"I'm sorry that things got a little carried away, and you got left behind." Rin said, apologizing. "I think that once you get used to it, you'll like it here," Giving Kira a smile, she turned to listen to the stranger's tour of her ship.

"Uh, well, the gadgets, they're um used to... Well they're just useful for space travel is all!" Silvrae was caught a little off guard, most people were too awed by the weirdness of the mechanics to question her purpose. "Anyway, its just me and the krii in space, the ship is small, and all we do is... travel... nothing too elaborate. So i think we should examine the front, where i beleive the majority of the problem is and work from there?"

Cy wanted to know, because the Force --or maybe my own obsession told her this was interesting/important, but in no case did she want to anger the Chiss further. Solitary, angry being as Silvrae was. So, she circled around the front of the large ship, trying to gauge it's condition outside the crash damage. "Just looks banged up from the landing to me."

A comet streaked across the sky of the Yavin moon. Beautiful, but short-lived. However, this one didn't burn out. It kept going. Down, closer and nearer. The space debris struck the ground 12 kilometers from the Academy, but there was no sound. No aftershock, no vibration in the crust of any kind. Little did anyone know that an intruder had arrived.
Sev landed on his "feet" harder than he would have liked, but he made not a sound. Good. As he wanted. He would make his way to the Academy as a native preadator, fast and silent. He approached the Academy in naught but a few minutes. He hid in the bushes to change his image again from Preadator to the hopeful. He stepped out from the shrubbey as Anakin skywalker, right before the clone wars.

((I'm posting again. I waited a whole day.))
Sev walked up towards the group and tried to get one's attention. Cy, if he heard right.
"Excuse me, But where might I find master Skywalker? My name's Kris, I just arrived."
Once he got a scan of her face, her did a search on her. Cy Skywalker: Daughter of Luke and Mara Skywalker. Weapon Jedi Lightsabre. Threat: 37%

"JUST a little banged up?? I had to land didnt I? Surely THaT says there's a problem rigt there, no?" Slivrae cast a quick glance at the newcomer suspiciously... "WHaT is the meaning of sneaking up like that?? Who are you?" Not that it was exactly her place to question people on this planet, but life had tought her get all the facts, and let nothing slip through the cracks... She didn't like her predicament to begin with, and the growing population of strangers wasn't making her more comfortable... The krii bounded up to Silvrae's side, eyes alert, body tense, hus letting Silvrae know everything she needed to-- This stranger was no laughing matter, the fact that he had appeared so suddenly from nowhere instantly had the krii and Silvrae on guard. Perfection like that was too unnatural... <oh btw: do you have a char sheet somewhere darthsauron?? i was just looking around but didnt see it... or was i not looking hard enough? srry> (Cy: Added commas where u needed them, deleted personal history where i didn't. Goop? )

Cy put her hands on her hips. This...man had no sense at all, no feeling or emotion, but the whispers told her he was something, and wanted to remain unknown. Seemed like wierd beings were dropping out of the sky lately...literally. "Master Luke is in front of the temple." Cy said. "But I can help you." The commwatchers must be going crazy... it was probably Eeth up at the comm station, he liked to do things like that. She was feeling the prickles of danger--not to her, but to the others--with all this strange intrusion on their very planet. <<darthsauron, I hope I am right that you are all droid and not cyborg or something. And honestly, 37%? *grr* Luke is, as far as I know, still standing about by the front of the temple. *shrug* Disappeared...>>

Rin gaped at this young man. She hadn't even sensed him come up, and even now, he seemed, odd. There was something about him, that reminded her of when she was around machinery. He wasn't a droid.... A thought popped into her head that made her gasp. Is it possible, this could be a human replica droid??? Her breathing quickened. She had heard about these droids, called HRD's but they were extremely rare. Rin would give anything to see one, or to look at a technical readout of one's systems. Before she could stop herself, she had blurted out, "Are you a HRD?" Her cheeks flushed with embarrassment. Force, I must look like an idiot. She though, dropping her gaze to stare at a suddenly very interesting fern.

((Thanks cy!))
"Thank you, Cy-raxx. Your help would be appreciated." The he turned to the other. He did a search on his records, but found nothing. She must be new. I need an answer to her question. Engage program 'story builder'. His mind calculated a story that sounded beliveable, and would be supported by facts. "No, I am not a HRD. Though I am similiar. I am from a war torn race that nearly wiped itself out with biochemical weapons, and then we realized that the only way that our culture would survive this enemy in our bodies was to lose them completly. Our lead scientists discovered a way to program our brains into the nueral pathways of holo-emmitters, and that is how we survive today. As a walking ghost as you might say. That is why you might not sense me. I am merely a projector with a personality now. Nothing more." I think she will buy that one. I would have.

Rin's eyes went wide, then she asked, "Nothing more, but... well," She scrambled for words, then they are came like a rushing flood, "What planet are you from? How do you make your projections seem so opaque? Was that comet in the sky your ship? How do you move?" She would have asked more questions but held her tounge when she realized she was not waiting for answers.

((Too many questions! AAAAAAHHHH! I'll try to answer them.))
"The name of my planet is not pronouncable in basic, but I would just as not tell you due to its citizens being hunted down for their thechnological knowledge. And my emmitter is more advanced than you might possibly imagine. And that Comet you saw was not a ship, but just a projection around me to protect my re-entry to this planet. And finally, I am able to accomplish bipedal locomotion, concentrating my image with enough intensity to make it stand, sit, hold and touch. Like so." He then put a hand on her shoulder and gave it a gentle squeeze. "I am real and not real at the same time." He lowered his hand then asked, "Now I have a question. Are all Humans this inquisitive?"

Post by Dûncariel is Dead. on Sept 1, 2005 21:45:57 GMT -5
The first sensation she felt as she opened her eyes was the air in the room moving around her, shifting currents nearly imperceptible, but to her hightened senses. She blinked lazily, but it was merely by force of habit, to make others around her more comfortable.
Nixxa Jhey was blind.
She stretched her arms out to their full length above her head, then uncoiled her legs from underneath her, bringing them up underneath her chin. It wasn't exactly that she couldn't see, she just saw differently than others. She could vaguely remember a time of complete blindness, when all she had to rely on were her natural instincts -- sounds, smells, feelings. The memory sent a shiver up the Jedi's spine. That darkness had been horrible, compared to what she experienced now. Someone had surely blessed her. Her parents had brought her to the Jedi sometime before she could really remember. Nixx had decided long ago that they had not wanted to deal with a child such as her. A girl who would never truly be accepted because of her apparent disability. It made her laugh now, bitterly, but she still laughed.
With the Force she could see more than any other, feel what others could not, experience what lie beyond their physical abilities. Her blindness was nothing to her. If anything, she had decided, sight would be a hinderance.
She stood up, stretching each muscle as she did, slowly easing up off the floor with natural grace. She felt the room around her, the angle of the floor as compared with the walls, the movement of the air as she stood, the quiet shuffle of her feet as she began walking toward the door. She pulled the deep hood up over her white-blonde hair as she moved, completely covering her staring eyes. It mattered little to her, but she prefered if the people around her were not nervous. The emotions they emitted did odd things to her strange sight.
The door opened softly before her, and she strode off toward the building's exit, her feet making barely any sound as she moved. She passed a person here or there, gave a brief nod, and continued on, following a push from the Force that had come as she had sat, deep in Meditation.
She smiled as the sun hit her face at the fore of the Temple. No, whatever people said, life was good.

<So what, erm, happened to Luke?>
Cy watched the new arrival's 'eyes'. "Why this planet?" She asked, though she knew he was tiring of questions. "There's been to many landings. It doesn't make sense." I have a bad feeling about this...
Watching out for Silvrae's creature--she would surely have been more alarmed if it hadb't looked so much like an upgrade of Eeth's species--Cy cointinued to glance at the crashed ship's systems. It's propulsion would be powerful...but there wasn't an obvious power source. She would have to question the Chiss more extensilvely. If these were the kind of ships they were forging in the Unknown Regions now, she would have to take a trip out there.

((What creature?))
The Objectives clicked in his head again:
1. Personality
Here was a good place to observe different types and select the one that suits him most.
2: Discover everything about Luke Skywalker.
Now was not the best time to speak to him, so he needed a different way.
"Rin, may you please tell me where I may meet Master Skywalker privately so I can discuss my application here at the Academy."
