The Old Order is nice. Now it's confused the New Order--people assume they are a lot alike in a way. Or maybe that's just me. *sigh* I like the rebellion because that started everything. Or right after, to during the founding of the praxeum, because Luke is awesome then. The war is good in OT, and obviously good vs. evil. And not many people write it.

I love the OT in the way that it brings out the best and the worst in people, and yet I love how the Old Republic was...I wouldn't go for the political corruption and all that, definitely, but there was a sort of stately dignity and grace to things back in that time, especially in the Order. Even if they didn't always manage to follow their ideals (mostly at the end), there was the kind of focus of a civilisation founded on compassion in the Order. Mission Central. It appeals to me very much.
