Speaking of Silver's creatures.... Here are a few that I've drawn in the past year. None have been touched up with photoshop. I'm too lazy to scan in the pictures. I also took a few pics of the projects I've done that aren't drawings, but cool anyways. Horse sculpture thing I did two years ago: A winged horse that I couldn't put arms and legs on...so thus it has none. Drawn at a math competition while I was waiting for everyone else to finish the test. I stink at math. I was bored at math competition and so I drew an eyeball at the edge of a piece of paper. When I realized I was still bored, I drew the rest of the face. The beginnings of a gryphon...and then the non-finished colored version A chicken with an attitude. This picture was actually drawn after a real chicken that I have. He's not as intense in real life, but I could definitely imagine him as like the leader of a giant animal army. He's the aslan of the poultry. I forget exactly what this means, but it means something like "Believe the impossible". I drew this while I was bored in spanish class last year. Here's a mirror I made this year in art class. It's cut out of cardboard, with some of the ribs showing through. The colored parts were painted and the mirror was etched with the moon and stars. Here's a random picture I drew one night before bed. I guess I must've been inspired by something. I should scan this one and fix it up. I bet it would look good colorized.

I decided to take a break from the usual stuff I do, so I tried something bright. The things coming out of her head are wings. And don't look at the hands! *covers screen*

neato. very dark. Where would one get a proper ink pen for doing such things? Well, to get things THAT dark you need a computer... ^_^; But you can get ink pens at any art supply stores, and probably at Wal-Mart too. And you can sort of stimulate an inked effect with a penciled drawing, as long as it's a very dark and not sketchy drawing on the computer by using contrast and stuff... These are unpatched up on the computer. (sigh) This one IS touched up. So's this one. Heh. Yup...

Oh lawks, finally something I like! Not that I don't like anyting else . . . heh. Here's a picture of a dragon I coloured on photoshop: A pretty ten horned Horse I drew with an H, believe it or not, but that's the truth, though the original looks better because when I cleaned it up on PS, I accidentally made it a tad bit lighter than it really was . . . oh well. Decahorn (c) Elphius Doge aka Penny C.Here's a Kaleesh (my version anyway): Let's see, what else? Oh yes . . . A picture that I made into stained glass on photoshop. I liked how it turned out. Originally it was in pencil, but I decided that it needed some colour, so: And there will be more to come! (As my time schedule is different today . . .) ENJOY!

Well, anyone can draw really. It's all about having as much fun as you can, not being good. You get good as you go along. So if you don't think you're good, don't worry about it, just keep trying and you'll get better . . . And I say this for all the people who get very destructive critics.

EDIT: Ok, if these stretch the board, my deepest apologies! I don't know why they didn't shrink, but then when I went to edit them they did... Yeah... anyway, it looks like the quality on these is sorely lacking, so please click and enlarge for the best viewing! Dang, wish I could draw realistically.... Alas, I am cursed to remain in the realm of the slightly unbelievable... Anyhow... As I do not remember ever getting any comment on these, and as I have played with them a bit since I first posted them back on page 3, I am reposting these two pics: Forca in her visor. No, I never finished drawing the windows on the buildings... Neniel: And also some that were posted, but are no longer showing up due to the fact that I moved them... Twi'lek 1: Twi'lek 2: Now for some of my older sketches... Doc Ock. Drew him from the back so I wouldn't have to do his face... Lazy, I know... Forca and Coruscant skyline: Lightsaber: Girl and leopard. This took me positively forever to finish: Now we're getting into some slightly more recent stuff... Glathiron. Pencil and oil pastels. Grasidon. Also pencil and oil pastels. Forca comic-style character sketch: Random cat sketches more random cat sketches The still unfinished comic page based on the action scene at the endo of Ch 6 of Secret Admirer (look a couple pages back for where I mentioned it). Please ignore the last two panels! That was forever ago! My Robin Hood sketch which made it onto the flyers, the T-shirts, and the cover of the program! Ah, finally, my recent stuff! Various Phoenix designs an eye Another comic-style character sketch. This one is for one of the characters I plan on introducing soon in WotD. A phoenix. If you couldn't tell, I have a strange fascination with the Phoenix. I'm particularly proud of these last two. It took me only an hour or so to do the first one, but the second one I was working on for four days. And now for the final two sketches. *drumroll* Rachel Summers (from reference shot. Many thanks to one of my friends for helping me with this!) And Scott and Jean (also from reference shot, though not the pose I wanted. Darn it, Skippy, hold still!) That is all I have scanned in so far. I have also done a very large drawing of Glathiron battling a Phoenix, but I have not yet attempted to scan it in. I will do so as soon as I can, though, because I just love the way it came out! Yup, hope you enjoy my little journey through memory lane... I tried to put them in chronological order as best I could, but... Since I don't ever date anything, there's absolutely no telling!

The dog tag is really, really good. As for your people... Are you drawing the rough skeleton first? As well as the lines for the face? Just a thought. You're definately improving. My issue with the last picture was it wasn't dark enough for me to see very well. Oh, yeah, and all the pictures in one post made it really slooow. I should post more art. Eh. Whatever. Here's my most recent, which got it's own thread for being comic strip style, but I'll post it here for the sake of being here and not being off topic. XD i8.photobucket.com/albums/a10/angstypen/cm-asplode-final.jpgTo an earlier poster: I'm aware I'm a critic. (shrugs) I wanted critisim at one time in my life and no one gave it to me, so I didn't improve. I'm never cruel. I always offer some help in the form of "this was good" "this needed work". No one in this thread has been flamed, to the best of my knowledge. Lothlori-diggums, right? I liked your last one, the stained glass one. Heh.
