The Shadow's Rim is a Cantina on Coruscant-- one place that allows a peace. There is no fighting allowed in the cantina-- and, at the moment, it is ran only by droids. (unless we get someone who wants to own it) The place is implanted with Ysalimiri-- the Force does not exist there. It's really the only place where people can stay, and not argue over petty differences. Violence is not permitted-- you have to be nuetral here, or face your eminant destruction... snrk.

Cloud sat in a dark corner of the room, keeping a vigilant eye on his surroundings, as he always did. His got a message from a woman who wanted him to meet her here, but who or why he did not know. This was one of the few places he could actually relax a bit, and so he did, but he was still watching. Mostly to keep his eyes open. Closing them would only bring back that horrible moment. The one moment he was absolutely helpless... It was four years ago, when he was with his parents on a business trip to Naboo. They were out walking when they were attacked by bandits. He fought his best but was knocked unconcious. His parents were killed, but he was thought to be dead and was left alive. That day he swore vengeance on the bandits, that he would hunt down and kill every last one of them. "If only she would be here soon!" he said to himself. "I need to get my mind on to something else."

"Impatient, aren't you?"
Lania Cellenoth walked into the inn casually-- holding a fell of dangerto her though she did not have the Force in this Inn. Dark cloak, lightsaber clipped at her waist-- she was a fine picture of what she was-- a Sith. He keeps his eyes open... he should be a fine apprentice to train even if I cannot train another, she thought, looking over her to-be apprentice from where she stood near the entrance.
The Sith crossed over to him quickly, continuing to hold the same feeling about her as she took a seat across from him. She had the feeling that if the Force had been present, she would've felt a hasty air to him, and a feel for vegence-- he had his mind on something else. But what?
Well, you know very well that you can fin dout easy enough, Lania.
She held her hand out to the wary young man. "Lania Cellenoth," she introduced herself...

Cloud shook hands with her. The woman seemed young, and still not so young at the same time. He reminded himself that he had to be careful. It could be a trap of some sorts. A lot of people wanted the small fortune his father had left him. "Cloud Strife. What do you want with me?"

((assuming that Raven did stick with the Jedi, I'm talking to Cloud here. And on Mykrk, but that's all right... Elachi isn't going to kill Lania.))
"You know what I want," Lania answered softly. "You know what you want-- training." She took a seat, conscious of the fact that he could be an enemy, a Jedi spy sent after her-- but she didn't feel that kind of emotion from him. Though there was no feeling of the Force at the Shadow's Rim, she still had an idea of what this one was like-- his eyes showed a darkness, and wariness as well.
"I'm no enemy of yours, if that is what you fear," she added. "That is, unless you turn to the Jedi's side."

Cloud was silent. This was what he wanted most of all in this world. Power. He had spent the last few years in training, learning how to fight with different weapons. But that was nothing compared to this. Now he would never be left helpless again, and he would get his revenge. Heknew that if he joined the dark side there would be no way back. Not that it mattered. He didn't have much to live for anyway. "I accept. It's only one thing though. Why did you choose me?" Cloud wasn't sure if he could trust her. He would go with her, but he would continue to watch his back.

She smiled slightly, and almost for a moment showed true happiness at the fact that he would actually think to ask such a question. "I choose you because you had the potential I wanted in an apprentice-- the darkness, and grief that was in an earlier life, but you did not allow it to completely overrun who you were. I did not choose you, Cloud Strife, destiny chose us."
Lania had the idea that he was willing to go along, but still quite wary. She didn't mind that at all-- it was better for a Sith's apprentice to be like such. The training he would go through would be a challence, but in the end, his power would be great. Because of that, she too watched her back, in case there was a betrayal.

When Cluge saw the poor excuse of a pub he looked up at the sign that read "Shadow's Rim". Cluge tried to sense if anyone was there but felt nothing. "Yslarmi." was the thought that crept through his mind. He would be with out the force in this place, but his training with a lightsabre was formidable. He stepped into the cantina and saw dark figures in the shadows. "The most wretched hive of scum and villany," he thought to himself. He sat down on a stool at the bar and requested a cup of jawa juice to help waste the time of the arrival of his worst nightmares.

((Wrong. Problems, sithhunter:
You don't sense ysalimiri, you sense the effect.
You're not even an apprentice, you are not that skilled with a lightstaff-- you could use basic fighting skills, but your race does NOT make you a deadly fighter without being trained.
Where'd the dark outfit come from?
The Shadow's Rim is on Coruscant, you dont take a ship here. A landspeeder, yes.
And what's with the quote mark when there was no dialoge? Thoughts in quotes, or italics are fine, but try to use proper punctuation at times.
And, echothepadawan, it's not THAT bad of a place... don't insult Eowyn's cantina! Now, I can't capture you yet-- have to wait until Daki posts.))
Lania turned around from where she had been talking to Cloud. She had heard someone come in-- she was waiting for someone as it was, so she was a bit more jumpy than she would've liked. She gazed at the door and watched the Jedi Padawan come in-- obviously uneasy with being in such as place. So, he's come then...
She watched carefully-- there appeared to be another Jedi nearby, standing just outside. They would send another... And there was another one come in. She knew this one-- Raven. The undecided angel couldn't stay away. She smiled darkly-- three Jedi, if Raven could be counted and Cluge as a Padawan-- not that bad. She'd seen worse-- plus she didn't know whether they were after her, or not. There was such thing as coincedence...
Rising to her feet, she pulled her hood up and crossed the room, wary of any possible traps, and keeping her eyes out, and ears open for anything that could signal such. The lack of the Force in such a place caused her to have to be more aware as she stepped across.

Cloud wondered why the woman suddenly walked away. But then he noticed the two people that just came through the door. A tusken, and a being unlike anything he'd ever seen before. No matter who they were, he could sense that these three, Lania and those two, had some unfinished business. He didn't need the Force for these things. Actually, it was more like he couldn't use the Force. To him, it had only been a tingly feeling out of his reach. But he didn't use that as an excuse for weakness. Instead, he had learned to read people, as well as their situations without any help from the Force. He calmly sank back into the shadows and watched.

Cluge drank down half the juice when he heard footfalls behind him. A cloaked figure with a hood. Cluge examined the being out of the corner of his eye and saw his cloak move with his step and a lightsabre was revealed, a familair one. "She's here," he thought to himself. She sat on the stool beside him and he asked, "Yslarmi infested bars aren't usually my choice to get a drink but you said it'd be worth my while." he said trying not to sound conspicous to the other bartenders. "Who was that you were talking to, new boyfriend?"

Shadow smirked. "Yeah.. new boyfriend." She rolled her eyes-- noting from one side that Cloud was keeping a close eye on the other-- possibly now-- Jedi apprentice. That was well, he'd make a good Sith with such characteristics. She took quick steps to sit beside Cluge-- she was almost surprised that he had came. The Sith rested her hand on her cloak where her lightsaber sat, almost dangerously-- just an absentminded warning that she was not going to be peaceful if there was a trick here.
"So, you made it. Decent cantina, no?" She quickly switched her position, one leg crossed over the other so that she could look him closer without seeming too prying. Shadow changed to speak in Tusken. "So, how did you escape that master of yours, hmm? That Taania?"

"The drink isn't terrible, but stealing one's ture power seems quite hostile," the Tusken said taking a sip from his half full juice. "My master's busy with other matters..." his voice trailed off. "How do you know her?" he said in surprise. Cluge's mind raced. "How?" he thought.

//Hey!!!! I was going to tell him ONE OF THESE DAYS! /dodges thwacks\ Be nice! Darn you Jedi.\\
Shadow shrugged. "It's either that or they risk fights breaking out. Without the Force, and with the weapons sensors that go off when a blaster is fired, a lightsaber flicked on, or something like that-- it's actually almost safe here." She signaled to the barkeep droid, and had him bring her a glass of something to drink-- some fairly decent purple drink that she couldn't put a name to.
Cluge trailed off in speaking to her, suddenly catching her comment on Taania.
"Ah. Well, it's good to see that Taania doesn't get all wrapped up in matters she doesn't belong in anymore," Shadow commented, choosing her words very carefully. "For a Jedi Knight, she was never very thoughtful, and far too hasty for her own good." She carefully evaded the question about how she knew the Jedi, skipping around that topic nervously.

((Shadow, i think it's time to accelerate your plans))
Cluge saw her nervousness. "You diddn't answer my question. How do you know my master?" The tusken stared into her eyes and noticed an icy blue shade in them, that matched Taania's gaze. "You're related to her, aren't you?" Cluge demanded.
