Heeheehee...HEEHEEHEE...chicken...
And I never said anything about arguing. It's good to have differing opinions sometimes, anyway.
I don't know...I don't like Avalon that much. Depends on how good the trance/techno remix is, though. And...what song would that remix be, with Obi-Wan in it? Hmm? Snrk.

It's some Techno Star Wars thing-- I think it sounds cool-- they mixed in lines from the movie, that's why it has Obi-Wan in it... it's called Techno Jedi Master. *rolls eyes* Pathetic, I know... snicker.
Hmmm? Parody songs? Snicker... I've wrote LotR spoofs of Veggie Tales songs, eh Jandalf? You remember Oh Precious, DON'T you?
I LIKE Avalon. *pouts* Different opinions are fine, by the way-- I like my music, you like yours. As long as I don't have to listen to all of it... meh.

The Supertones are actually going to be at my church tonight along with John Reuben for the Back to School Jam. I'll let you all know if they say/wear anything related to Star Wars...
Hmm... I haven't heard of any techno electronic Christian bands...

this is a very cool thread! I like DC talk quite a bit and Third Day's lead singer has a fabulous voice!

Third Day's lead singer DOES have an awesome voice! My mom likes them, but they aren't quite my style...
Has anyone ever heard of a Christian group called Inhabited? I hear one of their songs on the rdio, but can't find the CD...

My problem is that I know the songs when I hear them on the radio, but I don't know the artist's names.

I actually know who a lot of the artists are, so if you have any questions, Cenerue, post them on here and I'll try to tell you who sings the song. What radio station do you listen to? I usually listen to Air1 (90.1 where i live).

Well, I usually listen to it at work, on the computer and even tho I live in Florida, I usually listen to a station out of California called KLOVE. They have their own website, KLOVE.com and that's where I first heard a lot of the songs.
I just bought my first Michael W. Smith album and I can't listen to "Above All" without crying.

Hmm... never heard of KLOVE, and I live out in California.... You work? Must be older than quite a few of us, then...
"Above All" makes me cry, too! We sing it at youth group sometimes and I get all choked up...

I can play that song on the piano! *grins* Plus I can play a great deal of others... heh. Anyone else know "Reign in Me" or "Here I am to Worship"?? Great songs, those. Sigh... I'm getting tired of all these songs making me cry! AGGHHH!!!! Above All is certainly on that list... heeheehee.

We sing "Here I am to Worship" at youth group a lot! Very excellent song. My favortie worship song would have to be "Breathe". I absolutely LOVE it! Doesn't make me cry, though...
Anyone like Sixpence None the Richer?

I heard of them... but I don't really like them because they call themeslves Christian and they don't sing about Christian stuff, and that's fine, but at least admit it!

I HATE IT WHEN BANDS DO THAT!!!! *coughlikecreedcough*
But I heard their newest CD (which is about two years old, but still) and a lot of their songs were about God, or at least I could tell that they were singing about Him.
I really love Switchfoot, but sometimes it's a little hard to find God in their songs. Still love "The Beautiful Letdown" CD, though...

*coughcreedhasneverbeenachristianbandcough* I read multiple interviews from when they first started, and the lead singer guy *coughforgothisnamecough* *coughishavingacoughingfitcough* grew up in a super strict Catholic home, so that's just how he writes his music. So don't flame then 'cause they said they're Christian, 'cause they never were. Other people might have said it, but not them.
Ever heard of Kids in the Way? Super good rock band.... Sing the song Phoenix *sniff* beautiful song. And I love phoenixes....

Have you heard the new CD? It isn't, sadly, as good as the last two, as it's sort of more hard-ish rock, and not their original song, but it's still super good.
"SHE LIKED YOU WEDNESDAY, BUT NOW IT'S FRIDAY, AND SHE HAS TO WASH HER HAIR......"
Best song... so true.....

Ooo, yea for Relient K! That's gotta be one of my favorite groups. I also like Jake and the Newsboys. Michelle Toons isn't that bad, and neither is BarlowGirl. I have a great dislike for Creed. They sound like they're dieing. There are also a bunch of other bands I don't like because they sound just like them. Third Day is one of them, but at least Third Day actually sings Christian songs. Jump 5 is another one of those "I'm a Christian but I'm not going to say Jesus in any of my songs" groups. That annoys me. Yah... One final word (or words): Go Relient K!!!!!!!!! Yahhhhhhhhhhhhhooooooooo!!!!!!

lol, yes, their newest cd isn't as good as the old 'uns. it's the only one I've got though. Has anyone found the hidden "song" at the end of Jefferson Aero Plane? It's a rap, feturing Matt T as the World's Worst Freestyle Rapper... It sooooo FUNNY! If you don't know where to find it, fast forward to like 7 mins, 10 seconds and wait. On no. 15.

Oh, that song is SO funny! Has the new Relient K CD come out ALREADY? I want it... Oh, wait, are you all taking about "Two Lefts Don't Make a Right, but Three Do?" I like that one... i like "Moodring"! Funny song, and actually quite true... But Relient K is recording a new album now. Don't know when it's coming out...
Tobymac also has a new CD coming out soon. I don't usually take to rap, but I LOVE him. His new song, which has been playing on Air1, is called "Gone". I like it a whole lot! He actually sings a bit more in that song than a lot of his others... It also has a lovely beat...
The only reason I like Creed is because of the guitar player's mad skills. I mean, seriously, the guy is talented and I like listening to him play.
