Zonama: a hyperspace-capable planet that floats about the galaxy (currently at the Coreward edge of the Unknown Regions). It is temperate, battle-scarred, and the residence of the Ferroan and Yuuzhan Vong cultures. Much of the planet is covered by forests of semisentient boras trees. The Yuuzhan Vong settlement is based around a cliffside fortress in the "Middle Distance"; north-western hemisphere.
Sekot: The intelligent mind housed in the planet Sekot. It is a being with the depth and emotion of a more recgonizable sentient. A planet-mind of its type was the homeworld of the Yuuzhan Vong. Sekot can appear to Jedi or chosen people in various forms, usually of people they have known in the past.

Midmorning in the Middle Distance. Some stars still shone palely in the west, but the night had lost none of the previous day’s sweltering humid heat, so with the rising sun the sticky temperature had risen again. The small river running beside the cliffs of the Yuuzhan Vong fortress-home was a frigid refuge in comparison, though not graced by many at this hour. Kaklyn Huurad swam with slow strokes in one of the deeper sections of the river, thanking her gods for the encompassing coolness and the ability to enjoy it. Her clothes, a long, living tunic tied over the right shoulder and loose Ferroan-woven breeches, clung to her skin when she stood and scanned the sky. The sun told her it was time to leave, when many people would be awakening. A privilege really, to look into space and feel no bitter resentment. She climbed out onto the bank atop which the dirt road back to the compound she called home was built, appreciating the residual water against her skin, though it clung like the tentacles of a tsua’sa. She had no weapons at the moment; there were no dangerous animals in these populated areas, and against people she figured she could hold her own well enough, or talk her way out of anything. She walked casually, watching the sides of the dirt path

"Nice day out, isn't it?" A voice spoke out from behind her. The voice was soft and smooth, yet of course the bearer wasn't as attractive by human standards. "I see you went for a swim, I was thinking of doing that as well."
A young Yuuzhan Vong of about 20 years old was on the path. He had a long flowing cloak on, it gently twisted and flapped even without the wind. His face was calm and his eyes were on her, in actuallity it was only one eye since he was blind in one.
((If your wondering think a Viggo (Aragorn) like voice for Tyrsis))

Kaklyn quickly turned. "Oh, hello." She said, and shrugged. This male was admirably scarred, and she had not seen him before. "It's nice enough. Too hot though. There's no reason you can't swim now, though other people'll be coming soon. You are...a warrior, correct?" Caste regulation was ingrained in the Yuuzhan Vong culture, though now caste was more a polite question, like asking a name, than something to determine whether you would--or could-- talk to someone or not.

"Yes I am." He said. "And you are too, are you not?" He asked, though he knew the answer already. "I was planning on swimming, yet I knew more people would come. People make me uneasy." He explained.
"So, what is your name, if you don't mind my asking?"

"I am...a warrior and am ambassador. Kaklyn, domain Huurad. You are...?"People. She thought, with more grim humor. She could understand the need to be alone, but to a point. "Maybe we can find you a more sheltered place."

"Tyrsis, Illian," He said. "And yes, it would be nice to get away to a sheltered place, er... Kaklyn, was it?"
He walked forwards and met up with the femal Yuuzhan Vong. "I've recently started my works as an ambassador as well." He told her. "Though I hate it."

She laughed harshly. "I never did either...but why, may I ask? The other beings? Or us?"

"Mostly everybody." He explained. "But mostly the other beings. I dislike the arguments, the bickering, both the Yuuzhan Vong and every other being is guilty of that."

"Yes..." Deep thoughts did not go well with the weather, and Kaklyn was becoming more and more aware as they walked along the river that it was away from everyone else. Was alone with Tyrsis a good idea? "It's like meetings always turn into arguements. The lucky ones just talk." She smiled, carefully. "I've been an ambassador to the Jedi for, a while."

Tyrsis flinched. "The Jedi, yes." He said, he didn't enjoy their presence around him, they made him edgy.
He also felt Kaklyn wasn't comfortable with him there. To releive the pressure he decided on giving her a compliment. "Thats a nice horn." He told her. "I take it you got it from some beast?"

"So you say it like they do. Hm, my father says that's admirable, though he's a little crazy. Speaks Basic and all." She inclined her head, certainly glad he had noticed the disfigurement she prided herself on. "An ii'krana beast. I fought it in front of my mother, to begin my warrior status. Mother had a ring of them."

"Ah." He said. "When I was accepted I got this..." He pointed to his white eye. "Too bad its unable to see with."
He shrugged as he continued walking. His cape swirled around him artfully. "Was the fight hard?" He asked. "Or did it seem easy to you?"

"What happened? I would not chose to show my loyalty by changing something that could make me weaker. Could've you not replaced the eye?" The river valley was widening, overshadowed by boras and coolness. "Here...this place is deep enough to swim. The fight...it was a time ago. I felt very strong, in a way, commited to the gods and to my purpose in life. But it was hard, yes. The ii'krana--do they make them anymore, the shapers? I wouldn't imagine Sekot has a use for their wild state. They are fast creatures, many legs, many horns. I have more, accidental scars. But it was defeated eventually."

Tyrsis nodded at the end of the her story. "I see."
"What happened," He said, taking off his cloak and shirt, revealing even more scarring and even the slight mutilation of his left arm. "Was that I had to fight in a caged battle between another Yuuzhan Vong and myself. He took out my eye with his amphistaff, but won in the end." He touched his white eye gently with his fingers. "I had a plaeryin bol inserted into the socket. Do you know what a plaeryin bol is?"

Kaklyn nodded, outwardly appalled, inwardly sour and impressed. "I do. You fought another...it must have been, a long time ago. Before the end of the war...they don't do things like that now, do they?" Something inside her shuddered, as something else waited to see just how strong, how exotically accomplished Tyrsis was. This particular something she found annoying, and instead of going further with it stepped down to the water and put one foot in it, relishing the co.olness around her ankle.

Tyrsis walked down after Kaklyn and walked into the water until it was up to his waist. "Mmm, feels good." He said to himself.
"I was inducted into the warrior class a short time before the end of the war." He explained, soaking his long black hair. "I fought, but not as long as many other Yuuzhan Vong did. I'm no veteran." He pulled his hair from the water and it fell around his shoulders.
"So you are correct, they don't hold matches between two of use anymore." He said, a slight smile playing on his lips. "I was one of the last to be initiated that way."

Kaklyn sighed. "Of course.
<<*pause* ...they replaced co.ol with 'spiffy'. I am going to complain.>>
Of course." She ran a hand through the water. "I have fought many people, but either in training or against, well, a rebel. And he was killed by Sekot itself." She paused, wondering, taking a chance. "Have you ever fought the Jeedai?"She said, without inflection.

Tyrsis flinched visibly. After composing himself he responded. "Yes." He said simply. "And the battle did not go well in my favor."
The statement "go well" was an understatement to say the least. The battle was a disaster and a disgrace on his name. He had been left for dead, legs crushed, burnt and bleeding. He was rescued by his fellow Yuuzhan Vong days later when he was praying for death instead of the agonizing pain, trapped under a fallen column of stone.

Kaklyn met his eyes, thought of the poison and kept looking. "I'm sorry. They do no harm to us now." I wonder... "My mother was killed by a Jedi, and now I have friends among them." She laughed, again, thinking it repetitive and harsh but how else to honorably deal? "I travel to their temple often. If you ever wished to... see them now, I can take you there. But of course, no one wishes to relive the past like that I guess." Feeling the sun warm her back, she knelt into the water.
