"Was I suppose to tell you?" she asked helplessly. "I told you what I could... I couldn't tell you anything else... I'm going crazy. Hah! Haha... oh, dammit, can you just throw me out of a window now or something? Only I'll probably heal because I'm not human and..." Ariane threw a fist against the wall, looking as if she really was for all the world, suicidal.

Gaheris raised his hands uncertainly. "No... no, just... I know I can trust ye. Perhaps not any of the others, but I know ye. And... are we ever getting back? Because if not, don't worry about my keys..."

"Yeah, well, um, I don't know who has them now anyway..." Ariane interlaced her fingers atop her head, partly in surrender, partly in contemplation. "I don't know. I really don't. Oh, and I shot someone impersonating a Star Wars characters, so, um, yeah, if we'd like to leave..."

"Ye shot someone?" Gaheris stared at her in disbelief. "Whit were ye thinking?"
Come to think of it, their surroundings did look rather like that Jedi Temple he had seen in the movies a while back. Gaheris had never paid much attention to the goings-on of media and fandom, but it did ring a bell nevertheless, which only served to increase his anxiety.

"Um... paranoia," she retorted. "Seems you're suffering the same thing." Ariane withdrew from the wall, picking her gun up carefully with one hand and reholstering it against her leg. "I didn't shoot to kill, anyway. I do know how to do that."
Both of them really needed to sit down, breathe, and relax, and stuff.
But where was the fun in THAT?

"Where are they? Whit happens if they die on account of it anyway? Do they use capital punishment around here?" Another overload of unpleasantness on Gaheris' brain was imminent; he started heading towards the turbolift, identifying it for the elevator it was, in a determination to find his way out of this place.

"No!" She grabbed his arm and hauled him down the hallway. "This way! Okay? Um... yeah." Ariane quickly let go of him, realizing that her touch might be considered repulsive now that he was aware of what she really was. Not human, mostly.

"I don't care if ye think something's lurking in there," he snapped. "I've already seen worse. I don't wish to die here, and I'm leaving."

"Yeah, well, there's a Jedi with a bullet in his chest in there," she snapped back. "You're not going to die here! I'm not going to kill you! Okay? Blast it all! Gah! GAH!!"

"In which case I'm going to see if there's anything I can do. I might as well make myself of use." Gaheris pulled away and redirected himself towards the turbolift. He wasn't a doctor, but having been in pharmacy he had looked into a thing or two and knew a thing or two more than first-aid basics. Besides which, having a mission of sorts kept his mind a bit clearer, a bit freer of the confusion of panic.

Ariane sighed. "Well, then he'll probably be a bit ticked off at me." The woman tugged her shirt collar back up a bit and swirled off down the hallway quickly. "Gah!" She was muttering to herself and thinking extensively about Rincewind for a moment.

Gaheris took a moment in figuring out which button was the right one to open the door; he pressed it in, and nothing happened. Pausing, he pushed it again, and it was a few more moments before the turbolift door slid open to reveal an abandoned car with a few speckles of blood inside.
Took a different floor and got out? he wondered. It made sense, after all, to want to be as far away from one's attacker as possible. He turned back around to see if Ariane was still nearby and spotted her farther down the hall. While her company unnerved him to some degree, now he felt an abject sense of abandonment that was far more disagreeable. There was a moment of indecision as he weighed the situation, and thought his chances might be better if he kept with her. He started off down the hall.

Some part of her sensed that he had followed her, the inner shadow-wolf sense. It must've been nearing full moon. She was beginning to pick up on smells so much stronger; she could smell his fear, smell the blood...
Ariane shuddered and took a deep breath.
"You're coming with me?" She stopped and turned around to stare across at the pharmisist. "Why? I bother you severely now." She glanced away to stare out the window. "Probably everyone." I'm a monster, aren't I?

"I'm sorry." The glance behind him was automatic by now, a quick check to ensure nothing was sneaking up behind him. "I haven't been myself lately. We'll have better chances with this if we're together."

Her face wrinkled. "You know, you smell afraid. Had I wanted to hurt you, I would've done it before you knew. So. Step one, get out of Jedi Temple wannabe location?"

((Gack! I'm gone for one day and this happens! Can't leave you children alone now can I? *grins*)) As soon as Channi spoke the words "He's still here" Eisley had turned on her heel and started running. Kenobi's Force signature cried out for help. She recognized the pain that ripped through it. Slow down. Focus. The Jedi Master took a deep breath, not glancing behind to see if the other two were following. A turbo lift was stopped on the floor and she depressed the button. With a whoosh the doors opened to reveal crimson-stained carpet and one very hurt Obi-Wan Kenobi. She grunted and knelt by his side, long fingers probing the wound. "Blaster bolt. You're always getting yourself into these situations Ben. Good thing I'm here to get you out" Eisley pulled out a bacta patch from the pack at her waist, tore it open with her teeth and slapped it ((None too gently)) onto his chest. Her eyes met his for a moment and she didn't say anything more.

Gaheris tried ignoring the reference to his obvious fear as well as vulnerability. "If this is nothing more than a setup, they went to a lot of work to make it look genuine. It's all real."

"I'm glad you're so trusting." Ariane turned around, now that the area was more shadowed, to stare up at him with dark eyes. "Look. Real or not, we're stuck in it. Together. Yeah, I'm a werewolf now. Who knows if any others like us were pulled over. We might have more menaces to deal with in the near future. I know this probably ruined our... friendship, if it was that..."
She gave a dull smile. "I'm sorry for losing your keys."

((Oh, aye, there's no telling what we'll get up to!))
"I can live with it." He touched her shoulder, partially as proof to them both that he was still capable of contact with one of the species that had so suddenly become his worst enemy (if only in his perceptions). "I hope ye don't mind staying a friend. I could use one right about now."

"Think I don't?" She took his other hand lightly. "I get to live as everyone's worst nightmare." Dropping his hand, she spun back around, pacing off quickly. "Now, come on. I'm sure that everyone's noticed that I shot a canon character by this point. If they haven't noticed the Ewok army on top of the roof, that is." And, interestingly, a piano teacher exists as a Jedi Master...
She was afraid.
Afraid of someone who now perceived her family as their worst nightmare. Afraid that he might try attacking her with silver chains and binding her...
Afraid that they would end up on a planet with more than one moon. That would suck.
