Ditto, Hobbit Eyes. They should have done it like your avvie, except for the saber parts. Much more effeceint. (sp?) And entertaining.

Maul was one of the greatest Sith ever. Except for when he spoke. In fact, most of the prequel trilogy would have been better without dialogue. Maybe it should have been a mime. Heh... (shrugs) I don't know. Some of the lines were PAINFULLY cliché, but others rocked. It's all a matter of opinion... but it wouldn't've been the same without John Williams' music to sustain the feeling. The tacky lines never would've managed without cool music...

Maul was one of the greatest Sith ever. Except for when he spoke. His voice was cool. His lines were not. Amin mela the music too...*hums* but Jar Jar was the block that broke the bantha's back in terms of kiddishness and just plain bad acting/writing. All the prequels had good potential but bad...delivery. If they had made the Gungans something awesome like the Nautolans with the same story line, things would have been a lot different and mostly for the better.

Jar Jar was a catalyst, which is one of the reasons he is despised. But Palps would have gotten the government anyway. It just might have taken him a few more months. (grins)

Yeah...he is very good at conspiring, and technically it was destined; he would have gotten his way with or without Jar Jar. Padmé would have given the same speech I think, or Palp would arrange for someone that supported him to begin it all. Jar Jar is easy to manipulate...and he did have a motive. That's one of the thigns Lucas has in Jar Jar's character that I don't really mind; his political courage is rather usefull to the saga in general.

Jar Jar did have purpose, even if he was annoying, though.

With my Star Wars ep 3 soundtrack came this really awesome disk - the Star Wars saga told just through the music. They had all the main themes on there, with clips from the films to accompany them, kind of like a music video.
TIS AWESOME. Especially the Imperial March one. Lots of clips of Darth Vader being bad.

I have that, actually, I just haven't watched it yet, because I'm lazy and would rather be typing half the time... heh... (rolls eyes)
I wonder how Jar Jar died.

I have it too...it's alright. You gotta be in the mood for watching music videos. I wonder...maybe I should write that...snrk, no I got a lot of what-ifs on my mind. Or what-if this was written. Notice how Jar Jar got no lines in RotS.

He did, actually. Listen carefully when the senators start to move away after Palpatine is rescued by Anakin.
I had hoped he went to Alderaan with Bail and was blown up by the Death Star, but noooo, you see him on Naboo at Padme's funeral. And, Force forbid, on the special edition SW DVD of ROTJ, on the shot of Naboo partaying on down, there's a very familiar voice yelling "Wesa free!!"....

He is alarming. I wouldn't want to meet him on a dark night. He might clumsy me to death.

Imagine Jar Jar as a Sith. That'd be one Circle of an AU.

Warious, I wish to commend you on being so brave as to loudly proclaim your hugneedingness in your sig. I have done my duty? I hesitate to say I'd like to write what would happen if Jar Jar was found to be Force sensative. *slaps self* No time!!

Has anyone else seen the spoof 'Sith Apprentice'? It's a parody of that show 'The Apprentice', with Darth Sidious looking for a new apprentice, the contenders being Darth Vader, Count Dooku, Darth Maul, and, um, Jar-Jar...
