Ben looked at nemo "If you think thats all they have....then your ship will be blow before the battle starts.......The pad says they have nitro-tanks, and we all know they could blast captial class ship from orbit."
Ben walked over to the holo projector and punched a few buttions. On the holo projector showed a veiw of dantooine from orbi and started zooming in on a quiet large fortress. "This is a fortress the settlers first used a long time ago to fend off the kath hounds and the merc's. It's smack-dab in between us and them. We could rally the jedi, troops and any villagers willing to fight and get to fort first......we would have at least 2 days to prepare for a seige."
Ben walked over to Nemo and said "I hate dealing in absolutes but.....either fight with us or get out of our way. And if your worried about your realationship with the mandalorains....." Ben handed Nemo the data pad. "These are outcast's.....mandalor would probably thank you for 'dealing' with them."

"Forgive me prince Dakkar, but Ben is right. Once they know your ship is their, they weill atempt to take it down..." Sabaa said, bowing to show her respect before adding, "But a ship could also provide a good bombardment should the time come for it, like as if we were unable to keep them at bay at that fortress."
"Yes...that fortress would be a great vantage point." Sabaa had still not gotten a chance to see the actual datapad, but by what the others were saying, it wasn't any good news. But Ben did have a point, as advanced Prince Dakkar's ship was, if they knew it was there, it would be a sitting duck. But if they did not, and he held his fire until they needed it, it could take the Mandaloreans by surprise, and turn the tide of the battle for the better.
"We could fortify the fortress with some stealth mines and mabye a turrent or two..." She suggested looking over to Ben, who she had taken a liking to. There were very few jedi whom she respected, he had become one of them, she could learn alot from him.

Ben smiled "Good idea saba but were going to need more than one or two turrets. Ben pulled up a picture of the fortress on the holo projector, it had a large square wall areound a very tall tower. "We can put the main force on the wall's and put most of the gun men and snipers in the tower so that they would have an easyer time at targeting madalorains and shooting 'em. Now all we need to know is how many republic soilder's we can get, how man settlers we can get, and how many jedi we can get from the enclave........and if you are fighting with us nemo.......yes or no?

Nemo listened to their strategy. He was in the process of reading the datapad Ben had just handed him. He was indeed telling the truth, these Mandaloreans were outcast, outlaws...he was sure that their relations would not be damaged by this battle. He had many force powers, and his lightsaber skills were strong.
"These rogue Mandaloreans have forced my hand. I will fight beside you, and help to defend the people here." Prince Nemo Dakkar said before adding, "You will have the full support of my men as well, many of them are former jedi, they should be a big help to you."
"Most of my men are close combat fighters, many have force powers, some are skilled gunmen. They would be best on the wall as seige breakers. We all know that...Republic...soldiers are better gunmen than close combat fighters, so they would be best in the tower. But be warned, Kier and Republic soldiers have not fought as allies since the Mandalorean wars...with good reason. Hopefully no one will come to blows and they will take their fustration out on the enemy."

Echo looked over to Prince Nemo.
"I don't fight for vengance. I fight to preserve life, that is my duty as a soldier."
He then took in the info Ben was giving, and made a plan.
"Ok, I could use the Hawk to transport troops and supplies, scince the hills will give me cover, and the Mandalorians will be far away at the time, so I'll be fine. Nemo and Sabaa, get some turrets and engineers here so I can drop them off to the fortress. Ben, rally as many Jedi and settlers as you can. Use my swoop. It's in the back, and I've modified it to where you can use it in a fight. I'm gonna go clear some space for the guns and stuff."
Echo went into the cargo hold, and programmed the hoverpads on the crates to place them in the enginge room and quarters, so the Soldeirs and weapons will have no trouble getting in and out. Echo then walked over to a sheet covered object. He threw off the sheet, and dust flew in the air.
"Ready for another ride, Fenhrir?" The swoop was black and streamlined, both for speed and stealth. The armor was light, but thick, and had a holster on the side for a blaster rifle. The seat was slanted so the rider would have the bike to cover his torso, and windshield for his face. It had one exhaust tube, but housed a rocket thruster with four manuvering thrusters. The tube had the coushined seat, and the footrests were posistioned so the rider could lay flat against the bike. He stepped back to admire the modified bike. It was freshly oiled, and had a full tank. Ready for action.
He killed the moorings, and glided it to the main hold for Ben to take.
"Just bring her back in one piece, she's worth more than the Hawk pricewise."

Ben stood wide-eyed as he saw the swoop, and said "I don't doubt it....." He jumped in the seat and griped the handle bars and noticed the seat was made for two pepole, Ben looked at saba with a gleam in his eye's "Are ya comeing?" Ben asked saba then looked at the name tag of the swoop 'fenrir'. Ben tought he heard that name before but pushed the thought back and concentrated on the task at hand

Sabaa nodded excitedly, revealing a rare smile, she'd never gotten to ride one of these before. She quickly got in the second seat. She knew that she should not be thinking about bikes and such, but she couldn't help it. Speed was a thrill to her.
"How fast can this go?" She asked. There weren't too many of these on her planet, only at swoop races and the ilk. Some Manaloreans had versions of those but no one she knew. She looked at the bike wide eyed.
"Where to first? Would it be best to speak to the settlers first, since they will need the most help?"

Ben jumped off the bike and said "Wait a second." Ben ran to his quarters and reached under his bed and pulled out a box.....the credits from the betting pot from the swoop race on taris. 50,000 credits, probable enough to give the settlers a mittila pay if some were wanting to fight with against the mandalorians. Ben got back on the swoop bike and put the box in a small compartment and looked at the speed meeter on the bike. "Thats weird saba the meeter shows it can go up to 465 mph....who ever made this bike has a sense of humor."
Ben started up the bike and said to saba "Let's go to the settlers we might be able to get some recutes while we're there." Ben revved the bike and stepped on the throttle speeding Ben and Saba away.

Pht. 456 mph is the least it can do.
Echo looked over to Nemo. "Well, I gotta play errand boy."
He started to walk over to the cockpit, then stopped as he caught a glance at Janice's silhoette around the corner.
Life is too short to be spent arguing.
He truned back to Nemo. "In the battle ahead, lives will end. If one of ours does, I want it to be ended on good terms." He extended his hand. He wasn't ready to friends with this snotty-nosed spoiled brat who had too much power and not enough wisdom, but he would be civilized. "Pals?"

Nemo watched them leave and shook his head. He remembered how much he loved those things. There weren't many of those on Firdaus. He had to admit, it was a good bike.
"In the battle ahead, lives will end. If one of ours does, I want it to be ended on good terms." Nemo listened to him, if he had his face cover, he could hide the surprise. But without that, his youthful face gave away his emotions easily. He knew this man didn't feel truely ready to befriend someone like him, and he knew this because he felt the same. He wasn't the forgiving type when it came to non-Kier, and this man had moments earlier managed to insult his power, intelligence and pride at the same time.
But he was right...they were allies now, they responsible for eachother's (and more) lives. How could you fight for someone that you hate? It's not possible.
"I understand...and agree." Prince Dakkar nodded, taking his hand and therefore accepting his offer of truce. He still did not know much about this man, and wondered who they were after. Would he beable to stop them if they tried to stop his master? Did he even want to?

Echo smiled.
"Glad that's settled, now you've got troops to rally, and I've got to get room for them. If your ship's engines are heard, the whole plan is dead. 'Sides, no time like the present to take your ship out for a spin. Just bring 'em in when they've eaten, rested, and have extra ammo, they'll need it."
Echo then left the main hold, and went into the infarmary. He pushed a button on a consle, and a shield slid over Janice's body, and the glass fogged up. This was to preserve her body until they had time to do a decent burial for her.
