The small ship Renegade hovered over the vast forests of Kashyyyk. The landing gear unfolding, the small vessel landed gracefully.

Alexander stepped out of the ship and activated his datapad. "According to my 'pad, my ship is right over........ there!" He points to thick forest. Al sighed and noted once agian his compainions distrust. One day I have to ask her why she hates Jedi.

Shaya stepped out of the cockpit without a word. She shut the door and after making sure it was completely locked down, she walked towards the city, away from Alex. Just keep walking...
She was met by a rodian dressed in guard-like clothes. "You must pay the fee." He said, looking rather dangerous.
Shaya thrust her hand into her pocket and pulled out a bunch of credits balled into a compact roll. She practically threw them into the rodian's hand and muttered,"Keep the change."
She walked forward, looking for the nearest cantina. Find the cantina, have a drink, lose Jedi Alex, and then get off this lousy planet...

Shaya stopped walking immediately. She stood there for about two minutes, her back turned towards Alex.
"B-because...a Jedi killed my father..." She spat out, blinking back tears. "Ten years ago...on Manaan..."

Alex stepped back a foot. "A Jedi? Are you sure? Some Sith impersenate Jedi to get their dirty work done." Alexander felt betrayed somehow. "Did he leave a name?"

"Graii Haldor...that was his name..." Shaya looked slightly surprised to see that Alex actually cared.

Garii Haldor?!? Can it be?! Last time I saw him was when we were padawans. "I know who killed your father. We grew up in the temple together. He was the bully there, and took a dislike to me. He diddn't like my spunk. One day I hads to sparr with him for our training, I beat him and he said after the sparr that I'll pay for humiliating him. One day he dissappered leaving a note that said: 'I'll be back and you'll know when, Ali.' I think he is back."

"Okay..." Shaya was kind of put off by the way Alex had responded so quickly. "Well, what do you want to do about it? Should we find your ship first, or what?"

"We should check the dock master to see if he's seen my ship first, then we'll see what to do next."

"Okay," Shaya nodded in agreement. "Lead the way then." She felt better about this Jedi than she had before. She was beginning to trust him a little, but she was still very wary of him.

Alex walked over to the hangar and saw a wookie at a desk. Alex walked over and pulled out a holo-emmiter. "Excuse me, have you seen this ship anywhere?" It displayed a mini-model of an early design of a rebel blockade runner. The wookie spoke to him in wookie. "Um, Miss Starr, can you translate?"

((Just a little FYI note: The main language of the Wookiees is Shyriiwook, although some of the coastal tribes speak a dialect called xaczik. *winks* Thought I'd let you know, if anyone was curious.))

((Ok, thanks!!))
Shaya walked up to the desk also and spoke with the wookiee for a moment. Then she turned to Alex and said,"He says he did see the ship, but he only saw it yesterday. He says we might want to ask around to see if anyone else saw it too, and where it might be going."

Alex smiled. "Tell him thank you." Al walked around the hangar asking peole if they seen his ship. Some diddn't know, some diddn't care, some diddn't understand. The jedi found one kushibian who was operating a table selling ship computer parts said she saw it ten minutes ago, with a tall man asking for a sclicer. Alexander gasped. A Slicer will break into my files! "Do you know where he is going?" She shook her head, "He did give me this." Al took the small chip. He ran back to Shaya. "Shaya! Look! He took off my tracking decvice!" Alex slumped down against the wall. "Yoda trusted me with this, and look at where I am." The jedi sat down and sighed. "How am I supposed to track my ship when I don't have any recognizing charecteristics?" He asked Shaya.

Shaya sat down next to him and hugged her knees, cupping her chin in her hands. She sighed deeply. This will definitely slow things down a bit...
She mumured,"I don't know. I...I don't know what to do. What did your ship look like and what was it called?"

Alexander hung his head back. "It was a red Republic Ambassador Class Cruiser, named the Interdictor." Alex handed her the holo-emitter. Something clicked in his mind. He jolted straightg up. "Shaya, I know how to find it. We can use its transponder code to track it down! Come on!" The Jedi ran to the ship and turned on the computer. "Using a specail passcode, I can tap into my ship and make it show its number!"

"Okay..." Shaya started, slowly standing up and walking to where Alex stood. "Are you sure this will work?" she asked as he began to work with the computer. She didn't know why she wanted to ask him that, but she did.

Alex looked up. "I don't know if this will work. But, I'm going to give it a shot." Making sure Shaya couldn't see, the Jedi punched in the code: 10, 5, 4, 9. "Let's hope this works." The screen blinked a few times, and started to hum as its brain worked. Then it flashed a star map. It zoomed in on a galaxy. "That's the core wolds," Alexander said. It zoomed again to a planet. "Courascant." The screen enlkarged an image of a hangar near the Temple. "He's invading the Temple." He turned to Shaya. "I think I have a Sith situation on our hands. I need to call Yoda." He felt for his comlink, but his survival pack was on his ship. "You have a comlink?"
