In the space above Hoth Reisa Al'Kai was having engine trouble. "R6, how are things going in the engine room?" A discouraged whistle came through her comlink. "Perfect," she muttered. "R6, I'm taking us down to the planet. Secure as many loose wires and tubes as you can." And may the Force be with us She added grimly to herself.

Silence. Darkness. Voidless. Timeless. These are the particles of the infinite regions of space. Space was left undisturbed for centuries before the secret of Lightspeed was discovered, sending invaders to penetrate the silence that once prevailed.
Grand Admiral Zargo observed the Ifinite reaches from his chair on the bridge. The Annihilator had been in HyperSpace for four days, and the crew was getting restless. Zargo stood from his chair and walked to the Viewscreen. A small speck was coming in from the left. "Commander," he called to the jumpy infirior. "What is that?" he said as he pointed to the yellow glow. "The charts show a small system in that area, but..." Zargo tuned to him. "Yes commander?" "The planets and its star isn't there." Zargo leaned in to see the monitor with the projection on it. "What happened?" The Commander touched a few buttons to bring a visual. His jaw dropped. "Respond commander." He had turned a gahstly pale. "The sun went... SuperNova." Zargo stared at the screen. A whole star system... gone. he thought. "Take us out of lightspeed. We fly by too quickly we'll get caught in the shockwave." 16 billion people... dead. I couldn't do anything. I'm getting out of here. "I take my leave," he said and left the bridge.

((Nobody posted so, I'll continue.))
Zargo walked through the corridors of the SSD to the Shuttle Bay. I'v had enough. I'm hiring outside help. He boarded his Escort Shuttle and requested permission to disembark while he warmed up the engines. "Clearance granted, Depart at sector C-12." Annoying computers. No brain behind those chips. He cleared the docking moors and took off to the nearby system. After clearing the ships gravitational field he jumped to a nearby asteroid belt of the now dead system. This place would give Lord Vader the chills. He landed the shuttle on an asteroid and grabbed a breathing mask. The Rock had a strange mineral in it that gave off heat so it was war enough for people, but the air was too thin. Breathing was difficult even with a mask. Zargo Exited the loading ramp and looked around. "I know your here. Show yourself." he called into the blackness.

o O (Joint postiness)
Boba had watched the Admiral land the shuttle. When he called out like a frightened child he chuckled and stepped in front of the grey clad man. "What's wrong Zargo? Afraid of the dark I suppose. What's this meeting all about? I'm a busy man."
"I have a job for you."
"What kind of a job and how much?" For Boba the money was more important than the job.
"I need someone taken care of. 1/2 a million credits."
"Half a million?!" He laughed and the cold sound echoed on the dead moon. "Look Zargo, half a million barely covers my expenses. Plus I have to pay a few people for favors needed, equipment is getting rather hard to come by you know how it is."
"3 million and I'll get you the equipment." He figured if he was going to do this he might as well overpay him. Especially with this important of a job.
"Who's the guy?"
"He's not a guy exactly. More like a Jedi."
Boba scoffed. "For dealing with Jedi the price is raised. Have you ever met one of them? 4. The Slave could use a few upgrades."
"3 and a 1/2. The price goes no higher."
The bounty hunter smiled, knowing he had won. Whatever this guy wanted he was willing to give up quite a bit to get it. "Deal. Does this Jedi have a name?"
"His name is Luke Skywalker."
"Friend of Solo. Where can I find him?"
"Intelligence says he's based a new Jedi training area on Yavin Four. He might be there."
Boba nodded. "I want half payment in advance and equipment now."
"I'll have it shipped here at 0300 hours. And while you're in the neighborhood could you keep an eye out for this person? Bonus if you find her." He held out a datapad to the armor-clad warrior.
He eyed it warily. Shaggy blonde hair smoothed as best as possible, dark brown eyes looking trustingly at the world. "I'm not good with kids. Sorry Zargo. You'll have to find her on your own."
"I don't want you to bring her. Just find her coordinates and report back to me."
Boba sized up the Imperial. "What's she to you?"
"That is none of your concern. Just do your job and you will be amply rewarded."

Zargo Pulled out his comlink and contacted his ship. "Captain. I need a TIE Interceptor spare parts kit sent down to my corrindinates by 0300 hours. Zargo out." He clesed the communication and left the bone-chilling planet for the security of his SSD.

The small pod arrived safely and Boba kicked the latch open carelessly. There lying in various stages of production were all the weapons he had asked for, and more. A small round object lay on the top of the pile blinking furiously at him. "Aah you must be Seven." He pushed the button and waited.

((I've waited a long time to use this character.))
The Belt began to hum and light flickered while a grey torso expanded out of the belt. It "grew" legs, arms and its head appeared last. All grey. Its feet touched the ground and it stoodleaving the belt nearly suspended in a grey mass. Its head turned towards Boba Fett, and a laser from the belt scanned his armor. With a flash of light, the swirling grey mass transformed into a copy of a Mandalorian warrior, fullr suited and armed.

Boba huffed as the 'person' appeared in front of him. He truly had no use for these new inventions that they were always coming out with but if Zargo wanted him to use this thing to find the girl he would. He showed Sev the holopic. "I need to know where she is and where a Jedi named Luke Skywalker is. Any information you can provide will be most useful."

Sev studied the image, downloading it to his databanks. His memory responded with a file, one gaurede with an intracate passcode. These people think they can keep me out? They might as well leave the door open. In 83.6 milliseconds he cracked the code and accessed it. "It seems that the Child you are searhing for is in the station at Byss. It's a high security prison nearly inpenatrable. As for The Jedi, He is not going to be easy to get to, but my estimation is that he is currently residing a Yavin 4, repairing their Temple caused by the damage of the Vong invasion. Which assignment would like me to take up?"

"First off get a personality. I was raised around clones and you remind me of one too much. Second you'll be traveling to Yavin. Disguise yourself as a Jedi hopeful and learn all you can. I need the exact coordinates of Skywalkers sleeping chambers, also a schedule of his habits. Don't fail me or Zargo won't be able to activate you." He scowled at the image in front of him before replacing his helmet. "I'll be in contact."

Sev took notes on the tasks.
1. Get a personality.
His programmers inputed the standard protocol program in his system, yet it doesn't seem to work. Sev deactivated the protocol systems and continued.
2. Travel to Yavin as a Jedi. Find out as much about Luke Skywalker as possible. Do not fail.
It might be best to travel as a Hopeful, for I cannot emit a Force signature. His access to the Imperial Network came in handy at times. It would be especially useful with its information about Jedi. He accessed the Old Republic files, sliced past the code, and found an image suitable for a Hopeful.
"Best of luck." Sev retransformed into a swirling grey mass again and took the form of a Shooting star. With a flash of light he rocketed off the asteroid on his way to Yavin 4, and the Jedi Temple. He estimated his arrival in 9.56 hours.

Lights. Sounds. Emotions. He walked like a Tiger; flowed through the crowds like an invisible wind, ruffling a few feathers here and there, but otherwise unnoticed. People saw him -- cared, or didn't. It was all nothing -- faces, voices -- all worthless in the void that had become his mind. He had a purpose. It wavered somewhere in that void, a spectral reminder of the hate that drove him relentlessly through the crowds, that spurred him to do what he knew he must. For his Daughter. For his peace of mind.
Another painful memory, another mistake, made all in the name of Hate. Another Life tossed aside for the Love of another. The two flowed together so well, Love and Hate, repelling forces that were somehow always found together. Strange, emotions.
He cradled the child gently in his arms, the tiny pale-fuzzed head resting in the crook of his elbow. He had named her Levana, after her mother. His eyes misted over as he thought of her, but he had no way to brush the tears that rolled down his cheeks away. He missed her terribly -- her soft smile, calm voice. She had been his everything. His shoulders shook with emotion, and the baby stirred in her sleep, her tiny fist wrapping around a crease in his jacket. The tiny eyelids fluttered and opened, and her blue eyes stared up at him in innocent wonder as he wept.
What am I doing, really? Chev pondered as he stared out at the infinite expanse beyond the nose of his fighter. Running. That's right, the Tiger has turned tail. But Running from what? He scrubbed his hand through his hair. "Love," he said out loud to himself. "Running from Love. Why not just settle? Find some place remote and just disappear?" Because I want to be free...
He shook his head absently as he sailed on through the pinpoints of light that was space.

As soon as they were in hyperspace, Kaden went back to his bunk and set a timer that would wake him up if the ship was under attack or came out of hyperspce. He then was out light a light and snores that sounded like a faulty speedbike engine could be heard from halfway across the ship.

Kaida had been nervous for the first few minutes of flight, as she had never been in space before. After she got used to the sensation, she dropped off, dreaming that the Force was whirling around her like a cyclone. Out of the cyclone stepped a man with long brown hair over his eyes. Kaida, as if watching herself, ran to him, but was swept off by the winds. Alarms screeching brought her awake and she found she was crying. Wiping the tears away, she could sense that the captain was still asleep. Getting up and sneaking to the bridge, she was greeted by dozens of flashing lights. Not knowing what to do, she weighed her options. If she woke Sobrenn up, he might get really mad, but if she didn't wake him up, and this was a serious problem, they could all sie, and it wouldn't matter if he got mad or not. After putting it that way it seemed like an obvious choice. Running in the direction her senses told her to go, she saw Sobrenn with his back to her. Putting her hands on his shoulders, she thought, This guy must do some weight-lifting!, and shook, softly at first, then harder and harder until he rolled over suddenly, which made her jump.

When Kaden felt something on his back he turned over to find a small girl with wide, black eyes staring at him like he might kill her as soon as look at her. It was then he noticed the alarms. "What in Kessel? Who are you?" When she didn't provide an answer he got out of his bunk and briskly walked out into the hall, almost tripping over what looked like a cat. Shaking his head his gave a exasperated sigh. He finally made it to the bridge and sat down, reading on the control panel that the hyperdrive was malfunctioning. I can still make it back to Corellia, he thought as he began fiddiling with the controls. The Rover groaned as she turned around and headed, as fast as he dared, for Corellia. He then saw that the girl had followed him, and was leaning in the doorway. Shaking his head again, he stayed seated so he wouldn't scare her. "Who are you? What are you doing on my ship." 'My ship' came out more sharply than he would have liked.

He didn't have to use the Force to see how scared she was, so he let his anger leave. "A stowaway, eh?" She nodded, and Kaden continued, "You know, Kaida, you could've asked..." but he trailed off when he realized that he probably would have said no. "Well, wherever you were planning on going, I'm afraid that you're going to have to wait, because we're heading back to Corellia."
