I have to ask questions, idiot.
"Kamino? Are they GFFA? I have so much trouble learning about these things, because no one will tell me what is going on!" Areli glanced at her rescuer...captor? to make sure he understood her oh-so-subtle message: information, NOW. I know the difference between a red trooper and a radtrooper, but I have no idea where we are going. It is because no one wants to discuss politics anymore.
"...your Dad's voice? That was him on the com."
Could this be true? "I do not know my father. I have never met him. You have?"

He groaned. "Yes I've met him. Once. He's quite concerned about you Areli." Boba swiveled his chair to face the girl. "What do you want to know? I'm not very good with kids so you'll have to excuse my manners." He gave a sarcastic smirk at the expression on her face.

Xyko's ship floated up from Korriban's atmosphere. She sighed, if Shayla was going to be this stormily silent all the way to Manaan, this was going to be a long trip.

Shayla did indeed have every intention of giving her master the silent treatment. Her last lesson had really hurt and she resented it.

Not really talking to anyone, Xyko muttered as she calculated the jump, "Going to hyperspace..." And suddenly they were, racing thorugh the stars. Xyko put the ship on automatic control and got up, staring hard at Shayla. "You should lose the toddler act, it doesn't become you."

Shayla, keeping uop the sullen 'toddler' act stuck her tongue out at Xyko and turned her head away from her.

((Little note, guys...try to keep RP posts up to three sentences, at least. If it's not in the rules, it should be. There are always special circumstances that require different styles, but you should never need to make a post of less than three sentences for normal RPing. When you post many short pieces, pages fill up quickly and it makes things harder on anyone trying to keep track of the thread. ~Joany~ ))

((Sorry)) Shayla kept her head turned away from her master for a long while. She thought of a hundered different things to say and do to Master Xyko, but knew none of them would work. Why couldn't her master have just let her pss the test? Shayla wanted to scream at her master and possibly break something, though she knew she would inevitably end up breaking one of her own things instead so she still remained silent and fumed.

"I know you're angry now, but someday you'll understand." Xyko went back to her seat. It was part of growing up. Without pain, you could never learn do deal with it. (( Since it would be a very long trip, let's fast forward a bit.))

Jinx lolled about in a dreamlike state, sheathed within a compartment even the ship's captain was likely unaware of. He'd allowed the nanomachines in his body to do their work, linking to the ship's mainframe and keeping his bio-functions at a nearly death like condition. Things were easier this way. No getting up for relief or scrounging for food. It never completely shut down the brain. The dreams…psychotic dreams where dirty motor oil flowed through your veins, walls shifted and schemed so one never knew quite knew where he was going while voices laugh at him from a distance, and polka music was inescapable.
Somewhere beyond the edge of his consciousness, Jinx became aware of the ship's computer picking an anomaly up on scanners. Imperials. Of all the vastness of space, it simply had to be the pinprick of vacuum he was passing through. Even if the thrice blasted sloth of a captain woke before they collided with a cruiser, there was no hope of avoiding detection. The freighter's sensors were dim next to military hardware.
***
It was a good forty minutes before the clanging of an Imperial boarding claw reverberated through the hull. Jinx allowed himself to regain consciousness, thus drowning out the subconscious connection the nanobots provided him. Before he woke, he had observed the captain seal himself in an airlock and flush himself into space. Whether by accident or out of fear of repercussions when some unsavory cargo was discovered, he'd never know, but the Imperials torched the hatches when they realized simply knocking would no longer do the trick.
A standard tactical sweep immediately followed, and the bureaucrats wasted no time in floating aboard to catalogue and file the salvaged ship and it's contents. Fortunately, Jinx's choice in out of the way places left him essentially catalogued with the ship.
He drifted back into suspended animation, and learned his new destination from the ship's computer: The nearby planet of Maanan.
*Edited to specify destination*
