From the SW.com databank.
"Ord Mantell can be said to be in the middle of nowhere -- convenient for those wishing to lay low. But at the same time, it is located close to some major hyperspace trade routes, making it a thriving port. The combination of these two factors have made Ord Mantell a smuggler's haven. The planet also hosts a lucrative gunrunning business, as weapons are smuggled to the nearby war-torn world of Anobis.
Ord Mantell is called the Heart of the Bright Jewel. From orbit, pink clouds cover 70 percent of the planet's surface, shielding the pinpricks of city lights and the yellow soil of open land. Dark, placid seas reflect the warm glows of its twin moons, and 13 lesser satellites. Ord Mantell has a 26-hour day, and a population of 4 billion. Wildlife on Ord Mantell includes the Mantellian savrip, and the Ord Mantellian flutterplumes.
A world of varied terrain, Ord Mantell's continent of Worlport boasts a sprawl of cities along its southern shore... Wolport's cities have all sorts of casinos and vice-peddlers. The most well known of Ord Mantell's casinos are the opulent Imperial Palace Casino Hotel, the Naweenan Fate Rooms, the Pink Sky Casino, and the Fifteen Moons Casino. These casinos, no matter how sleazy, do not allow weapons past their doors.
Much of this part of Ord Mantell has become a tourist resort. Ord Mantell attracts about a billion tourists annually. Outside of the sprawl, and a narrow equatorial band of starports, much of Ord Mantell remains very rural and low tech. Most of the structures in Ord Mantell's metropolitan areas beyond the casinos lack address markings. The philosophy behind this is that if you don't know where you're going, then you don't belong there. These parts of Ord Mantell are not intended for tourists.
Despite Ord Mantell's attempts to be contemporary and on par with the Core Worlds, its pollution from use of fossil fuels has kept it quite barren. The planet maintains huge robotic coal yards used to fuel the planet's cities. An immense scrapyard dominates some of Ord Mantell's landscape.
Ord Mantell has some of the most lenient banking laws in the galaxy. Nearly anyone, in any line of business, can get an account in a bank of Ord Mantell with no questions asked. As long as customers pay the proper tariffs, service fees and taxes, and don't cause trouble, the authorities on Ord Mantell are quite accommodating."
((Have fun.))

((I wish to express my undying love for you, Tiana... Weeeee!))
"Hey! Watch where you're going, freak!"
*Vera didn't even bother to reply to the alien that had just slammed into her shoulder. She knew by now that it never did any good, even if she was apologizing. She was always running into someone on the busy streets of one of Worlport's most crowded cities. For someone who could only see through the Force, finding one's way amongst so many lives and energies could be rather taxing. Vera, perhaps, should have been used to it by now... but she wasn't.
She clutched her small bag of weekly groceries tightly to her chest, knowing all too well just how brutal the thugs and casino scum could be. She kept her head down and focused straight ahead of her, knowing that it was the best way to avoid one of two circumstances: someone being offended by her "paying attention" to them or someone taking particular notice of the cloth that covered her eyes and using the opportunity to take advantage of a "blind" woman.
Yes, life for Vera on Ord Mantell proved to be a daily struggle, and she often cursed the day that her parents had fled Alphredies. Still, she had learned better than to complain and sulk about it. There was no way she could fix the situation at the moment, only make the best of it.
She turned off of the large street and onto a more quiet one, although still fairly crowded, making her way toward her apartment complex...*

//poof! Your next task is to discribe Ord Mantell and the stuff outside of the ship.//
Myth grinned tiredly, without much humor or malice in the expression, oddly. "Great. Welcome to Ord Mantell, little Jedi."

Cluge stepped out of the ship and viewed the expanse around them. The pink horizon was a strange sight for those accostemed to the natural blue. Pollution. These people should build weather screens instead of casinos. The surronging structures were huts compared to Courascant's skyscrapers, but large in the long run. Cluge let his mind wander about the night life. Must be blinding at dark. The golden soil of the planet reminded him of Tatooine's sands, yet not exactly. "Smuggler's haven, Mobsters Heaven," was the best Cluge could sum up the whole view.

"Look around, and tell me what you feel," Myth ordered, looking around at the grime ridden planet.

Cluge sent his mind into the streets, searching, feeling. He sensed anger, aggression, fear and hatred. Like back on Tatooine. A faint smile came to his lips but then vanished. Concentrate, you moron. Shifting his mind back to the task at hand, his sweep came across young woman, there was something about her that made her stand out from the rest. Then he noticed she was blind. Yet she swereved through the crowd easily. She's a Force-sensitive. What is she doing here? Cluge made a mental note to check in on this young woman afterwards. "It appers that just about everyone here is unsatisfied, wanting more than this planet can offer, yet none can escape it. Many feel.... helpless. Insecure. Emotinally unstable. While others live in luxury, ignoring those below them. Nearly everyone thinks alike: 'Look out for number one.'"

Raze landed the ship on the side of a large city. He sighed as he lifted himself from his seat and walked outside. He inhaled the smell of pollution, of industry.
"Well... here I am... she should be here." He thought to himself. He was shaking slightly, out of fear, out of anxiety. He thought he had no hope of winning, yet he had to, for Taania.

((Ok, what is raze doing here? I thought he was on Tatooine. What's wrong? Didn't enjoy the heat?))
Cluge was doing some more probing when suddendly, a sharp pang struck his mind, a presence he knew all to well formed.
Raze.
Cluge quickly drew his presence back into himself and concealed it. He had opened himself too long.
"Myth, Raze has returned."
And he could only fear for the worst would happen if, no, when they were found.

//You're not close enough to Raze to be able to distinquish his presense yet, i don't think, and if you read the end of the tatooine thread <ignore the drivel> it explains why hes here. He's going to kill me, appentice,..,//
"I know," Myth said dryly. "I knew he would. He... met with someone... I used to know quite well." Her voice went dangerously low for a moment before snapping back. "Do not worry, if he has turned, we will kill him."

Raze moved through the streets quietly, his head bent downwards, his face impassive. He wondered what was going to happen, if he was going to find them, or if they were going find him. His eyes scanned back and forth, looking, but he couldn't see either of them.
He did pause when a greed Twi'lek had passed in front of him, putting his hand on his lightsaber. He realized it wasn't her, she was too young, "And looks happy..." He added to himself. He hand removed his hand from his lightsaber and continued along.
He had never been on Ord Mantell before, but he knew where his ship was, he knew where he was in relation to it.

((Cluge was just making his mind too unprotected, too vulnerable to intrusion and mind sweeps, that when Raze came, he found him too well. But ill refrain from becoming all-powerful. This shall be interesting.))
A speck caught the corner of his eye, a figure that, even from this distance he knew to whom it belonged to. Cluge's right arm bolted to his side for his lightsabre, but only to be painfully reminded that his right hand was gone, as well as his lightsabre.
"What shall we do?" he whispered to Myth, "Run, or fight? Because if we fight, I'm at a bit of a disadvantage."

"For a jedi," Myth said calmly, "you're certainly eager to assume we're going to end up in a battle, aren't you?" She gave the Tusken an annoyed glance. "we're not. We're going to find out what he wants, and then if it comes to that we'll fight. Hannd or no hand. you can use the force."

"A jedi tries to aviod combat, but in this case it looks inevitable." The Force? As a weapon? CLuge had never thought of it in that aspect, but it was not the way a Jedi uses his sensitivity, but he was not a jedi now was he?

Myth grinned dryly. "Didn't your master teach you how to fight with your left hand, anyway? It's not like you're going to die if it comes to combact." She paused. "Well, you might."
