Technically It's Narcissa who did by making Sev make the unbreakable vow thing....

My theory? Dumbledore knew all of it was going to happen. Snape told Dumbledore about what he must do, but didn't know what Malfoy was up too.
Snape, being a spy, had to make the vow as to not raise suspicion in Bella Black. He told Dumbledore what he had to do and Dumbledore accepted this, seeing as Snape is the best source of info for the order.
Snape wasn't really the bad guy, he had to do what his job as a spy entailed. *hopes*
So, any thoughts on the Ginny + Harry? I didn't see it coming.

Are you serious? You didn't see both of those? Harry and Ginny was supposed to happen since book three-ish. Harry and Cho never would have worked. Eh, I like having my books figured out. Though, I suppose I was minorly surprised with the whole Lupin/Tonks thing. But they fit each other, so I'm all right with it.
I was disappointed. Rowling didn't kill off Harry. *kills Harry out of spite*
I suddenly am obsessed with poor Malfoy, though. He almost got out of everything, then Snape had to show up and ruin it all. Poor guy. I was seriously depressed when I finished that book (in four hours...). Stupid book.... urgh.

I know, it's really weird feeling something so close to friendliness towards Malfoy... my cousin reckons Dumbledore knew he was going to die, so he wanted to protect Malfoy's "untainted heart" and now Snape is taking Malfoy and his mother to the headquarters of the Order... bleh, I just hope Rowling kills Snape in the next book.

I sorta felt sorry for Snape, as well. I knew he had to be the Half-blood Prince, but it made me angry that he offed Dumbledore, even if he had to do it. He knew who he had to kill when he made the Unbreakable Vow, so he can't get out of it that way. At least Malfo was doing it for some sort of reason...

*growls* Sev better not die! *is protective of a wizard and doesn't know why* ARG! HELP! I never used to like any wizard! Drat... He really didn't have any choise in the matter (unbreakable vow) though. And Bella's a pain. I want her to die. Gerrrrrr.

My theory is that Aberforth Dumbledore has the locket now.
BECAUSE...
I think Regulus Black is RAB.
So the locket could have been the one found at Grimmauld Place (when they're clearing out the cabinets, it says they found a 'heavy gold locket that none of them could open').
And Mundungus looted Grimmauld Place, so HE could have got it...
... and then Harry sees him talking to Aberforth aka the barman at the Hog's Head when he's selling some of the stuff from Grimmauld Place, and when Aberforth sees Harry coming he quickly walks off.
So I think Aberforth has it now.
