I've played the demo, too, and it's very fun! Just need to convince Ma and Pa to let me buy it. Not an easy task.

*sigh* I don't think my parents will get it for me... and I don't have enough money to buy it myself... I wish I had Jedi Academy, though... then we could, like, plan an online game or something... Hey, does anyone have DF2: JK? 'Cause, despite the terrible graphics, it has online multi-player...
AGH! stupid RANCOR! *covers ears* Nobody tell me! Nobody tell me! I'll figure it out! I can do it myself! *growls* stupid rancor... killed Mission... and Big Z... and Carth... and ME! *starts crying*

HeeheeHEE... yeah.
No, I don't have DF2... or DF1... mutter...
JA IS GREAT, just very hard for me to play. *throws up*
Stupid rancor, YES! Augh. You know, the only reason I got it was because I watched my sibs... do you read the datapads? Because you should've picked one up that'll clue you in. DON'T CRY! *hugs Padawan* Explosives will work on it, as a hint... just don't think typically... it takes a lot of gernades to kill it, but you can manage it with less... effort... loss...

Redrose and I got some major $$ for dogsitting for our neighbor, so we pooled together our funds and bought "Star Wars: Battlefront" for the PS2. It's a lot of fun! You get to be a soldier from either the Rebel, Empire, Clone, or Droid army and fight to take command of various planets from the films. Of course, Red and I being psychotic, we find our own "sidequests." We spent half an hour hunting down tauntauns on Hoth one day, and another lobbing bombs at Sand People. (meanwhile the rest of our army was fighting in an epic battle.. Red and I are standing on a rock shooting tauntauns. Needless to say, we didn't win any awards for bravery in that particular battle.) We're so mean.

Yah, that rancor...had to read my datapad a few times to figure that out.
Battlefront is so much fun! I really like it for some reason... played it on X-Box. Being republic soldiers with jetpacks is fun!

*sigh* I READ the datapad! I'm not sure if I have enough grenades... I... I... *sighs again* I'll figure it out eventually. Maybe Mission can lure it into a mine or something... Specifically Mission, since she's the only one with any demolitions experience on my team... But Force is that thing HUGE!
Speaking of which, I just finished reading The Courtship of Princess Leia...

That is the BEST SW book ever. I managed to borrow the first Dark Empire comic from the library... cool book...
It only takes one gernade. BOOM!

I played the demo of Lego Star Wars, impressed by the brick-style cutscenes and good controls, but I just see myself getting bored with it after awhile.

One grenade, my nose! (don't ask!)
IT TOOK ME ABOUT TEN GRENADES! Well, at least I got past the Rancor! I went into solo mode, and went just outside the opening to the room. I threw a grenade, then turned and hid in the dorrway until he gave up looking for me (which didn't take long!). It took me several grenades to take him down, but I didn't lose any health!
Now I need to figure out how to get through the Vulkar base...

I'm considering getting "Jedi Academy." It looks fun, and you guys seem to enjoy it. Now I just have to decide if a) I spend enough time on the computer that could handle the software for it to be worth it, and b) if I want to pay the money. Man, I'm cheap.
In other news, Redrose and I have been having quite a fun time on Star Wars: Battlefront. She's played it more than I have, so she's got more experience than me, but it's still fun. Here's actual dialogue between Maeg and Redrose while playing battlefront:
M: So what planet should we take over next? All we've got left is Yavin 4 and Bespin.
R: Let's do Yavin 4 now. Then we can just blow up Bespin.
M: *stunned silence*
M: *impressed* We can do that!?
R: Yep.
M: Sweet!
//We always play the evil doers. I wonder if that says something about our mental states....// *Later... on Hoth.* R: TAUNTAUN! *Rerose's character leaves the Rebel Shield Generator to chase after a random tauntaun*
M: HEY! We have to destroy the rebel shield thingie!
R: TAUNAUN! *shoots tauntaun* Woo hoo! That's five! Stupid tauntaun!
*Maeg gets blasted by rebel guarding sheild generator*
*Later... on Naboo*
M: Sheez, these gungans are disturbing!
A.I. GUNGAN: Something's coming! Something's coming! Somethig's coming!...
R: *Prepares to shoot gungan but is distracted by the bald tauntaun-looking monster that runs by* TAUNTAUN! *runs after and shoots tauntaun thing*
M: RED, NO! COVER ME! *Maeg gets blasted by gungan*
A.I. GUNGAN: Meesa win!
R: HA! Stupid bald tauntaun!
*Later... on Endor*
A.I. COMMANDER: Protect the shield bunker!
A.I. STORMTROOPERS: Yes sir! Right away sir! etc... *all troopers run to shield bunker. All except...*
M: *kicks trooper ally off speeder bike* WOO HOO! *drives speeder around in a tiny circle*
R: EWOK! *runs after ewoks*
We have fun. Although it usually ends with one of us dying.

LOL! Heh, I enjoy JA immensely. It's pretty but plotless. You gotta use the rancor smelly stuff in the severed arm...i think...typical Lucasfilm. Ugh. Severed limbs. sorry.

I have SW:BF, too, but my comp is a little slow. It takes 10 min to cap a base on Yavin! And it's so choppy online you can't ride a speeder without a random tree getting in the way.

*dies laughing* Meag! That's... crazy! (in a good way, of course) *is incredably amused*
When D. A. and I play the RotK game we actually start fighting with each other (not on the computer, but phisically) when one of us gets more kills than the other... Too competitive, I know. But I don't start it!! I just sit there and constantly shoot every guy on the screen. Yah... On the "Southern Gate" level we make sure we kill everything... Yes, the orcs do stop coming... eventually... YESSSS!!!!! DIE STUPID ORC!!!
