Whoah... that is just way too creepy... axes in the ceiling... *shudders*
My older brother's friend (yeah, that sound's a long ways away) lives in a house that three people were killed in, and his aunt (he's technically my half brother) was in the house when it happened. I've been in the house, and it's... quite creepy. My brother didn't know the house's history until he had to read this book on Montana murders for him Criminology class, and saw a picture of it. Needless to say, he hasn't hung out at his friend's house in a long time. Though that wasn't really paranormal, so I should quit talking about it...
I hear people talking when I'm alone in my house all the time, which is minorly disturbing. It hasn't happened for a while though, so I'm not to worried about it. Seeing as how you couldn't really understand what they were saying, anyhow.

Well according to some people the Bermuda triangle is a portal to hell(read it in a Christian book). A bit creepy. They made a few good points, like when ships were just left out in the sea with no one but animals on board. Also, when some people flew past they saw ufo-type flying things(they said they might be demons).
Anyway, I think I may have seen good spirits a few times, but I'm not sure. I've seen little floating (very transparent) clouds around sometimes.

I get lots of future dreams, in which I dream about things that happen, then they do. going way back: I think God choses people to read signs that he has given, I mean, look at Joseph. First he had dreams about the future, and then he interpreted dreams about the future. And his having the dreams affected the future. Telling his brothers that he was going to rule over them, didn't exactly help his situation, but it definitely helped him in the long run.

Hey, Shadowsaber, not only is that inappropriate talk for this thread, it is also unacceptable talk for this entire SITE. This is a warning to knock it off. I don't like being like this, but talk like that makes me angry and I won't tolerate it. So stop.
For the rest of you, please carry on with your conversation.

Shadow Saber, as Trinity said, that is unappropriate. This is your first warning from both of us. I have deleted your threads and if I see it happen again, the necessary actions will be taken.
If you have a problem with something, please PM me or another mod privately.

If there's any more of this sort of thing on the part of shadowsaber or anyone else, anyone can feel free to PM me and I will deal with it, as from the different things I've been hearing about and reading myself I'm feeling rather inclined to ban. Thanks for your interferences, Silver, Trinity.

What did he say? I've had an inclination to ban him, but seems his post was deleted... Heck, if it was bad enough to have three people... it must have been really bad to get a mod, a gmod, and an admin in this short time... and to have Trinity say it was innapproprate for the SITE... he's done previous posts against our code of conduct. Admin Two, you have freeway to ban at will. IP too, if whatever he said had anything to do with cursewords worse than damn or any form of... um... non-PG contact. *bows* The button is yours. If you want to just temporarily ban him, that'll be all right. It's your call. But I don't allow offences at all anymore. So, Admin Two, do we Warn, Tempa Ban, Delete, or IP Ban? Your call. Anyone who read his post is allowed to make a shot to at approprate punishment... but the iron fist has spoken.

For what he said? Hmmmmm. I'd like him to get a fairly hard punishment. He had no right that.
In my opinion, and this is only mine, I think we should temp. ban him and give him a warning that if he does anything like it again he'll be IP banned.

I'm in favor of a ban. He made me VERY ANGRY. Like, I was ready to turn into the Hulk angry... I don't like it when people say stuff like that. But yeah, *steps to the side and points to ban button* it's all your's, Jandalf...

*pops in* POP! ;D 'Ello. I was invited and so here I is! Ahem... Wow. I need food. Anywhooo...
There's a certain topic that fascinates me, but I'm not sure if I can discuss it here... However, I'll give it a go... Anyone believe in vampires?

I do. But not the vampires we see in movies. I also believe there had to be something resemblings dragons, unicorns, and other mystical creatures. I guess the same goes for vampires. I mean, something that has been passed down for generations and generations has to have some history behind it. There had to have been someting to spark the imagination of the person who told the first vampire/dragon/unicorn story.
I do believe that such creatures like vampires do exist, but I'm not really sure how to explain that belief.

My reason for thinking that there is some validity to these "myths" is that you see similar creatures in different cultures on different continents. There's an excellent documentary called Fang vs. Fiction on the EE of Underworld. It examines the origins and possibilities of vampires and werewolves. It's really incredible.
For example, in the case of vampires, there's the myth about Lilitu or Lilith. In the bin-Sira version of the Bible, Lilith was the first wife of Adam, created at the same time he was. However, she refused to submit to his will and was thrown out of Eden and cursed. Many people say this curse is vampirism. Then there's Arab and Jewish myths about Lilith that claim she is a succubus, seducing young men and draining their life with a kiss. Jewish women also believed that Lilith would steal and eat their children. There's a version of the Lilith myth in every religion known to mankind. Then there's the legend of the nosferatu which is I believe Latin for "walking corpse". The nosferatu were deceased people who would rise from their coffins at night to seek out the living and drink their blood. Then we all know the tales of Vlad the Impaler from Transylvania that would bathe in and drink the blood of his enemies. And one possibility that I read about in the rpg Vampire: The Masquerade is the legend of Caine/Cain. When Caine killed his brother Abel in the Bible, God "marked" and "cursed" him. The game says that this curse was vampirism, which he in turn passed on to his descendants. While that myth doesn't hold up very well when examined carefully, it is an interesting possibility.
Besides that, science proves that it is possible for such creatures to exist. For vampires, we have the vampire bats to prove that a creature can survive on blood. For dragons, we have pterosaurs, the flying reptiles from the age of dinosaurs. For unicorns, we have a variety of creatures that resemble them including horses and goats.

Actually in myth Caine (not the card guy, the actual bible Caine) and Lillith had a child. That child was supposedly the first vampire.
And the living forever thing? Its possible cuz I've heard theres a gene in every living thing that tells you when you'll stop aging physically. Thats right, in people I think its roughly 95, then you die from natural causes, not of old age. But what if you were aging stopped at 20? Then you'd live forever until mortally wounded. Just what I've heard.
And if vampires existed it wouldn't be that hard for them to blend in would it?
And about the multi continent version of vampires its true. All cultures seem to have a vampire creature in it.

Wow, a google add for new and used haunted houses... snrk. Anyway. *briefly pops in with little bit of time left*
It's Cane, by the way, I think... oh well. Or Cain. Or... never mind.
I don't believe in vampires, but I believe that dragons and unicorns existed. Or, at least, creatures like them. I believe vampires are merely demons in disguise. (blame it all on demons. Heh)
I think the possibility of dragons having existed, and many other creatures like so is possible, though. Like mamoths and that stuff.
Anyway. Concerning living forever. If you believe in the Bible, humans back a LOOOONG time ago used to live far longer. Over 600 years in some cases. But after the Flood, the layer of water in the atmosphere was released and that caused UV rays to reach Terra. That causes us to "rust" in a sense of things, wearing our bodies down faster. As science could prove (at least I think) the UV concentration has grown stronger, and that's why the morality rate has grown to be far earlier...
Yeah. Heh. A logicalish explanation... this, in turn, could also explain why some mythical creatures such as dragons died out. With the changes in atmosphere and light... yeah. Poof! They can't handle it anymore...
