Ehhh... noses on profiles. I don't have as many problems with the forehead... which I usually cover with hair, anyway... Lips are icky, though.
I like the bottom one, EK. Shae. Mostly because that's one of my favorite names... the proportioning on that one is pretty good.

Does your friend do requests? Like, if I gave you a description for a character, could she draw it? I need pictures of a couple of RP charries, and I can't draw them to save my life... EDIT: I drew a couple of other one's, but they were too light to scan from my house. My Grandma's scanner is super cool and hi-tech. Woo! That is Link of the Stupid Nose. I drew his face tilted wrong, so he looks kind of dumb. But I really like his hair. And I drew that last night in my boredom while watching America's Next Top Model. Her name, I think, is Jeinnis

You know... if your friend got a bit more vicious with coloring those pics, she'd be really good... Dun... er... Tiana... I like Link's pic there... and all you'd have to do is add a bit to his nose to make it right, anyway... And... if you want to discribe your character... I can probably try to draw a portrait, or basic full body shot, if you discribe them fairly well... or post a reference photo for facial features... Lessee... my most recent sketch that I've scanned... no offense is meant to chicken lovers! I haven't touched it up digitally yet...

Poor chicken....
At least it wasn't a turkey. Turkeys are my friends.

I know I'm double posting! *winces* Don't hit me! This I copied from a pic I found, it's actually a girl Tahiri Solo used in her sig. I changed it though... This one is a picture of a girl I hope to use in and RPG soon.

I actually have the original of that first pic... Very cool.
Mind if I ask...how old are you? No problem if you don't like to say...I'm just trying to guage here... Your style is a bit immature, but the talent comes right through! ; )

I mean..."immature". Undeveloped...lacking the knowledge of technique to go with your talents. Don't be offended...! pleez... That just means...what it means. ; )

Here's a reference picture for the human face. Copied it from art class.
It helped me, anyway. *shrug*

Observant, you be. Most people wouldn't've known that, as she doesn't post much.
CR, a good painting... that's a commonly used base for teaching someone to paint, I've noticed. I did one very similar when I started painting.

M'kay, so I had access to Photoshop last night... and discovered you can do some pretty nifty and amusing stuff with the paint bucket and blender... heh. So, here's a pretty pathetic colorization of a sketch that's up next to Link... A sketch after Dûn discovered the opacity button... bwahaa...
