My GMT is -2, I do believe... I also think that Eowyn is one hour ahead of me...

GMT is in England, so that means you live in the Atlantic ocean. Somehow, I don't think that's right. I'm on GMT +1.

Okay, we will attempt to get online at 2:10ish MY time on Thursday or Friday, and then carry on til Saturday at similar times. Now, it is 6:00 here at the time of this post. FIGURE IT OUT. Post what time it is at the time of your post in your time zone, and we can figure it out. Not really that hard, you know...

At the time of this post, it's 9:50 pm here. Yeah.
2:10 your time? That could very well work for me, as I can get home by that time...spare, you see. Heh.
Okay, everyone...the time displayed on this board is North American Pacific time. As in B.C. time for Vanacoriel and some others, or Oregon time...heh. Yes indeed.

Uhh... that's kind of the only reason I went for that time, you know... I would rather be on after my school is completely done, myself...
But I'm familiar with your time, Master, and Vana's and Snakelady's. You're an hour later, and they are an hour earlier. It's the other people I'm really, really worried about.
I have to set my profile cloak to display the right time for me. *squints* Why I set it to be... 4 hours early... is beyond me. Sadly, I can't set the forum clock. Mutter.

I'm 8 hours ahead of Eowyn, so 2:10 your time is okay.

Is this where we post ideas? Well, I have an idea .... Since Halloween is at the end of the month, why don't you have a Halloween Story Contest? I always tend to write a few scary stories for Halloween and I thought some of you guys might want to try that, too. Fanfic stories, I mean. Stories dont HAVE to be scary. I mean, I've written funny vampire stories. Just involve Halloween-type stuff. Like vampires, werewolves, ghosts, haunted houses, etc. The list of such stuff can be quite long! And it's fun putting the characters into those type of situations. Here are a few questions to get started: Did Obi ever take Ani trick-or-treating? What scares old Palpy? What would 3PO do in a haunted house? I'm sure you can think of more ideas! I have a Luke / Vader Halloween story to write. Oh, and its easy to make stories scary while they remain PG. Just use lots of athmosphere!

Good idea! Maybe you and/or someone else should post a challenge. Somewhere. Um...heh. (shrugs) I'm sure we'll find a spot for it. To mention it here as well, I've got a sizeable chat room on my site: CLICKY!!

Jandalf, your link is not working because there is a square bracket in the link next to the http:// stuff.
The fanfiction area works nicely for challenges, by the way. No one ever reads in this board. And I think Jandalf okayed the idea with her post, and, since she's G-Mod, her word is almost as good as the admins. Which I am not, if you didn't notice. But I think Eowyn would be okay with a challenge... but she'd probably prefer that it wasn't a Halloween contest. She hates that holiday very sincerely. It could be for this time of the year, though... although a Star Wars Halloween competition would be... funny, I think. As long as there was no... evil side of it. Just PG rated fun. I'll say okay, thus you have a G-Mod's word, and a mod's okay on it.

Thanks Jandalf and Shadow! And see, I remembered its an A in Jandalf. OK, I'll go set one up in the fanfiction area. I like the idea of holding contests (not to mention designing prizes on my computer) ... I used to make prizes to give out on my old website "Ares and Gabrielle's Dragon Lair" but I never really had all that many visitors there. And I kind of figured that since Eowyn doesnt like HP that she probably doesnt like Halloween ... but it is a good time of the year for stories. And ALL of my fanfics are rated PG. So I'll go post the contest. ~ Smenzer

Heh. (rolls eyes)
Ummmm...my story will be late. So that's okay if it isn't counted in as a contest entry.

Hello, Darth Jaden! In order for you to place any sort of graphic or whatever in your signature, you have to visit your profile editor. It'll indicate which of the text boxes belong to your siggy. To insert an image, you need the URL of said image, and then it's as simple as this: www.stuff.com/some_nonexistant_image.jpg [/img] Those square bracket tags will do the work for you—just put them in without the spaces I used. And, for the moderating issue—it's my personal opinion that we do have a lot of mods already, in which case it would be good for you to get a little more experience on this board before applying again. PM me when you think you're ready, and I'll send you the application form. (winks) Don't worry, it's quite painless. Mwahaha...

You also only have 22 posts, and haven't been around that long. I only accept new mods when I need them-- or when they've been around long enough I know they won't leave on me.
By the way, you don't have an image link. You're linking to a site. *sighs, and rolls eyes*
Are you from Arwen Evenstar's site? Are you her, or her brother, or something? *curious*
Okay, regarding coding, since my dear Master's didn't work, to link to an image with a linky thing to make it work so you can click the image to get to a site:

To just do an image in your signature:

You can request signatures in the signature art thread. I'm a bit behind though, so it'll probably be a while til I get to you.
I've changed my mod ruling since way back when. You need to have over 100 posts-- at least-- and they should be more real posts. Just so that I know you won't leave on me. I had a few mods who did that.

No I'm not her or her brother. I am on another site of hers though. I know you know Elemmire and she is on the other site that I'm on.
