((Sure, then. I have no idea what I want to happen, so I'll go where my fingers take me. I'll make time for Cloud's training, have no fear. This could turn out to be interesting.))
A mental curse resounded within Elachi's skull. His finger had twitched, the muscles aching with the need to be still. He lacked the control he had in other places where he could feel things properly, not like this place.
He began to shape his mouth to place the resonating point of his voice out in the middle of the hall, making him effectively difficult to trace by ear. He'd learned how to throw his voice from an old adept within the Temple, and thanked his teacher silently as he spoke. "I've seen many things, but never a dark one hiding in a place that strips her of her power. A dangerous position to put oneself in, is it not?"

((Sry about not repliying, I've been a bit wrapped up within a nother plot lately, so yeah. no time for RPGing here lately, or else I've just been a bit to lasy for my own good. Forgive the spelling, I'm not bothering to correct th emistakes as they come-- typing fast. Don't have much time on the net right now.))
Lania smirked slightly, a smile on her face that revealed her own thoughts. "Why woudl I be worried? You're as powerless as I am here, Jedi. Dangerous, but nto that dangerous."
He was skilled, she reflected, casting his voice in order to distract her. Without the Force, this one was dangerous. "You risked the same thing as I did, coming here-- but you risked more when you didn't try to escape. I didn't want this to become a battle."
She ignored the fact that this Jedi was trying to make himself appear in the hall by casting his voice. Twas a trick she didn't have, but an interesting one, nevertheless. "What would happen if a Jedi killed someone here, without the Force, hm? Would you turn to my side if you killed me here?" Lania enjoyed using comments such as these in order to get her thoughts straight. Normally she didn't fight on a planet without the Force-- it was an interesting challenge for her now.

She was likely trying to trick him into revealing his position, he knew. Instead, he projected his voice to a point less than half a meter in front of her face. "The light and dark are both in the Force and in us. I would start a mindset that would continue in me even after getting out of this Forceless bubble. And why do you say you didn't wish for this to become a battle? You risked pursuit when you made off with the youngster in the first place."

Lania closed her eyes and attempted to ignore the Jedi's voice projected in front of her face. She could feel the fury that was habit rising within her, but burried it to answer. "I did not "make off" with the youngster. He was snooping aboard my ship when I choose to leave, and you decided to follow. Unlike you appear to think, I am not a kidnapper. I look merely for willing talent in the Force."
Shekept her eyes closed and merely listened for the signs that would give away his location on board her ship instead of the voice he cast to deceive her.Lania knew he was there somewhere, and knew she could locate him as well. It would just take time.

Elachi smiled grimly. "Whether or not he came into your ship of his own accord, the right was yours to push him off. But I have a proposal for you."

Shadow kept her eyes in front of her, allowing no trace of anything to seep through her voice. "Do you now? What is it?" A simple question, with a hopefully simple answer as well.

The answer came back every bit as untraceable as before. "Walk out of this ship, into the forest, in a straight line for a full five minutes. When you come back, I will be gone and we may pretend this has never happened. I believe, by the tone of your voice if nothing else, that you don't desire conflict at the moment."

She spoke, her voice dull and void of any emotions. "And what then of I, Jedi? You would take my ship, and leave me stranded on this Forceless planet. I would accept your offer, but to be left without a ship that has served me well for many years is not something I would easily accept... if merely to avoid conflict, I do not mean to leave my ship. You have guessed correctly-- I do not wish to leave here in two or more pieces, and that means avoiding conflict if at all possible."

Elachi smiled in his hideaway. "Ah...no. You mistake my intentions. I have no desire to steal your ship. Instead, I will be leaving, and as you'll be off in the forest neither of us will see each other. I trust I'll be able to find some form of transportation off this Force-forsaken planet. What do you say?"

"Not that sight alone will make much difference-- you have seen my face, if nothing else, and we know the others voice." Shadow bowed stiffly to the darkness that hid the Jedi from her sight and turned. "I admire your courage, Jedi. You have five minutes." She paused. "Or more, ten, as you say for me to walk that far. If nothing else, I trust you will keep to your half of this... truce... and forget you seen me. Until next time, unknown one."
She turned, and walked from the ship, grimacing slightly, as she didn't know that he wasn't lying. If nothing else, she still would be true to her word-- he had five minutes to leave her ship and be gone before she returned. In the meantime, however, she would enjoy the scenery the was in the area.

"Truce," Elachi muttered as soon as she was out of hearing range, and waited for a few more minutes. My word is my bond.
They seemed to pass slowly, those few minutes, and then he rose in trust that she wouldn't be there to skewer him when he exited the ship.
And she wasn't. His mood somewhat lightened, he walked away carefully, his hand tight around his lightsaber. Who knew what lurked in these forsaken woods.

//Aye, sorry. I've been a little too wrapped up within another plot to post here.\\
Shadow walked the full five minutes into the woods, quite conscious of the possible predetors, and other dangers-- without the Force, she was nearly akin to an ordanary person. My word is my word, though a weakness it may seem. The Sith didn't exactly want to be killed-- not when there was so much that had to be done. She trusted that the Jedi would keep to his word, and not follow her to catch her completely off guard.
But he didn't, and she walked the distance in peace-- something that was not exactly present in the typical Sith's mind at all times. Shadow sat down after the five minutes had passed to wait out a few more-- just in case-- her hand on her lightsaber as she watched for any danger.

((Snrk...it would be funny if they collided in the forest...heehee. And I understand you've been busy, anyway.))
Peace was the last thing on Elachi's mind. He'd spent the last ten minutes hacking his way through underbrush, avoiding stinging insects, and having a close encounter with a nasty-looking beast possessing a long whip-like tail. He'd managed to slice the compact, muscular creature into three pieces, though, and hoped more wouldn't come.
But he had to face the truth. He was lost, without senses or signs to guide him to any sort of clutch of civilisation. He could only hope...in luck.
Elachi gritted his teeth. Believing in luck...it was nigh on anathema to all he was, but it was all he could rely on, now. That and his own Forceless wits.

//It would be... because then they've seen each other... and, well, that would not be too good. You want to-- literaly-- run into Shadow?\\
Walking the ways back back to the Galaxy Blade was not quite so peaceful-- it seemed that the forest was against her reaching it safely. Pure luck that she did not run into any predetors, because she was pretty sure that without the Force she couldn't have fought them... and won. Fairly low thoughts for a Sith, but that was what she was thinking. The bugs were bad enough.
"Aiya," she muttered. "T'was five to walk this lenght, and how long have I been hacking my way back?!" Shadow shook her head. She was fairly sure she wasn't on the straight path anymore back to her ship.

((Yeah, perhaps she should've, but it's a little late for that now that she's way out in the bush.
Well, Shadow, do you want Elachi to run into your character? It would be rather amusing...heh.))
All right, thought Elachi after half an hour of travel. I'm not going to get instant results...I must be patient.
Perhaps I could climb a tree.
He craned his neck until he was looking far up into the canopies above him.
On second thought, some of those creatures look somewhat carnivorous.
He plunged through the shrubs once again, slicing through vines, branches, and all manner of vegetation. Force below, I hope I'm not wandering in circles. He couldn't be completely sure he was travelling in a straight line; normally he used his senses to detect the magnetic poles and field of a planet for navigation. But with that gone...

[/shrugs\ I didn't think of marking my ship. In reality, I'm normal, and don't think like that, though I would check to make sure that no one had put a homing becon on my ship.
Amusing... yes... might be intersting to write, if naught else. And since I'm repeatedly missing you, LotG hasn't gone anywhere, so if nothing else, this one should move. Go for it... it could be fun]
Shadow cursed creatively in Huttese-- something she had picked up, living on Tatooine for a time a while back. I'd try to get somewhere where I could see but this planet is rather unhospitable, she thought darkly, withdrawing her lightsaber. It lit with a snap-hiss, and shed a little light over the dark-seeming forest. The blue glow didn't create a cheerful light, but if nothing else it gave her a way to get through the incredibly think underbrush.
"Is there no end to this?" she hissed. "I was sure that Jedi had more reason to his seemingly simple bargin... without the Force." She snorted, and continued to attempt to weave a way through the unending trees. But even if she was to find a clearer area, there was no way she could be sure she would find her ship again.
With this Force-accursed luck I've been having, I'm probably walking in a circle. She swung her blade, and cut down a bit of the underbrush. At this rate, Shadow was sure she'd be there all day, and evening as well.

Elachi detected the faint wisp of ozone.
Oh, it wasn't much, but it was there. He knew that smell intimately. It spoke of one of three likely things: lightning, blaster shots, or an activated lightsaber.
And for the last two, there will be a sentient accompanying the weapon. He followed the trail...until the bluish glow in the underbrush caught his eye.
