To become a Jedi Knight or Sith Lord/Lady, you must pass the trials. Same with a Master.
Thus the rules for the trials are as follows.
You must pass two to five tests that have nothing to do with RPG. They must be clean and unhurtful, even if you are a Sith. Example, no flaming, swearing, whatever. (I gave DT the task of using the darkside to force-convince someone to use a signature)
Then you must RPG out the rest of your trials on this thread by whichever Master will be giving you your trials. This must be at least five posts long and test your skills with writing using the Force, and prove that you are worthy to be a Master, Lord, Knight, whatever. Duel a Jedi, escape a chasm of doom, or something.
And there are the rules.
If I have to, I'll pull out Tiana's trials from RPG, if I can find it, just to prove. She ended up sacrificing herself for trials. Fighting a Sith for Obi-Wan was his trials. Have an idea of what this is about now?
And remember, it's all in fun...

I believe so. I've been thinking about stuff for you to do, and have come up with a few ideas. «clears throat all master-like» For the First part of the First part of your trials, Commander, I would like you to tell me, in detail, why the Greyside exists. This is important, if you are to uphold its virtues as a practitioner in the particular area of the Force.
Once you have completed this small part of the Trials, you may return and receive your next instructions. Luck to you!

Since this is the trials thread, could Varikan give me my trials now?

*clears throat* Certainly.
The Grayside exists because it is the Force without bias, plain and simple. The Grayside exists because the Force exists.
The philosophy of the Grayside is that The Force is neutral, neither light nor dark, and that it reflects what it finds in you - like your reflection on the surface of water; also that those emotions that it finds - including anger and rage - can be used for good or evil purposes, depending on the root of the emotion.
Do you want more detail, Dun?

Nice. Don't think I could have put it any better myself. I have to find the rest of what I wrote down for you... but consider the first complete.

First thing I have to say.... you Potato goon is looking at me.
Okay, second stage of the first five, or whatever. You must prove to me and ME:I that you are definitely a Greysider. Since the greyside is the more... randomish side of the Force, combining elements of both Dark and Light sides to compliment the personality and talent range of the pracitioner, this shouldn't be too difficult for you. And, since I believe that I don't need to outline everything for you, because you are not a child, I shall leave the methods up to you.
When you have decided on how you will prove this, post your methods here, and I shall watch for them. Have fun, or whatever...

These are your tests, Darth.
Go and exalt five people with less than 10 posts. PM me their names.
Try and convince an admin (not me) that you need to be a moderator on any board. Do not reveal that it is part of your trials. Simply try as hard as you can to convince a moderator that you need to be a moderator of whichever board you frequent most, or like most. You may use one of your aliases for this purpose, if they have more posts and if you have any. PM me the results. If one refuses, try the others.
Find out the real identities of five aliases.

I'll take the Trials under Tiana due to my lack of Master, forcing the Adminn to think of more and creative ways to make people work. QUOET: "Then you must RPG out the rest of your trials on this thread by whichever Master will be giving you your trials. This must be at least five posts long and test your skills with writing using the Force, and prove that you are worthy to be a Master, Lord, Knight, whatever. Duel a Jedi, escape a chasm of doom, or something." ~Tiana RP how exactly? As a member-character, or in one of the current games??

As a member-character. I'll prove NPCs and situations. (grins) In this thread, exactly.

RP the remainder of your trials now that you've passed your tests... get out a virtual lightsaber. Heh heh.
