I don't ride horses... it's no fun for me... heh, I cracked my skull on a volleyball pole, I tripped over my friends shoe on a rotation. If I had a horse I would name it Mr. Involved in honor of Sean Astin. And it would be a safety oriented horse.

It was in August up in London. And while I didn't meet Andy Serkis, I met Craig Parker (Haldir), Mark Ferguson (Gil-Galad), Jed Brophy (Snaga), Paul Norell (King of the Dead), aand the actors who played certain orcs and elves. I also met Richard Taylor and Tania Rodgers, John Howe and Alan Lee, and Daniel Falconer. And Royd Tolkien.
I was so so so hyper afterwards...

Ah, man. I wish I had a lot of money... Ahhhhh.... a Tolkien. The closest I've ever gotten was a research paper in ninth grade that was three pages longer than it was supposed to be.

I don't have a lot of money. I just have an extremely understanding mother ;D
Royd Tolkien's really nice. When me, in all my cloaked fangirlishness glory, went and asked if I could take my photo with him, he said "Sure! Big cheesy grins now."

Awww... My mother laughs at me when I wear my cloak. *snrk* Yeah. The only 'famous' people I've ever met were the members of Kutless, and that was about a thirty-second confrontation. 'Twas cool anyway, though. You're still the luckiest person I know.

My mother laughed at me when I wore my cloak too. She soon stopped when we got there and saw what everyone else was wearing...
Elves, soldiers, dwarves, hobbits and orcs as far as the eye could see!

Bah. My friends and I dressed up for RotK, but didn't even make it to the premier, because it was a Wednesday night. Curse school forever. It was only two days after, but we were the only people who dressed up. Might funny, that. Spent the whole time making fun of the Bloomies... *snrk*

Heeheehee. That IS fun. I always dress up when they have all-night screenings of all three films at the IMAX cinema. Last time I was a Ringwraith, and the time before that, I was Legolas, and apparently looked scarily like him.

It is cool on that big a screen. Sadly, I always seem to fall asleep about 45 minutes in. But it is nearly 4am by that point... some time I will make sure I get some napping done during TTT.
Thing is, you don't know you've fallen asleep till you wake up. And I always end up dreaming about watching the film - but weird things happen during the film... so I'll be watching the Riders of Rohan, and suddenly Eomer will ride up and yell "ROHIRRIM! WE'RE GOING TO DISNEYLAND!", or a Ringwraith will fly past wearing a massive purple Mexican hat, and I'll realize I'm asleep...

Fair enough...
Also, at the LOTR marathon I met some great friends, who ran over as soon as they saw I was dressed up...
