Tactics Challenge!
Since we all love SD's and their explosions...
You're a Fleet captain (pick a side, either side), on your SD. THE LAST BIG SHIP YOU HAVE. The other side smashed your fleet to bits - and some of your ship too. The escape pod launchers are damaged. There's about 2 squads of your fighters desperately trying to survive out there. The enemy outnumbers you.
WHAT DO YOU DO? Suicide? Run? Pray? Well?

Call Warious to help?
Me: Use my powerful forbiden Sith techniques and blow my enemies to bits and resque me fighters and get back to base and start writing to the families of the deceased from my side.

the idea was you're just a mere mortal what tactics do you use. Not powers.

Who founded Rogue Squadron? *feels stupid* Is that a Vogon on Dragoness's avatar? I am feeling random...
Erm....I would be sure my best pilots were out there, but probably run and live to fight another day, if we were still getting creamed after the tactical assignations.

No..It's a goblin in Dragoness avvie...
Biggs Darklighter first founded Rogue Squadron if my Rebel history is correct...
[false superiority] But I'm a Sith! I have no use for mortal tactics! [/false superiority]

Before Yavin? *must reasearch*

Ummm... I think it was Luke. After Yavin. Before Hoth. *goes off to pester Luke*
It's my potatoe goon!!!! Not a goblin, not a Vogon (altho I can see how you thought that) ----A POTATOE GOON. ANd he's mine.
Ok, back to tactics - I was going from a mere mortal perspective because that's more challengeing and trying for our braaaaains.
Honestly, I'd either try to take as many of them with me or run.
Now, Opinions.
What type of ship do you hate and why?

Erm...to fly or to fight? I hate the Sun Crusher. Impossible to destroy. I also dislike Y-Wings; ugly and slow. I'd rather say what I would kill to get though. Infiltrator...mm...

I hate Y-wings. They are soo clunky and slow...slower then molsasses going uphill on a winter's day.

Either, just specify.
(Personally I hate X- tie Uglies (both) and anything too slow, too big, and unmanuverable. Impaired vision is a factor too *coughtiescough*)
Okay... Protons or Concussion Missles and why.

Aye, uglies are annoying...hhhhmmmm....you must tell me this; what is the technical difference?

From SW.com:
From Wikipedia (as SW.com lacked an entry):
Proton torpedos are more spectacular and work better when already inside something; concussion missiles are preferable for ripping apart hulls.
(considers)
Heck, with the probability in SW of winding up inside one's enemy's ship, I'd say protons.

Depends on the situation, really.
Next.
What do you consider harder : Flying uypside down in a teeny little hole that is slowly cgetting smaller, or flying down a wide open trench? of course, both are while you're getting shot at.
Personally, I;'d say the first option. What say you?

I say trench. You just need m4d Skyw4lk3r sk1llz...

First option, for me. A trench is a trench because one end is open, whether there be more gunners if you fly that way or not... (grins)

(coughs) Or Tiana.
Where'd the fly through hole thing come into play in Star Wars? I think I'd take the trench. It sounds safer.
EDIT: As for which is HARDER... do we REALLY need to answer that?

I think someone flew through a hole in RotS. At least in the Lego video game they do...*snrk* Who's Kell? Have I ranted about this before?
