Edmonton? That sounds vaguely familiar... I think my mom has a friend who lives up in Edmonton. Wouldn't it be weird if it was your mom? The chances of that aren't very high, though... But it does give me something to think about. We are actually going on a road trip to Canada next summer instead of going to some place we can ride the quads. Mom really wants too, and so do I!
*snicker* Wave at all the scary old people! Thats great! What kind of hair dye did you use? I have never dyed my hair a different color, and now you have made me curious and I fell the need to experiment or something of the like. My mother likes you so much (just kidding, lol)! But, like, do you know what brands last the longest and stuff? We have a Target, but the make up section stinks. It's always real messy and they never have Dr. Pepper lipsmackers... That has nothing to do with hair dye, though, just Target... *snicker*

I'm actually going up to a town/city (I don't know which), called Wetaskiwin (sp?), up by Edmonton, this summer. Missions trip, kinda. It should be fun. I'm excited.
The brand was something like.......Color Rays (or maybe rayz, can't remember). It comes in a couple colors, but they only had red and this purple color in our Target, so I don't know all of the other ones.
Fweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Okay, that was odd, I'm just happy about the little blue stars. Spifty.

Heehee...vaguely... Of course, being Canadian myself, the fact that Edmonton exists has been drilled into my brain since grade 2, at least. It's actually sort of funny...my mom called into the U.S. to place an order of some sort, and the guy asked her where she was from, and she said Manitoba, because that's our province. He'd never heard of it...he thought it was a town...HEEHEE...quite amusing. There are some Americans who know nothing of Canada, and there are some Americans who could pass off being Canadian. I guess it depends on who you ask.

I'm the American who knows nothing about Canada except that Avril Lavigne comes from Napanee... Just kidding, I know a bit more than that! Seeing that I live in SoCal, though, I don't meet very many Canadians. Except, you know, you guys.
Now I am going to find Manitoba...

Bleh. Sometimes I think I know too much about Canadians.... I think I'm related to half of Alberta.... and they all eat a ton.
All right, I just have one question - Do you all say 'Eh' constantly? My whole family did.
"Would you like some toast, eh?", "Well, we went down to McDonalds, eh, and they were all eating salad like rabbits."
So you might understand my fear of my darling Canadian relatives (and their bacon *blanches*)

Eh? Snrk. Us Canadian folk do things like that... sometimes. It's an unconscious reaction, ehh. See... And then, I find that there are some of us who use words like 'Tis' a lot too. And do not comment on the eating habits of Albertains please... I can't help that food is GOOOOOOOOOOOOD... mwha-ha-ha-ha. So what if we are hobbit like folk. Trinity, it wouldn't be Eowyn's mom, trust me there... her mom DOESN'T live in Edmonton, they merely live NEAR Edmonton. Just ask Eowyn some time... she'll inform you all about her hates of "'THE" city, Edmonton being the city she speaks of. Eowyn: So, if you are my co-author, am I your co-author? Anakin: Hmmm... interesting thought. LOOK, I CHANGED MY NAME! Eowyn: HALF of ALBERTA?!? Hmmmm... I might have to PM you about your reletives, and see if you are related to me then... giggle. I can't help being an Albertain... hey, when you were in Wintaskuwen, did you see Bow Fever? Or hear any mention of the Fiddin' Kiddlins'? If you did... well... maybe you met my mom... snrk. My mom and sister were in Wint' the same day as you, WitchQueen... *giggles insanely* Eh, Trinity, if you're coming to Canada, be sure to go to Vegreville, and see the GIANT EASTER EGG OF TERROR!!! MWHA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA... no, REALLY! I MEAN IT! Anakin: Okay, enough, get OUT of MY post!!!! Eowyn: My computer... Anakin: My post, me signed on, not you. Eowyn: So? Anakin: Ehh? Eowyn: I WANT MY COMPUTER BACK... Anakin: No! MINE! Eowyn: Hey, since I'm a co-author now, I can post in the co-authors board on your name... Anakin: Ummm... uh ohhhhh... bacon? I love bacon! Well... sorta... yeah... ehh! Eowyn: Oh, for heavens sake, EHH is MY word! Anakin: Fine, savvy. Eowyn: ...*crickets...

I know it probably isn't your mom, I was just speculating...
I don't know how easy it would be to convince my family to see the GIANT EASTER EGG OF TERROR, BUT I WILL TRY!!!! Cuz' I think it sounds VERY interesting in an oddly fascinating way... I think when we go, though, we will mostly be in, like, British Colombia and the like. But that won't be until next summer, so who knows! :trinity:

Hmmm... didn't hear about any 'Bow Fever', or anything like that. We were in the Pioneer Days Parade, however. Almost two straight hours behind a stifling puppet stage with 10 other idiots who have nothing to do with their time, performing for a whole bunch of Canadians who wave at the Puppets. 'Twas funny, in an embarrassing sort of way. Then there was Thomas, who sat on a duct-taped couch right behind us the whole time asking us if we were tired yet. *grrrrr* Drat that boy....
We stayed in host homes the whole time we were there. My friend and I stayed with these people who have these two little girls who could talk the ears off of Pippin. I swear, *raises left hand* oops, *right hand*. Sleep just seems to evade you when you've got a 4 year old shoving Barney in your face all night. *shudder* I had nightmares for a week.
I guess all Canadians like to eat. Everywhere we went, people were always stuffing food into us. I haven't eaten that much food in 10 days in my whole life....

Heh heh, it's not Canadians, it;s just the Uncranian Canadians... they love to eat. And I did not spell that right.
Ah well, Trin, if you're in Alberta, I will see if we'd be able to arange a meeting... maybe even if you're in BC, we MIGHT be able to meet... but you MUST come and see the GIANT EASTER EGG OF DOOM! It's the biggest egg in the world... mwha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha.

I don't think it's necessary to charge into it. But if you do, hit it with your shoulder. It's better than getting your head smacked.

It isn't good to smack your head into the back of a wardrobe. I should know *snicker*...
I was kidding about that last remark. I have a (small) walk in closet. Do you think that would work?
NARNIA SHALL NOT FALL!!!!!
Although conversations will probably heat up a bit more when the movies actually come out... We have to wait a stinking year and two months for them, BUT THEY WILL COME!!!!

Seriously! Hollywood has a tendency to totally destroy a good book when they decide to make it into a movie. The didn't ruin Lord of the Rings, but i could think of a few more that have been messed up...
