Glima made it to the bridge undetected and got under it, waiting for his first orc. Strider? Son of Aragorn? Is it possible? Wonder if he knows who I am yet. Time will come for questions afterthe battle.

Strider ducked under the bridge, and drew his sword from his left sheath. He fingered the hilt under his cloak on his right side. If he told his companions who he was, and why he was out here, he would draw it in battle, but not before. For this sword was Anduril, flame of the west, the sword of Aragorn, king of Gondor. He heard the orcs coming from a distance. He quietly thought that he would not have this ability if his father had not married Arwen.

"Took Burough, Took. Possibly Pippin?" Ramo's face brightened at the thought of seeing this rather zealous and over friendly hobbit. With a broad smile she made her way into the town, asking for him.
An orc jumped out, not expecting to find an ax into its back. Glima slid the body into the water under the bridge as he waited for the next kill. He turns to Strider "I recognize that sword. Narsil?"

Strider realized that he had pulled his cloak too far back, revealing Anduril. "Well, yes, actually it is called Anduril. I am Eldarion, son of the king Elessar. He has been captured by orcs, and I am trying to find him. He was taken during the night, and did not have his sword, so I am carrying his sword." Eldarion drew Anduril from it's sheath, and switched hands with the other sword. The main company of orcs came to the bridge and he jumped out into the midst, brandishing two swords, shouting, "Elessar!"

Glima threw an axe at an orc and jumped into the mess of open weapons. "Sorry... *dogdes sword* about your... *kills orc* Father. If possible, I'll help you track him."

"Thank you..." Eldarion swung at an orc with Anduril and ducked under Gilma's axe"...any help is greatly appreaceated." Eldarion was caught by the second swing of the axe, knocking him to the ground.

Ramya sat in the warm grass and moss, the sun beaing down on the back of her head. She dug her hands through the matted plants, looking for the particular herb her mother needed. She sang as she worked, thinking of nothing but her approaching eighteenth birthday. It's hard to believe I'll be of age... she thought. She sighed dreamily, and sniffed the listerblossom she found.
She sneezed. There was another, much fouler scent in the air. She pushed her thick hair out of her face with the back of her hand, careful not to get the mud on her hands on her hair, and looked around. She heard the faint sound of shrieks and horrible yells, and the unpleasant chiing of metal on metal. Fear blossomed in the pit of her stomach. What is that? She rose swiftly and walked in the direction, leaving her basket and scarf behind.

((oops))
Glima scliced an orc then helped Strider back up. The Dwarf picked up the axe he threw and faced an enemy he'd hoped he'd never see. A band of Uruk-Hai.
He heard a command on orcish and the troops moved in. But one wasn't going to the duo. It was running towards a hobbit. Filthy son of a... Glima unsheathed his sword and blocked the scimatar (sp) that nearly hit the hobbit.
He punched it in the jewels and the Uruk backed off. "No, you're not getting away that easily." He jumped on it's back and plunged his sword into the helmet.

"Now if I were a hobbit where would I be?" Ramo had wandered through the village for several minutes meeting not a soul. "Of course the Tavern where else?" She chided herself internally then set about looking for a drinking establishment.
Bright lights and rowdy sounds poured out of the Red Horsemen. Peregrin Took sat in the back drinking and ale, listening to tales from the others. At the door of the tavern was a cloaked figure, stooping to avoid hitting her head on the ceiling. "May I help you Stranger?" He yelled to be heard and everyone quieted.
The tall being removed the cloak revealing a tall she-elf. "Pippin is that you? My how you've grown, older that is."

((Could we use the LotR ideas thread? No, we should use the OOC board, never mind.)) Eldaron let the origingal shock of the axe blow wear off. He hacked at an Urik hai, sending it's head flying. "Thanks for helping me up. Where is that half elf?" Eldarion was hit in the back with an orc sword. He turned slowly. "You think you can kill me?" The orc hacked at his chest, cutting the cords holding the front of his shirt closed, reaviling the mithril shirt underneath. Eldarion swung his sword, severing both arms. Then he stuck his sword into the stomach of the orc, Killing it.

((Jeez, you don't just appear with mithril! It's not like you can pick some up at the GAP of Rohan.))
"Probably enjoying some of that confounded Hobbit ale." He ducked dodging the blade that nearly cleaved him in two. "I thought the orcs were driven out a few decades ago. Where are these Uruks coming from?"

Ramo led Pippin to the battlefield as best as she could, it was getting dark. "There they are!" She pointed towards the two lone figures underneath the bridge.
"Hmm, all right boys let's go!!" With those few words from the Advisor of the Shire a large group of armed Hobbit-men joined the melee, making short work of the Uruks that hadn't already been killed or fled from the battle.
With a large grin on her face Ramo gave Pippin a huge hug. "That was marvelous!! Oh I haven't seen something like that happen in a long time." She turned towards the Dwarf and Prince becoming a bit more subdued in her demeanor. "Master Dwarf, Your Highness, may I present Peregrin Took of the Shire."

Eldarion nodded to Pippen. "Is there somewhere we can stay for the night?" Eldarion sheathed his swords, walking in the direction of Hobbiton. "The Green Dragon perhaps? Pippen, I hope you know that Aragorn is in the orcs captivity."
((How else do I survive your axe? Nevermind.))

"It took you long enough," Glima said in referrence to the hobbits, "but it is appreciated. Master Took, Do you have any scouts? I would like to have the find any remaining orcs that might have King Aragorn."

Pippin shrugged his broad shoulders several times before answering the questions laid before him. "The Green Dragon will do fine. I know the innkeeper very well so there will be no problems with that." His smile quickly dissapeared as Eldarion mentioned Aragorn. "Yes the maiden informed me of your Fathers misfortune. We will do all we can but that is not much. For now you will rest."
Ramo listened to her long-time friend speak with a smile. It was good to be back amoung the hobbits. They were so full of life, and for the most part didn't care who you were.

"Thank you for your invitation. I gladly accept it. Uruks take a lot out of you." Glima followed a Hobbit to the Green Dragon Inn and took a seat at the bar. "Hair of the Elf," he said requesting a drink. Accepting one from the bar tender he gave him his bill and stared into his drink. "Uruk-Hai," he muttered, "Where are they coming from?"
