Heh, I'm watching them as they go over here in England... I keep missing them at the moment because I'm in exam season, but the episodes that I can see I do. I have got to say, it was pretty wierd seeing the change over between the two doctors. I got majorly confused then...

Bah, don't spoil it for me. I know there will be a switch, but I don't want to know details so that I will be surprised.

LOL... female Jack. *sigh*
Oh, stuff about Tardis, about the Time Lord, and all kinds of goodies as such. Who else has been a companion, that sort of thing.

Oh, ookay. I'll be quiet. I don't know all that much anyway, and I found it kind of confusing. When/if you get that far, perhaps you could explain it to me!

Yeah, no problem! I'd love to. As soon, of course, as I found out and understand it all.

Um.
The Doctor is a Time Lord from the planet Gallifrey. For some reason he left - I think it was because he didn't like the society - and, apparently, stole the TARDIS.
The TARDIS is a machine which can travel in space and time. It's not the only one in existence, but it's actually broken - they can normally disguise themselves, but it's stuck as a police box. Also, it's not as precise as the others, hence them ending up in 1879 instead of 1979 in one episode.
The Doctor is nine hundred years old and Ecclescake is his ninth incarnation. He gets thirteen, ie twelve regenerations. He randomly chooses companions from people he meets, and has had many different ones over the years - next week's episode here in England has him and Rose bumping into one of his past companions, Sarah Jane Smith, and apparently is a little awkward...
The Doctor has two hearts and is asexual. So those hoping him and Rose to get together are going to be disappointed.
The Doctor's nemesis is the Master - another Time Lord, who used to be in charge of Gallifrey. He also has a TARDIS and almost unlimited regenerations. He's supposed to be dead, but I have a feeling they'll bring him back...

I can't wait for the new season. The last episode I watched was SO good... Meanwhile. I want to buy the first season, and then watch it all in one sit.

;D I love the Captain, as well as many other Jacks, but that is getting off the point.
I get the new episode on Friday, so I am excited. How many episodes are there in one season?

Yeah, that was the one. It's nearly over, which is sad; it means I will have to wait until September to see the new season.
