Vanacoriel, you're related to Orlando Bloom? Stinks to be you, since you can't like marry him or anything.
Trinity wants to marry him. . .
Alot of people want to . .
Alright, I WANT TO REALLY REALLY BADLY!!
Anyways BACK TO TOPIC, At the moment I say LOTR is better than Star Wars * hides in elvish pants* only because I've never watched Star Wars! * hides in a cardboard box with elvish pants*

Big Fan of both movies. Am more of a Lord of the Rings fan. A rabid one. Like a dog with rabies i will stalk the amazing people behind the movies and books till i die and spit no longer froths out of my mouth. Do you get the general picture? For star wars its more of a " I LOVE THAT MOVIE! I WOULD MARRY VADER IF I HAD THE CYHANCE BUT I DONT". LotR is more like " I will marry Merry. PERIOD> END OF DEBATE"

AUGH! NOOO!! PLEASE NO!
*ahem*
Yes, stay away from combining them. That would be disastrous. LOTR is good as it is. I can't say the same for SW, as I haven't see the whole of the last, therefoooooore...

...Combined as in a serious story, you mean? Because if you are also referring to combining the two in a spoof... Then alas, I have committed blasphemy. HAH!! PPPPPBBBTTHHH!!! (cough LINKcough)

Have to say I like LOTR more than Star Wars. I mean, I love Star Wars, but for some reason LOTR has been my obsession, pretty much since I saw it. All those years ago. Actually... 1022 days ago. See? How sad is that?? When I first saw LOTR, I loved it. When I first saw Star Wars (the Phantom Menace) I was only 11, and all I remember thinking was "Oooh, pwiddy bubble city", "Jar-Jar is VERY ANNOYING", "Wow, Obi-Wan's hot..." and "Why the hell are there those weird barriers stopping the fight between the red guy and the nice guy?? What the hell are they FOR?!" And that's pretty much what I think about it now, too. The Star Wars prequel trilogy doesn't even compare to LOTR (they need to work on the script a bit - "I wish I could just wish these feelings away!" *coughmanthatsuckscough*), but the sequel trilogy is similar in fabbyness. However, the first time I saw 'A New Hope' was slightly ruined, considering my friend was concentrating more on her Monsters Inc cereal, calling "Oooh, a Boo one!", and when Luke was trying to blow up the death star (oh, whoops, DEATH STAR) she kept poking me with her foot and giggling. LOTR has better actors (ducks from rabid Star Wars fans) - but ep 3 Anakin certainly looks nice... eeeee... Oh, and by the way, I'm not related Orlando, but he went to my sister's old school, and her friend knows him really well still, and my violin teacher taught him, and her daughter still knows him too... yeah, loads of links, considering he lived about ten miles from me. I've seen a video of his performance in the school musical 'Pirates of Penzance' when he was about sixteen, and, well... let's just say he hasn't improved over time. (ducks rabid Orli fans) Oh, and I like POTC more than Star Wars too. (flees rabid Star Wars fans) Rani, half half

*rabid Star Wars fan* i think the OT acting was fine!! it's kinda like the two show the sides of the fantasy.sci-fi genre (irritating nonfanpeople lump the two together.) it just depends on where you feel more at home, which type of universe. i think.
