Chocolate is so good. *pats tummy* so yummy, if i didn't like it i'd look, well, less hobbit like and more...elf like. prefer hobbit like.
My friend and I did the dress up and go to marathon, I went as Legolas, which was great as I have Latex ears, only...they don't melt in rain or anything. We were the only ones dressed up, it was funny, he was arwen...which got people staring at him, but he made a good arwen, and i made a good legolas. We had a little to much fun i think...we did alot of Shrieking. witch is always fun.
I envy you Hobbit-Eyes, because you can get to London, which happens to be my favourite place in the WHOLE WORLD. after Vancouver of course. I also like Norwegian fishing villages but it's hard to get there.

London's pretty cool, I guess, but I can think of hundreds of places I'd rather live. Australia or New Zealand, for example. Once I have my medical degree, I'm leaving this wet cold country and heading down under! (waves flag)
I get my cape today! (happy squeal)

Not really. All you have to do is take your plane to our airport, drive for a few hours, and you're there. And where I live has more rain than England. When the Gulfstrem brings up bad weather, the clouds let out a little rain over you guys, and them empty themselves over our heads to get over the mountains.

ME too! And yes Thor, I do have family in Norway. They just don't seem to want to invite me there. Probably cuz I can't speak Norwegian. Which means I can't ask them. *gets angry*
Your planning for a Medical Degree? I going for Journalism and i want to take it in London. whichi is weird. I like Europe alot. Canada is cool, cuz sometimes its alot like Europe, particulairly Germany and Switzerland... at least in B.C. Not so much the rest. Our citys are rather british..but we are "British Columbians" so...

THE LOTR MARATHON WAS SO COOL!!!! THE SCREEN WAS MASSIVE!!!
Frodo's face was slightly alarming on so large a screen though... but the charge of the Rohirrim was ACE.
I wore a Legolas costume in the end! I was one of the only two dressed up, and, of course, made friends with the other person dressed up, who was a guy called Craig dressed as Merry. He looked scarily similar. And he won Best Costume. So I walked through Waterloo station in a Legolas costume and a little toy bow and arrows for nothing... wait, what am I saying? I'D DO IT AGAIN!!!
Anyway, only sad thing now is that it's over. But I am slightly wiser.
Also, in Lothlorien, when Aragorn goes to talk to Boromir, I could have sworn I saw a statue of an elf braiding its hair...

Well, I'll be looking into that! Last time I was in London, I kept telling people who'd sit next to me on the underground that i was an elf. and they'd kind of adjust themselves and i say no i really am. then i'd rant about That weird kid with the glasses... what's his name? Peeves: Potty Wee Rotter. and lord of the rings and there similaritys. I saw King Arthur when I was in London actully. That Square... with alot of cinemas... starts with an L.....lester or something...can't place it right now. I was fun.
I like to wear both my hobbit outfit and my elf outfit on regular occasions. so fun!

All you people are lucky. We went to RotK in my wee little town dressed up... heh heh. That was fun. Specially with all the preppy people who went, whom we were all making fun of. Heh heh.
I didn't have my cool cloak, though. I forgot it at home that day, so I was stuck with a black pseudo-dracula cloak. And a Jack shirt.. (from Nightmare before Christmas)
That was a fun night.

To the End of All Things, if it is deemed appropriate that they pass from the casually browsing member's view. Heh. Although quite unlikely, there's the faintest of faint chances that this one might start up again...you never know. Besides which, this section isn't very active at the moment, so we'll just leave it for those who want to come by now and again and pop stuff in.

Okay, random on-topic discussion. There's this scene in RotK, where the Witch King and Gandalf are having their exchange. Gandalf's staff has been broken, and he's sort of flopped on the ground, with the Witch King sitting his fell beast in triumph, flaming sword swung up high over his head. He starts to swing it down, and stops in mid-swing. It's because he hears the horns of the Rohirrim, but everytime I see it, I think, "Where will you be when your diarhea comes back?"
It's so very wrong, but it's so.... bah.
