My legs hurt, I have a headache, I spent the whole week walking up a hill, my back hurts, my head hurts (did I say that already....), I almost tipped over our canoe and almost got bit by a turtle, and I'm getting it all out right now. So deal with it. *dodges cake*
Hey, I'm entitled to a little whining now and then, especially since I haven't been able to all week!! Bleh, the screen is all fuzzy.... *is dizzy*

She is confused because she has been gone for a long time and when that happens on this site, NOTHING makes sense... Anyway, Eowyn, Dun was at camp and she almost got bit by a turtle... Or she DID get bit, I can't remember which one... I JUST KNOW IT INVOLVED A BITING TURTLE!!! *throws cake at random turtle*

Turtles are scary, sort of an under the sea ariel is scary sort of thing ,you know. If I went to camp, and there were turtles I'd probably die from like, some form of voice disorder. from shrieking. I am like that with spiders. Eww at my grandparents they have these spiders with really hard bums and you cant kill them. They are like Mini Shelobs under the deck. Scary I know.

(rolls eyes) Spiders. Ooo...how scary... Okay, okay, I'll quit being sarcastic.
But this means of course that I must tell you all a little story.
Once upon a time I was sitting in a math class that was empty except for me and a friend. We were talking, then without warning she let out the loudest scream I've heard at short range and bolted for the door. It freaked me out so badly I jumped right out of my seat and whirled around, half expecting to find some sort of Edward Scissorhands incarnate or some kind of chainsaw murderer.
Nope. Just a harmless little spider the size of my thumbnail dangling from the ceiling. I could have laughed, except I was still shaking from the adrenaline...so I just pinched the thread above the spider and then proceeded to squish it with a handy Kleenex.
I also love turtles, by the way...(shakes head) Do I really belong here?
Random interesting fact: Daddy longlegs are extremely poisonous, but not many know this because they don't bite. So don't ever let your babysitting charge eat one. Okay? Okay.

Really? I did not know that... *makes note to never eat Daddy longlegs*
Ah, math class... We had a roach in math class, once. It was right next to me, and my teacher came over and *squish* with his foot (he had a shoe on, mind you)... T'was quite disgusting, as you can all probably imagine...
Agent Vader: And you are telling us this WHY?!
Trinity: Dunno. Okay, now that everyone is thoroughly grossed out, time for breakfast...

I tihnk my math teacher preforms illegal open heart surgery in the class. It's disterbingly clean. No math class should be clean unless its used for some form of illegal surgery. That is my honest opinion. *snickers*
You know I wasnt always scared of spiders. I blame it entirely on Tolkien. When I read that book and it was all " GIANT SPIDER KILLS FRODO> SAM RUNS AWAY" I cried (pathetic) and hid undermy bed. From then on I have a phobia a BIG spiders. Not small BIG. and there are only BIG spiders in my area. So much for that.

...We don't have roaches, or overly big spiders. It's TOO DANG COLD FOR 'EM!!! IT SNOWED IN WINNIPEG YESTERDAY!!! Only ten flakes...but IT SNOWED!!! I MEAN, COME ON!!! IT'S AUGUST, FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!!
Sigh. Oh, well. I like the cold far better than the sweltering heat.
You know, I used to play with spiders of all sizes when I was a toddler. Where did that go?
Obi-Wan: With your sanity. Out the window.
Jandalf: Well, then, I'll get my Padawan to pull it back in.

At least you have snow. I live as far north as Alaska, but all we get is rain. But I agree that snow is bad in August.

I have the opposite extreme. It's stinking 100 degrees farenhiet down here... And during winter we are lucky if we get a bit of frost on the grass. I don't mind it when it rains, though... Doesn't happen too often.
I like tarantulas. Don't know why, maybe because they are furry... Mom and I were out on a walk a couple of days ago, and we saw one of those spider wasp things dragging a tarantula along... Y'know, the wasps who kill and/or paralyze the tarantula so they can lay their eggs inside and when they babies wake up, well, let's just say breakfast is close at hand? You would not believe how big those wasps are! Like, the size of my thumb...
That was my morbid/disgusting fact for the day... Don't you all feel so lucky?

...You have tarantulas in CA? Remind me never to go that far south.
Another morbid/disgusting fact: Roaches can live for a week without their head and still respond to stimuli.
