(I guess I'll start...I put my character sheet up already)
A black-cloaked figure walked in from the hangar. They walked over to the rail, where all you could see for miles was water. Lots of it. The figure sighed and removed their hood, revealing the face of Shaya Starr. Her emerald eyes scanned the surface of the glistening water as she thought of different things.
Manaan, as this planet was commonly called, was almost deserted these days. But Shaya found that helpful - and calming. She'd always gone away to Manaan with her father, Luik Starr, when she was little to rest for the day. They would spend hours talking about different things. Shaya missed that now. She had missed it ever since the day that Jedi came and ruined everything...
[Flashback]
Shaya and Luik walked towards their favorite spot - right next to the rail - where you could see the sea for miles.
"It's beautiful, Daddy." Ten-year-old Shaya said.
"Yes," Luik started,"it is."
Then, from behind them, Shaya heard a voice. "Luik Starr. I never thought I'd see the day."
Shaya and Luik turned around, confused, to see a Jedi robed in the traditional robes of the Jedi. He held his lightsaber in his hand, but didn't turn it on. Yet.
"Who are you?" Luik questioned, becoming hostile immediately.
The Jedi smirked. "Oh? Who am I? You don't remember, do you, old man?"
Luik looked confused, yet angered.
"It's me, good ol' Graii Haldor." The Jedi started again, still holding his smirk,"Let me jog your memory, Luik. I found you on Corellia five years ago. I had been sent then, just as I have been sent now. You were wanted for smuggling. That was it. But you made things difficult."
Luik took Shaya by the shoulders and pushed her forward, showing the Jedi they were not going to put up with this.
But Graii held his arm in front of them. "You killed my brother, Rakii Haldor. For no reason."
Luik's brow furrowed.
Graii nodded,"Yes. You did. Now I seek revenge. But, I have to admit: you did quite well hiding from us, Luik. You did very well."
Luik said,"I did not kill anyone!"
"Oh," Graii replied, turning on his lightsaber,"you did. You did. Now I will finally be able to rest, Luik."
"No," Luik said in a hoarse whisper,"Shaya, run. Get help."
Shaya protested,"But Dad--"
"Now, Shaya!" Luik said, but he knew help wouldn't come in time.
Shaya did as Luik commanded, but when she returned, she knew why he had told her to run.
Shaya cried, running over to his bloodied limp body,"No!Daddy! No, Daddy, you're gonna be ok. Help's on the way."
Luik's eyes fluttered closed as he said his last words,"I love you, Shaya. I always will."
"No, Daddy! Don't leave!" She sobbed, holding her father's limp hand. "No..."
[End of flashback]
A tear slid down Shaya's face, but she quickly wiped it away. Concealing her face once more under her black hood, she walked away from that painfully memorable place.

I knw some more about Maanan. The only above water city/ spaceport is called Ahto City, and they export kolto from there, which is a bacta-type healing substance. The native species are called Selkath and are kind of Mon Cal-ish.

The MoonStreak's hull was on fire blazing down towards the planet. The asteroid collision was intense and sent the ship out of hyperspace and the gravity of the planet pulled the ship into the atmosphere. The craft's only passenger was Jedi knight Alexander trying to regain control of the raging inferno. A small spot of land appered on the monitor. Using this island as his last hopoe he turned the ship into a crash course to a sand bar near the island. Might permantly damage the ship, he thought, but it'll save my life. The ship broke the sound barrier with a bang jerking the ship and knocking the jedi uncouncis.

Shaya wandered around East Ahto City when she saw a Manaan's one and only cantina,"The Purple Star." She sighed and decided to have a drink.
Seating herself on the barstool, Shaya got the bartender's attention.
"Yes?" The man asked, walking over to her.
"I'd like a glass of Juri juice please," She replied, lifting the corners of her mouth in an artificial polite smile.
After a moment, the bartender returned and gave it to her,"Two credits please."
She nodded and dropped two coins on the counter and sipped the last of her juice.
Finding an empty booth in the back of the cantina, Shaya sat down at leaned forward on the table, suppressing a heavy sigh. She folded her arms and buried her now aching head in her black sleeves, letting herself slip into a much-needed sleep.

Al awoke with another bang. he was going so fast that the friction of the air was burning the hull of his ship. The map flashed on agian with an image of a city nearby. My crash might draw some attenion, he thought. Al diddn't want to be marooned and lost. Alex braced himself as he crashed a mile away from the city with a noise that could wake a sarlacc creature.

Shaya jumped from the sound of a distant crushing sound of metal, and quickly sat up straight in the mostly-empty cantina. She stratched and slid out of the seat, wondering what time it was.
Walking out of the cantina, Shaya blinked her sea-green eyes and yawned. She looked at the sky, and noticed that the sun was just sinking over the orange horizon.
As she turned to walk towards the nearest inn, Shaya saw a large pillar of smoke in the dusky distance. I wonder if that's from the crash I heard... She thought, studying it for a moment. Oh well. It's not like there's anything I can do. She shrugged, returning to her path.
Soon after that, Shaya found herself in the lobby of the inn,"The Haaki Inn." She sighed and walked to the counter, painting yet another artificial smile on her face, saying to the Selkath manager in the Selkath language,"Hello, I'd like a room for the night."
The Selkath looked at her with its beady eyes and said in Selkath,"Yes, here's the key. That'll be ten credits."
Shaya dropped the credits on the counter and walked down the hall, thinking,I'm glad my father made me read those Selkath language guides...
She walked into her room and closed the silvery door, locking it behind her. She threw herself on the bed, and laid there for a long time, unable to sleep.

The hatch popped open on the crashed ship. The Jedi stumbled out of the crater and observed his sorroundings. A city, not too far away. Alex walked slowly to the city. "Troubled people dwell here." he said to himself as he reached a hotel. A selkath waited at the table. "Excuse me, can I get a room?" His response he did not understand. "Um," al said, "Ten credits for one night?" he tried to gesture. "Here's a key thanks for your time." It spoke in perfect basic as it took his credits and gave him the key. "thanks." Al replied in monotone. Alex walked up to his room and the feeling he felt came stronger, more enhanced, full of anger. Alex decide to knock on the door and see what was so dreadfully angry.

Shaya jumped when she heard the knock on her door. Her mind and heartbeat alike raced as she thought of what she should do.
Think, Shaya, come on...there must be something you can do...
She was completely silent, hoping it would sound as if she was asleep.

Alex heard nothing from the room but a quick shuffle of feet. He's awake. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. Quietly he sneaked away to his room where he instantly fell deep asleep.

Shaya couldn't help but grin when she heard whoever it was at her door walk away; down the hall. She got up from the floor, and sat on the edge of her bed, racking her brain as to what to do about this person.
Who knows, She thought,it could have just been the inn's manager...
She shrugged and laid down on the blue-silver bed, but was unable to sleep for some time.
After becoming completely and totally frustrated with no avail to her attempts to fall asleep, Shaya soundlessly walked to the door and poked her head outside. The coast was clear. She walked quietly to the lobby and walked up to the manager's counter, asking him in Selkath,"Excuse me, do you have something - anything that I could use to help me fall asleep?"
The manager nodded his slimy head and replied in Selkath,"Yes. Hold on."
Shaya tapped her finger on the counter while she waited.

Alex woke up drowsly (sp?) the next morning amd wemt to the lobby. "Thank you for the accomadations." he said to the Clerk. Still no sign of that person. Geuss he left. The jedi walked out of the hotel and searched for the nearest hanger. He saw a map written in another language he diddn't understand. "Sent to do a secret mission and then try to return to the temple and crash-land on a planet whose language you diddn't understand." he siad in frustration to the sign. Calm down, just go back to the hotel and find a guide. When he got to the Hotel he tried to talk to the clerk but this one diddn't understand him. "Please, can I find a guide to the hangar?"

Shaya, meanwhile, hadn't woken up from her deep sleep. When she did, she quickly fixed her disheveled clothes and brushed her honey-blonde hair, putting it in a braid and sliding her arms into her cloak's sleeves, lifting the hood up around her head.
Walking down the silvery hallway, Shaya stopped dead when she saw a Jedi trying to communicate with the Selkath manager. Stay calm, She reminded herself, just return the key and walk away...
She walked to the counter and dropped the key, and saying to the manager in perfect Selkath,"Thank you for the stay. See you later." The manager nodded, and Shaya started to walk for the door, hoping the Jedi wouldn't take any notice of her.

"Excuse me, Did you just speak thier language? I need to find a hangar to repair my ship. It crashed yesterday and I don't think I can fix it but I need a specalized mechanic to help fix it but I can't talk to them so... will you help me?" Alex usually diddn't plead to strangers, but the information in the banks on his ship was vital to the temple and he was in a tight spot.

Shaya ground her teeth and spun on her heels, now facing the Jedi, but not saying anything immediately. She thought. Long and hard.
"Yes, I spoke their language. I've known it for most of my life." She finally said after what seemed an eternity,"and yes, I'll help you..."
Her voice trailed off as the reality of the situation hit her, Shaya, what are you doing?! She scolded herself, Who knows who the heck he is, and if he just wants to kill you, or if... She bit her lip, stopping both her thoughts and what she was saying.
"Um," She started,"I...I dunno. What exactly is it that you so obviously need a stranger's help with?"

"My ship crashed a mile from here and I can't repair it. I'm no mechanic. So do yo know where one is?" Alex felt her uneasyness trembling her. Now instead of anger for a split second fear, untold fear. "It is nessecary to get back to the temple quickly so any help would be appreciated."
