"That presence I felt in space. It was dark... deep and mysterious. I hope it doesn't cross our paths." Cluge parted a branch from his view to see his master there with a puzzled look on her face. "Master Taania! Jendana! Where have you been?" He rushed up and gave them both a hearty Tusken hug, not a very Jedi thing to do, but he diddn't care.

"Well, here, of course. Where else would we have been?"
She felt like laughing. Was this Taania's evil? Not quite...

<ok Master confusion over. Thanks.>
Xaria stood beside Eisley before these newcomers, hesitant to judge, keeping up her guard. "I'm sorry, Master." She said, and figured it sounded Jedi-like..much more so than Cluge's reaction to the strangers. But his happiness did make her smile, which seemed to be a rare thing.

((Noo... that's your mother's job. *snrk* Shadowsicle... still gets me... I'm just a bit out of it. Plus I was away. Sorrrrrrrrrrrrrry))
Taania smiled suddenly, and returned the embrace, grinning up at Cluge. "You're alive!" she exclaimed, the weariness of the whole doom, death, and destruction shaking itself away. It wasn't particularly Jedi to show emotion, but at the moment, the Jedi Knight didn't really care.
There was a flicker through the Force... some sort of connection she hadn't picked up on before. Taania shook her head hard. As if...
Lathania?
The twitch of evil was still there, hanging in a near tangible form.
She released Cluge from the hug, and straightened her robes, glancing across at Jendana for a moment, then up at the two new-come Jedi. She raised one hand briefly in greeting. "Master Oricla, wasn't it?" she asked of the Twi'lek, and glanced at the Zabrak girl. "I'm afraid I'm unaquanted with your apprentice-- as I presume she is." A slight touch of the Darkside clouds this one, but she's not the... the thing. The evil that follows me.

"Xaria." She bowed, looking only quickly to Eisley for acceptance. "Light-sider in training." Rather strange thing to say... but it made sense. And was clear enough.
Seeking this evil she had heard Cluge speak of, it seemed to be more tangible with the meeting of the two. Something from their past? Another's? Danger can as easily come from the present. If there had been one thing the dark side training had done better it had been to feel the living Force, in the moment. So much could be clouded when you were thinking in all dimensions. So she settled back into the present to watch...

"I've felt it, too." said Cluge in referral to the presence. "I aquired Lathania's laightsabre, Master." He uncovered the weapon from his waist. "You should handle this, Master. It contains the power in wich to turn her back." The Tusken held out the cylinder out to his Master.

Eisley stepped forward. "A pleasure to meet you again Master Taania. I return you padawan to you." A small smile was on her face but it was forced. The headache was still bothering her. When Cluge pulled the lightsabre out she looked at it intently. A familiar Force signature cloung to it. It's Shadows! That weapon belongs to my friend Shadow. A purple hand quickly covered her mouth. Had she just uttered those words aloud? 'Go away Ril!!'

((Shadow says she wants to know how she manages to get ahold of so many lightsabers. She's muttering about me continually writing everything my friends say when they're talking. She's claiming the keyboard for a moment... must not post anymore when friends are over...
Shadow- My charrie still had her old lightsaber but everyone thinks i have a red one. i DON'T. i have a blue one!!! i'm positive i posted it was blue on Mrykr with Elachi. oh well, so i used to weild two sabers then, and lost one on tatooine and kept the other and made a red one two i guess. and, fyi, it's not my lightsaber thatll turn me back, its the proof of the good within that a person can still possess... blah. Eowyn could explain it better. stupid lightsiders...
Tiana: I'm TIANA. Agh. Okay, she's done ranting in my ear.))
Taania nodded in acknowledgement to Xaria. "You feel the moment," she said softly, "but you fall back on your past to find this now, don't you." She raised her gaze back towards Cluge and Eisley. "I thank you for returning my Padawan," she said with a friendly smile-- the friendly feel was not forced, but the cheer in her voice was.
Something's all too wrong here...
"We had thought we were stranded," she added. "Yet..." The Jedi Knight paused, and froze up completely at the sight of the weapon in Cluge's hand. She raised a pale hand to her mouth to stiffle an outcry. "Lania," she gasped through bitter shock. I knew she lived, but... She slumped down, and sat, disguising the fact that her feet would no longer hold her with weariness. "But Lania..." She forced herself to say it. "Lania died. Surely her weapon perished with her."
And the dark presense grew stronger.

Xaria sat down beside Taania. She figured she liked this Jedi...but so much darkness seemed to be enfolding them. And what's wrong with Eisley? We must speak about this...but maybe alone. It was a vague question in the Force.
The story of Taania and Lania she had mostly pieced together from what other said, but; "I would suggest finding this Lania. We all know what it's like to resist the dark side. Someone must be able to help her."
Unless Cluge and Taania want to do this alone. That'll leave me and Eisley to face her demons...heh, at least I feel relatively normal.
Xaria tried to send her own calm center out to them, wary though of what it migh bring with it. Her lightsaber lay in her lap.

Events run like rivers, unpredictable, and quite prepared to sweep you right off your feet if you don't pay attention....
It was something her brother used to say, and it seemed to fit the moment. Jend fingered her staff and stood silently, trying to sift out each new bit of information as it was shared, and piece it all together. It certainly made one confusing and rather unbinding puzzle.
She knew that Lania was Cluge's mother (though she was still not quite sure how that worked) but was pretty well lost from there on. Another thing Thy used to say... 'Don't put your head in the wasp's nest if you don't want to get stung.'
The trail of thought that followed was no pleasant one, so she abandoned it without much more than a second thought, and turned her bit of attention left back to the conversation at hand.

Eisley laid a gentle hand on Tiana's shoulder. "Master Elass perhaps you'd like to come in my ship, get something to eat or rest?" Her eyes were drawn over to her Padawan. Tiana knew more about Xaria's feelings than she did. "I'm sure you and your Padawans must be tired." The exhaustion was prevalent in the atmosphere, almost as thick as the Dark Side.

((I'm TAANIA. Tiana's in Paint Wars, and you do NOT WANT HER IN THIS RPG. Go read Paint Wars on fanfic.net. Trust me on this one...))
"The Darkside is so strong here," Taania mumbled, mind seeking out the source. "I cannot leave." She shook her head hard, attempting to clear out the ringing taint of something darker than it seemed. She turned her eyes to Xaria for a moment, then over to Jendana and Cluge. "But food would probably be a wise idea, and rest. Especially the latter. My lightsaber was destroyed in the crash."
Besides, I'd like to speak further to all these people. There's something going on here that's darker than it seems...

Cluge pulled out Lathania's lightsabre. "Then please take this one until you get a replacement." Cluge put down the lightsabre next to her on the ground and sat beside her. "What was she like? Before she was turned."

o O (Yeah sorry, my fingers weren't cooperating that night. Check out my new siggy-Sweet huh??)
Eisley motioned to Xaria to follow her back into the ship so that Taania could spend some time with her Padawans. "Would you like to help me prepare them some food? There's dishes in that cabinet there." Even though she was a Master Eisley preferred to let Xaria start the conversation.

"Oh...certainly. Though I don't know if what I can cook would be any good to Temple standards." Xaria laughed weakly. It started as thoughts, but she figured her Master should hear everything now. "A darkness lies over this meeting. But for once I feel above it."

Taania was silent for a long while, and finally took the well used lightsaber from where it sat on the ground and clipped it to her belt. "Quite a Jedi," she finally said, softly. "Cared for those she trusted with her life, but was very willing to hide behind a mask. I... I never would've thought she would die. She seemed too powerful for that-- I suppose she was, if it was that power that saved her."
The Jedi winced. "I never would've thought she would turn, though. She seemed beyond that. She tended to be quiet most of the time-- maybe she was hiding something... I don't know." Taania sighed, and closed her eyes. "It's been far too long."

Eisley nodded and pulled out several freeze-dried food packages. "Darkness clouds everything these days. You just need to learn to look past what you don't understand. But sometimes this can be dangerous if you're not careful. Is there anything you want to talk about Xaria? You seem somewhat distant." She leaned against the counter and looked at her Padawan. There was so much neither of them knew.
