"I'm in, if it involves me becoming a cook and making a thermal det' double as a peice of food." THX Took off the front peice of armor and put it on the ground next to his helmet.

Aayla glanced around the group before continuing. "Here's my plan," she began. "We need someone who can get close to Jabba to do so, and then take him out. I'm afraid there's only one person here that can get that close to him, and I'm afraid that person is me."
The blue Twi'lek glanced around again. "But I might need backup," she hurriedly continued. "That's where you all come in. You will pose as members of Jabba's court, and provide help if I'm discovered. Do you all think you can handle that?"
Aayla wasn't sure if this was going to work for them, but at least it took most of the pressure off of everyone else. That was what she wanted. This was a large job, and if someone that didn't know what they were doing tried to take over, the results were sure to be disastrous.

((Uh, close?))
"If that's the way it'll run, I'm in." Echo looked at the Jedi. "Don't get too close," He warned, "That's what happened to his last one."

"I'm in too," said Hallia. "I've done some undercover work before. Fake personas are nothing new. Just be careful yourself, Master Aayla."
A hint of conscience reminded her that this sort of thing went against the Intergalactic Federation of Journalist's standards.
But I'm not a reporter right now, she told it. I got the boot, remember? So I'm just your average citizen. And average citizens don't care a bantha's behind for the IFJ standards.

"I.... know someone." He grimaced. "Someone on the inside, who may be able to help us, if we need it. I can contact her, if need be."
His smile was pained, "She's a bounty hunter, but there's a streak in her that I think I can turn to good use. If I can find her."

Aayla glanced around the group, listening to their warnings. "I assure you, I will be careful," she said quietly. "Don't worry about me. It is an honor for a Jedi to give her life for a worthy cause. I'm not afraid of that slug," she added with disgust.
The Twi'lek looked over at Hallia. "Are you sure you're going to be alright?" she asked in a whisper so low that only the reporter heard. "If I recall correctly, this doesn't exactly follow Journalist standards. If you wanna back out, there's still time to do it."

"Thanks for your concern," Hallia replied, equally quiet. "I will be fine. And in all honesty, journalistic standards don't apply to me at the moment. I'm... on a leave of absence... of sorts. It's complicated. But I'll be fine. I... I want to do this."

THX looked around at the group. Everybody had already warned her, so he didn't need to, but...She was a Jedi, so she knew what she was doing; he hoped. "I'm in."

"You are a brave woman, Master Secura, and your cause is noble, but is it really worth the risk? Being... who I am, I am familiar with Jabba's court, and with Jabba himself. I can't begin to tell you the things I have seen within those walls, nor do I think I could tell if I saw the need to." Thy shook his head -- remembering was painful, and once recalled, the memories wouldn't seem to go away. "I do not think your being a Jedi will help you much, either."
A knife appeared in his hand from somewhere up his sleeve, and he twirled it easily back and forth between his fingers as he continued. "I have grudges against Jabba as well," he glanced pointedly at the Ohcean, "but I don't know that even revenge is worth putting your life in that kind of danger -- the kind that will get you killed. That kind of sacrificed will not count for much in any kind of cause. In Jabba's court, you will not even be remembered as a martyr."
The Corellian shook his head, and the knife disappeared back up his sleeve. "You may not want warnings, but do think this through as much as you possibly can before acting. It could save your life."

THX saw the pain in Thy's eyes, and decided that he would have to ask more about him when he got the chance. But right now was not the time for it. They had planning to do. "How are we going to get in," he asked, knowing that he would find out eventually, but didn't care much for waiting for that kind of info.

"Good idea," THX said. He finished taking off his armor, again revealing the red tunic and pants, as well as black boots. "We all need diguises, though. I could pose as Jango Fett, I suppose. But It might not do much good."

"What should I go as?" asked Hallia. "I'm not sure if I'm bodyguard material. Smuggler or bounty hunter, maybe, but I'm not nearly brawny enough to pass as a bodyguard."

"There may be no need for disguises. Jabba's court is not a quiet place, and a person can easily make himself, or herself, unseen, if they wish. Anyway, if we are forced to act early, a disguise will have to be thrown off, will it not? Anything too much may be a hinderance."

Aayla nodded her head in agreement. "Indeed," she commmented. "A disguise unneeded might hinder later. Hallia, I suggest you go as something simple, like a HoloNet news reporter or something."
Turning her attention away, the blue Twi'lek gazed at the darkening horizon. Her lekku twitched in irritation as she thought again of the closeness to the repulsive slug that her mission required.

THX smiled. "Mandalorians are not known for uselessness. Everything about them, right down to their armor, has a use. If we could get some of that really old aromor though, it might not get in the way of people who are not used to stiff body armor as I am. Echo, you may want at least a helmet. If you're recogonized, we all lose our cover."
