Boba Fett needs to get together with Samus Aran. To continue the offtopic video game discussion.

Since I don't know who she is, it'd be perfectly fine if they got married. XP.

There usually is...formulaic, obvious. I am trying to write around that too. Not sure why romance is so popular. Because teens are emotion-leeches?

Because humanity in general is one massive emotion-leech? I don't know. There are a lot of good stories out there with romance as a major plot point, mind you, but there are also some remarkably good stories without any of it at all.

I don't know. It comes at a different age for some people, the love of romance. In my opinion, it's sweet. (shrugs) It makes me grin, because it's predictable. There are some good stories with no romance at all, or very little... LotR, for one. But it's also a very cute adition in some places.
(flatly) I certainly write enough of it to be able to speak in its favor... (glare at Jandalf)

Whaaaaaaaat? Writing and reading are two different things. (grins) And it just has its place. In a story featuring Boba Fett, I would be extremely disappointed indeed to find some kind of romantic subplot.

I have to say that Boba fett isn't that cool. He just walks around with his little gun. I like the jedi who have real SKILL.

LOL, I agree with Goober. But you gotta admit, the guy is scary - he's a walking arsenal! I saw this dude in the store the other day who looked just like Jango Fett. Scared me half to death.
Because people try to live vicariously thru stories. By writing/reading romance characters, they're getting what they wish they had thru the characters. .... Does that make any sense....?

Whaaaaaaaat? Writing and reading are two different things. (grins) And it just has its place. In a story featuring Boba Fett, I would be extremely disappointed indeed to find some kind of romantic subplot. But in the meantime, Elachi and Ariane have utmost freedom to make out? Snrk... (hides from wrath) Right... this is off topic. But, you're right. Boba can't fall in love. HE CAN'T!!
