to talk to because I listen and try to give godly advice. I don't play girly drama games. In fact, I try to avoid drama like the plague just because I have seen the damage it can cause. I have my blonde moments (dont' we all)! I can be a total goof, like when I'm in a Junior high service and stuff. I enjoy being a Junior High counselor (hence, the junior high services) at church. And, uh, that's about it... OH!!! I can't stand being bored. I'm not hyper, but I don't like it when things turn monotneous (and I know I didn't spell that right). That's actually why I had to test out of highschool. I got REALLY bored being homeschooled. Like, borderline depressed. And I like writing. Don't have that much time to do it for fun anymore, but English class is a breeze because I don't have a hard tiem writing at all. I actually think I have the second highest grade in the class, which surprised me. And I like reading. A lot, and very quickly.
Anyway, there you have it...

I doubt I'd permanently dye my hair, and my hair isn't that light. It's edgy. I have dark eyebrows and eyelashes, so yeah...
I think maybe if I dye my hair though, I'll just go dark brown instead. Make it more reddish brown than my goldish brown.
And I probably, in all my town, would rank as about third best writer for my age area. Perhaps even top. I wouldn't know... I know I'm one of the best painters my age... snrk.

Next summer I'm going to dye my hair auburn. Maybe just my bangs, but I'm also growing it out, so I'll probably have to do the whole thing. And I think I'm going to put blonde-ish hilights in it, as well, so it's not just one nasty color. I have to talk my dad into it, though. Which should be good fun.

I'm not dying my hair, no matter how much the girls in my year protest that I'd look great with blonde highlights. I will keep it and keep growing it until one day I seriously need money, then I will cut most of it off and sell it to wig makers who are so eager for 'virgin' hair.

Hmmm...that sounds like an excellent plot, indeed...mine's still untouched by anything permanent at the moment... (grins) Although I was considering submitting myself for some of the medical research once I move into Winnipeg. There's some pretty harmless stuff one can make good money off of, as long as one fits into the correct categories.
I had seriously considered dying my hair black, or possibly very dark blue, for a while. Fortunately my eyebrows are pretty much black, so it wouldn't look weird...until my hair would start growing out, that is... (grins)

I would look seriously odd. My eyebrows are ash-blonde, and are massive so it's not like people wouldn't notice them.
