The reason we need to take the SATs and SAT IIs: College applications. So what are you applying to and are going to get in to by any means possible?
Has anyone else had to use the common application? I don't really like it. What do you think?

Thomas More College of Liberal Arts, University of Oregon (the Ducks. heh.), and the University of Sioux Falls. We'll see, I guess. Thomas More is most definitely at the top, though the UofO has a lot of the same stuff.
It's just.... bigger. And they're the Ducks... *shudders* I like Oregon a lot, though. We'll see.
All of my apps have been school specific. I liked Thomas More's. Got to write about Sydney Carton... *grins* Doesn't get much better than that.

Heh, sw33t. Ducks.... yeah. *shudders* Williams has a purple cow - just as bad, I think.
My apps have been school specific- one uses the Common App, the other doesn't. But luckily, they have the same essay question (!!). Going for Williams College and University of New Hampshire. Williams - teeny UNH - HUGE Williams - personal UNH - totally impersonal. Willaims - GORGEOUS UNH - dirty... Williams - Far enough UNH - just barely. Praying and working desperately for Williams.

LOL, makes sense. I thought it was Northern Atlantic cuz I'm on the eastern seaboard, and that's what I know NAU as. What would you like to study?

I'm applyin to The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey as we speak. I've had everything else filled out for awhile, but I just don't want to do the essays. I do so wish all the essays were the same. It would make life so much easier.

Fairleigh Dickinson University, Bennington College, Messiah College, Drew U. Which one I go to depends on which one gives me enough money, but FDU is my favorite. Only one had the common app as mandatory--I hateses application paperwork. Essays aren't that bad unless they give you an impossible prompt...

Whoa, Cy, that's a lot of schools.... Don't you just HATE it when they don't all use the common app? It would be too darn convienient... Good Luck getting in. I'm in the same position - all depends on the aid.. and what I decide I want to do. Just to warn you, fashion is HIGHLY COMPETITIVE. I wanted to do that, until I found out how ruthless it is.... *shudders* Best of luck, if that's what you really want to do!! Who said colleges were nice... Oy. I'm with you on this, Silver. Best of luck getting in!! I hope you enjoy it! What would you study?

Right now I'm thinking about getting into Criminal Justice. For the longest time I wanted to go into Vet science, but ever since I held a job at a vet office I decided I wasn't so fond of that idea any longer.
Stockton offers several track classes in Criminal Justice. They have an Intelligence track, Criminal Psych, and Forensic Investigations. The best part about Stockton is that they offer all different kinds of majors and courses, so I can always switch if I want to.
