Hey, apprentice of mine...I'm looking for a very special image. It's a girl standing on a wall/pier/somethingorother and looking out toward a stormy sea. You wouldn't happen to have it?

Master, these are the "ten commandments" of the Germans on using tanks from WWII.
1. The tank is a decisive combat weapon. Therefore, its employment should be limited to the "main effort" in suitable terrain.
2. The tank is not an individual fighting weapon. The smallest tank unit is the platoon, and, for more important missions, the company.
3. The tank is not an infantry support weapon. It breaks into, and through, the opposition's line, and the infantry follows it closely.
4. The tank can take and clear terrain, but it cannot hold it. The latter is the mission of the infantry, supported by infantry heavy weapons, antitank guns, and artillery.
5. The tank is not to be employed as artillery to fight the enemy from a single position for an extended period. While fighting, the tank is almost constantly in motion, halting briefly to fire.
6. The mission of the infantry is to neutralize hostile antitank weapons, and to follow the tank attack closely so as to exploit completely the force and morale effect of that attack.
7. The mission of the artillery is to support the tank attack by fire, to destroy hostile artillery, and to follow closely the rapidly advancing tank attack. The main task of the artillery support is continuous flank protection.
8. The task of the tank destroyers ("Ferdinands" or other self-propelled mounts equipped with high-velocity weapons) is to follow the tank attack closely, and to get into the battle promptly when tank fights tank.
9. The mission of the combat engineers is to open gaps in minefields--under tank, infantry, and artillery protection--and thereby enable the tank attack to continue.
10. At night, when tanks are blind and deaf, it is the mission of the infantry to protect them.
Es good, yes?

And for you mine sith apprentice. I need you to do some research on Shinomori Aoshi, his weapon choice and fighting style.

Shinomori Aoshi is the leader of the Oniwabanshu. He is a master at kempo and also with swords, particularly with kodachi. His was a former guard for the Tokugawa shoguns.
Ooooops...I'm not your apprentice, am I... bummer. *sulks*

Oh, Redrose, you do know how to get thyself in trouble.
Sorry Master! I'm working on some drawings (Very slowly coming along!) but I'm afraid I haven't been a very good little apprentice, have I? I'm thinking I may have to expel myself from the Temple. I have found my absence to be... disturbing. I'm kind of holding you back with my horrible procrastination/laziness/prioritizing skills. Perhaps I shall retire to some obscure corner of the galaxy, to work on my memoirs. Living a peaceful life, amongst the creatures of nature. Killing moogles... Ahhh...

Hey, Maeg! I am NOT in trouble!
Here is that info master. I couldn't find anything on the Americans, but I found some info on the Japanese at Pearl harbor. Here ya go, sir! ^_^
The attack on Pearl Harbor was one of the most brilliant tactical feats of the war. From 6 carriers which had advanced undetected to a position 200 miles north of Oahu, some 350 aircraft came in through the morning mist, achieving complete tactical surprise. They bombed and strafed the neatly aligned Army planes on Hickam and Wheeler Fields, as well as Navy and Marine Corps aircraft, and they carefully singled out as targets major units of the Navy's battle force at anchor in the harbor. Fortunately, the fleet's 3 carriers were away at the time, and the attackers failed to hit the oil tanks and naval repair shops on shore. But the blow was devastating enough. About 170 aircraft were destroyed and 102 damaged, all 8 battleships were sunk or badly damaged, besides many other vessels, and total casualties came to about 3,400, including 2,402 service men and civilians killed. Japanese losses were about 49 aircraft and 5 midget submarines. In an astonishing achievement, the enemy managed to apply in one shattering operation a combination of the principles of surprise, objective, mass, security, and maneuver. In its larger strategic context, the Pearl Harbor attack also exemplifies the principles of the offensive and economy of force. The joint Congressional committee investigating the attack called it the "greatest military and naval disaster in our Nation's history."
Hope this is okay.

Good. Now apply this strategy with what you know of the Clone Wars or Mandalorian war and where such an attack would have been as sucsessful. (note: This should be fun for you)

Sir, after doing much research I have concluded that the tactic from Pearl harbor would be most effective during the second battle of Cato Neomodia. The Republic had many ARC-170s and they could send out Captain Jai'galaar (who was the test pilot for the new 170s) and his squad to ambush the seperatist forces. Althouh stealth is a very good tactic for any battle, I beleive the Pearl Harbor tactics would have worked best in this situation, sir.
