I love reading about other peoples' weather, especially when it's very different from my own. So in this thread I want you to say the general area where you live (You don't have to be too specific, just state the state, providence, etc.) and say what kind of weather you are currently having.

I live in SoCal, and right now we are having June gloom in May, so it's kinda yucky looking and a bit warmer than it's been in a while... like 80-ish, which is nice. I WANNA GO TO THE BEACH!!!! Or Mammoth, but I gotta wait another month or so for that one... *cries*...

EVERYONE is having prom either this Friday or last Friday. At the grocery store where I work, the floral people are making all the corsages. I never had a prom, so I feel a bit left out, especially when I walk by the fridge where they keep the flowers and see all the pretty roses.
Anyway, weather... ours is dry and warm, but nicely so. I can walk around in capris and a tank and be totally confortable. Check back with me in a month or two and see how I'll feel when it's 100 degrees and I have cart hour at work...

It's actually worse when it's not sunny because all the UV rays are magnified by the cloud particles. Plus, they are pretty much the only on'es coming through... I think. At least that's what I've learned when I go to the beach and it's overcast and I still burn. But yeah, WEAR SUNSCREEN EVEN IF IT'S CLOUDY!

YES!!! I've gotten burned wicked bad because I didn't, and I don't burn easily.
I'm in NH ... and it's flooding here. The lake I live next to has moved into my backyard (about 100 ft away from the shoreline). Bring out the buckets and bail out the basement.... again. I've never seen flooding like this! Please make the rain STOP!!!!

Eww... for once since I moved into our house, our basement hasn't flooded. The idiots down the road always turn the headgate on the irrigation ditch way, way up, and we get a pool. So we cemented the sides of our ditch... bwaha.
It hit 88 today, which would have been glorious but for the fact that we were all stuck in school, watching the happy sun outside the window. And then, once school got out, I had to drive around in my bloody van that has a leak somewhere in the coolant area, and is dripping antifreeze all over the driveway as we speak.... which means I had to run it with the heater on. Mis-er-y.

Wow, that's no fun. My Jeep has that problem every once in a while during summer, so I have to watch it to see that it doesn't overheat.
At least you can SEE the sun, Dun. We have so much haze and smog... I don't know where it's gone...

It looked about like that, today. It hit ninety three times this week... icky. 'Cause, due to t3h evilness of our dresscode, we can't wear shorts.... it's sort've funny. Elsewhere in the US it's flooding due to all the rain.... here it's flooding because all of the snow is melting in the mountains because of the record-setting heat, and running down and overflowing the rivers.... the Bitterroot, right next to my house, is soooo high.....

It's been raining on and off all week. On the days I had nothing planned it was beautiful. Of course on the days when I had outside things planned, it rained.
Today the sun was out for the most part, but that didn't stop the rain. So today the sun was beautiful, but it was quite wet. Wacky weather, eh?
Dun, when I go with my Uncle places in the winter, he'll open the top of his convertable and blast the heat. I don't know if it's possible to be freezing cold and over heated at the same time, but I've felt it first hand. Why I keep going in the car with him? I'll never know...

Heh. Yeah... we took the old beater over a couple o' passes this weekend... yesh. That was fun.
It was perfect, today. It got to seventy-five, and then stormed for a couple of hours. Thunder, lightning, the works. I love lightning storms... there's nothing so glorious in all of God's creation. And they're a good distraction from AP Biology, so that's a plus...

It's turned freakishly cold down here. It poured rain during the night, then got cold during the day with some showers. It's no small wonder that my sinuses are freaking out. We went from 90 degrees to 73 in the space of a day!!!

Hmmm hot around 90 degrees with 100% humidity. I love Illinois... [/sarcasm]. We've been having popcorn storms for the past few days. The rain takes down the temp. for like an hour or so... then because it's to wet and sticky it gets up to another 10 degrees from where it started. Hence why I stay INSIDE!!!!!!

Currently in VA, where it's 90% humid with a chance of doom! Sorry, I mean... it was 98 today and clear, actually. But it did rain all last week, thunder and lightening and such. It was hot.
