Name: Kaklyn Huurad Nickname: none Age: 17 standard Height: 5'6" Weight:135 lbs. Hair: black Eyes: yellow-green Sex: female Caste: ambassador/warrior Ritual scars, etc.: Kaklyn has, like her mother Vhievv, fought an ii’krana beast and implanted one of it’s short, unicorn-type horns in the center of her forehead. A stripe of yellow and black tattoo runs from the left side of her jaw to the hairline on the right, coming up between her eyes. The spikes of vonduun armor have grown on her elbows and ankles, and a few battle swirls of combat against bioengineered animals (the shapers have created some beast-tests for warriors to prove their worth, instead of slaughtering each other as used to be the custon). Homeworld: her mother’s worldship , Bloodprice Alignment: Light-gray Clothing: loose, simple tunics and skirts of Zonaman plant material, gauntlets and leg guards of vonduun crab armor weapon: amphistaff inventory: her weapon, a journal, always something from Zonama Sekot when she is offworld, villip communicator Possessions: her own apartment on Sekot, a coralskipper Personality: Kaklyn’s father always prompted her to be comfortable with other species of ‘infidel’ sentients and therefor she never was untill an adventure with Cy Skywalker and other Jedi. Toward tho se she is comfortable with she is pleasant, quick to joke, with not so much an enjoyment of but indifference toward the morals and complications of combat. She is intelligent, careful of culture and culture shock, and somewhat shy around other beings who she is not sure how they will respond to her very existence as a representative of the Yuuzhan Vong. She tries to maintain an obvious confidence and normalcy around new people, from experience. Her opinions on the rebel or old-ways YV range from deep anger, assertion of their utter stupidity, and complete indifference.
Skills: tact in diplomacy, languages, combat mostly with the amphistaff
weaknesses: her xenophobia or rigidity of thinking could complicate situations. She believes in the Yuuzhan Vong gods but is experiencing the same faith-shaking as the entire society.

One thing: in caste it says he's a warrior/assassin, and at the bottom that he's a master shaper. I don't think there would be that much crossover..both sets of training take masses of time.

Real name: Tyrsis Illian Nickname: (None) Age: 20 Standard Height: 6'-0" Weight: 180 pounds Hair: Dark Brown Eyes: One grey, one white Sex: Male Caste: Warrior/Ambassador (Does ambassador work on the side but tends to hate it.) Ritual scars, etc.: Mass scarring to face, plaeryin bol, sharpened teeth and tatoos just below his hairline. All in all giving him a distinctly reptillian look. He also is starting to grow some new enhancements. Home world: Yuuzhan’tar/Coruscant Alignment: Neutral- but more on the darker side. Yuuzhan Vong can NOT be Force-users. Clothing: Black vonduun crab armor and living cloak and hood. Weapon: amphistaff, coufee and a couple thud bugs for good measure. Possessions: villip communicator Personality: Xenophobic and mistrusting, Tyrsis is a fairly difficult ambassador to deal with. He usually he is too ridged in his beleifs and has a unwavering distrust of other species and even his own at times. He enjoys being alone and hates being bothered with trivial matters. Skills: Swift and skilled with his amphistaff, adept at hiding and stealth Weaknesses: Tyrsis is not trusting even of other Y. Vong. He is also a renegade somewhat, doing what he thinks is right. From time to time he get hallucinations which usually they come at the worst possible time, stemming from high stress and adrenaline (which means in a fight he'd probably have one). He is quite afraid of the jedi, often making tactical mistakes whenever a lightsaber comes into view.

I've been reading up, and I think I can volunteer. You'll have to bear with me, though... I've never done SW RP, or any sci-fi RPG for that matter. And I'm going to try to modify an original character for this one. So yell at me when I screw up, okay? ; ) Real name: Dublik Seannahadh Nickname: Heth (This name has no significance to the story other than that it was her brother’s nonsense name for her. It is significant to me as a writer because of its real-life meaning: fear. She is called Dublik; Heth is what she calls herself, since her brother used that name.) Age: 15 standard Height: 5’5” Weight: 120 lbs. Hair: Darkish brown Eyes: Grey Sex: Female Caste: Slave Ritual scars, etc.: Tattooing in blue across her arms and neck. Scarring is a result of self-mutilation, but has little ritual significance to her. Home world: Yuuzhan’tar/Coruscant Alignment: Neutral, tending to light Clothing: Plain tunic, simple grey/brown mottled Weapon: none Possessions: A plain, black ring that belonged to her mother; a polished rock that her brother gave her, chipped to a sharp edge along one side. Personality: Her whole being is characterized by paralyzing fear and anxiety. A frightening or intimidating situation, person, thing, or idea completely dominates her brain, blocking her reasoning ability and physical control. She was slowly learning to deal with these problems with her brother’s help. At this point, she is simply surviving. The loss of her family has made her personality darker with more violent tendencies than might otherwise have been. If I knew her, I would attempt to help by exploring three issues: 1) Her need to manage her fear by being in control. 2) Her need to deal with her probable guilt over the death of her mother and the disappearance of her brother. 3) Her need to remember her father by reliving her experience of him. Also significant is the fact that her brother is the one who first introduced her to pain as a way of maintaining control over her body. Ever since she was a small child, frightening and/or stressful situations caused her to stop breathing, often until she blacked out. Her brother constantly observed her behavior, always with the goal of helping her. He found that she always became tense and rigid just before losing control, and gave her the sharpened stone to hold in her pocket. As she began to clench her fist, the pain would remind her to breath, allowing her to maintain control of the situation. Now she uses the stone to gash her arms and legs. For her, this has very little meaning other than as a means to survival. She uses the pain to distract from her more intense emotional suffering and to relax her mind and body each night. As mentioned above, I would guess that this is also reminiscent of her father. He was her only unquestioned authority figure, and her method for understanding and ordering her life is therefore dependent on his manner of controlling and instructing her. She is loyal to trusted people and ideas. Unfortunately, her brother is the only thing in which she ever put faith. Weaknesses/Strengths: This depends on who you are talking to. Some people would probably say that all of her characteristics are weaknesses. ; ) In trying to analyze objectively, her sensitive, emotional nature is probably a good thing. It shows itself in compassion, and causes her to internalize her insecurity and frustration rather than becoming violent. When you consider her circumstances, though, this strength looks more like vulnerability. Her more refined senses are constantly shocked, and her delicate emotional state contributes to her fear and anxiety, increasing her feelings of inferiority. Her quiet, respectful behavior rarely wins her any friends, but is instead seen and used as another way to take advantage. She is a hothouse flower: delicate and easily crushed, and, to some, not worth the effort of preserving. Playing a slave/servant character is best done in one of two ways: 1) Writing two characters that play off of eachother’s storyline. 2) Working with another writer. I’m leaning toward number two…*smiles sweetly at Faust and Red Five* ; ) At this point I’ve obviously given you more information than you want…but there is yet more! *chuckleth* I have her history, as well…but I’d rather incorporate it into the story if you don’t need it. In my experience, most people are willing to accept a non-standard character if she has a detailed, playable story…so that’s what I’m going for, here!

Ok, that all sounds good. So a slave to the YV would be a Shamed One or something , but after the war the Shamed Ones were mostly freed...but Dublik could very easily have kept to the life she was used to. You can latch on to one or both of us if you need to. Very nice characterization bty; sounds to be a good OF. And thanks for adding to the population.

I'm gonna modify the "in-depth" character sheet for us, so we can have those, cause they're useful (even though i don't always read all of them.)

Coolness... Faust, sorry I haven't really started off yet. I'll follow your lead, if you don't mind...? I'm a little shy starting in on this, since I really don't know very much about the time period...
