You KNEW? How could you know? I don't see how some people can see those types of things.... 'cause I don't see those kinds of things coming... But I do know this: Palpy looks like a MANIAC... ESPECIALLY WITH A LIGHTSABER!! Ahem... I was going to post the following link: movies.channel.aol.com/feature/starwars/trailer.adp?type=lrg...But it looks like someone beat me to it. This is the link to the actual trailer... the only reason I have it is because my dad downloaded it twice, so I got bored waiting for it to load and I saved the link. Well, no point in my posting it, I'm just.... bored from being away for so long! I nearly went insane with loneliness! See, what happened is the computer was getting all dusty inside, and really needed a cleaning, and my mom said if we weren't careful that it might crash. So, I stayed away so the computer wouldn't crash. Well, I finally made my mom clean the computer this afternoon, so everything is now running smooth and dandy! Aaaaaand... I'm probably talking too much, so I'll just... go see to my RPs that I've gotten myself involved in...

Yeah, I'm going to England for grad school, if I have to swim there.

Ooh. Good luck on that swim. Keep us posted. Heh.
Palpy's going to kick some butt...hooyah. Yoda isn't exactly going to go to Dagobah voluntarily, I don't think. Ph34r the dark side!!!
You can hear the 3VIL in his voice!!! SO EXCITING!!! (bounces)

*begins to get hysterical* My favorite line from the trailer is:
HeeheeheeHEEHEE! I can't WAIT!
You know what I'm really waiting for? The big duel between Obi and Ani...

OH, definitely. That's going to be awesome. (is still pumped) Heh...and not to appear like I'm going morbid or anything, but I do really want to see how Padmé's going to end up dead. It's always bugged me ever since I first watched RotJ. Especially the part about Leia actually vaguely remembering her, which one would think couldn't happen while the kid's still a newborn, right? Ergh. Anyway... Here's where you can get durbnpoisn's RotS countdown. Yay!! Only 58 more days to go!!!

But I DIDN'T. And I did. And... ergh... yeah. *shrugs* After watching the first Star Wars, my imagination was rather hiked, I think, and I used to dream all sorts of things like that. And one of the things I had seen in my dreams was a battle in the Sentate building with a dark robed figure, Yoda, and two Jedi I didn't recognize. And Yoda would battle the dark figure, and the other two Jedi fled. I THINK the other two would've been equivlents of Tiana and Jandalf. Yes, I knew Jandalf before I knew her, so to speak. I've given up on trying to explain it.
But that carries on to plot predictions too-- I can pick up parts of plots and suchnot. So on so forth... really annoying.
My favorite lines were *shudders*
And with Obi-Wan.
I DO NOT want to know how Anakin replies to that...
I personally think Luke is taken by Obi-Wan by her willing him to, and Leia stays with her for a year or so, then is given to Bail Organa for safe keeping by the Jedi. I think she'll die by Palpy vaping her. Snrk...

Urgh. I hate being gone. So difficult to catch up and all. Bleach.
Band tour was so fun. Ten hours on the bus today. Lots of singing, sleeping, and kicking Bryce for poking me in the head while I was sleeping. Little punk. Actually, he's quite large.... heh. Pretty eyes though...
I am soooo distracted.... *dies*

Welcome back, Dûn!<br>
Well, yes, that's what I'd thought previously as well. But it wouldn't work that well in the movie, plotwise. Unless the Flannelled One comes up with an extremely creative way of pulling it off, of course. Because if Padmé sticks around for a year, everyone won't know how she eventually dies. And if GL goes on to cover that, it'll completely ruin the movie's sequential action. However, if she dies right away, there's the thing about Leia remembering her rendered unlikely. Sigh. I don't know. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens. I don't trust any spoilers I come across.

*cracks up at mention of CD*
Actually, it was a concert band, for school. About 40 people on a yellow school bus for seven days. Glorious. Six flags was fun, and San Francisco in the rain. It poured on us all day....

It is amusing... I had something else I was going to say but I forgot it...
LASER TAG RULES! I'M HIT! MWHAHAHA...
Yeah, I spend my spair time screaming Star Wars quotes. Amusingly, at YQ, Master, Adrienne and I were standing in the line for Laser tag, and we ran into someone with your first name and her last name from MB. Plus she looked rather like she could've been a distant relative. Unfortunate for her, she disliked Star Wars. *sulks* Heh. Yeah. There, I found SOMETHING to say...

My bro is watching RotK. my school band is going to Washington DC this spring, over the same dates Celebration III is. *whines* as if i could get to Indianapolis anyway! Maybe when i sell a novel and can afford a car...

I absolutely LOVE that avvie...HEEHEEHEE...
...You mean my first name and Adrienne's last name?? WHOA!! I THINK I KNOW HER!!! Sweeeeeeet. Except...she looks nothing like me. (rolls eyes) But most people in my town don't give a fig for SW. So that's no surprise. Lemme see if I can find her in last year's yearbook...
*ONE MINUTE LATER...*
Okay, yes. The one I was thinking of does exist. And she doesn't look completely unlike me. She's one year older than I am, though...hmm. Oh, well. Heh.
(wants to watch Ninja Wizards again)
(does so)
HEEHEEHEE...

I HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY!
OK, my brother and I were taking a walk around our extremely hilly neighborhood, and we took our lightsabers along so we could practice fighting with them. Well, we had stopped on one of the hills and were kinda hitting the blades together a little bit, but I wasn't paying much attention for some reason. Maybe it was the heat. Anyway, I looked up, and from the top of the hill this car was coming. Naturally, and quite by instinct, I moved to the side of the road. Not paying attention, I wasn't watching my brother, who lunged at me with his blade. Since he was in the middle of the road, he completely missed, but at least he was on the side of the road. Rambling aside, the car that passed by happened to be full of teenagers we had never seen before. And, on the way by, they were honking and waving at us like crazy, almost as if they knew us! My only conclusion: They were Star Wars freaks, too!
Does anyone else have any other conclusions?
|
|
|
Post by Jandalf on Toast on Mar 27, 2005 16:58:49 GMT -5
Well, yours is a pretty good conclusion, I think, but I have one other:
They were just plain freaks. Heh. That sort of thing has happened to me before. (shrugs) It's a neat idea, though, to think that they would know SW as well. Did you see the expressions they had on their faces, or was the car going too fast for that?

Meh... since we were in a neighborhood, it wasn't going all that fast. They looked... kinda surprised, I guess, kinda, I don't know, pumped... if that's the right word... you know, hysterical, sorta... kinda the sort of expression that would bring you to the conclusion that I came to...
Recognition, that was it! Recognition was definitely there! You know, that expression on a friends face when they see you somewhere they weren't expecting to see you? Except that we've never seen these kids before... and at least one of them was giving us a thumbs up...
