Allow me to sum it up. It is not allowed. After having a few too many issues with one word posts, I'm actually going to be an admin and see if anyone notices (or else I'll get Jandalf to repeat this since everyone listens to her).
One word posts are not allowed.
This includes posts made up solely of smilies, solely of a quote of someone else's post (even if you're agreeing), and posts proclaiming "YAY!" or "MWHAHAHA!". Or something of the like.
Exceptions to the rule?
-The games board. There are a couple games requiring one word replies. (The Name Game...) This is the only exception to the rule. The threads on there for post hiking (Randomness, Battle for the Last Post) are considered as normal threads and may not receive one word posts.
General discussion topics should at least merit a sentence long post. One word is merely spam. Try to make some effort. As humourous as it is, sticking in the bottom of your post "This is not a one word post" is not really a legit manner of changing this fact. If you must post "Mwhahaha!" at least add in brackets beside it (will take over universe). Or something of the like.
Thank you, that is all.
-Tiana

*blush* Uh...guilty in randomness threads, I am... HOWEVER, is there an RP post length rule? I thought I remembered that it was generally a minimum of three sentences for an RP post, but others haven't had the same idea...

At least a paragraph? Though I've not done that much a few times...

Yes, I think it was at least a paragraph, a paragraph being defined as at least two or three sentences.

I thought I had that as a rule, but it doesn't seem to be listed in the RP rules, if someone would like to edit the 3 sentence rule back in... I was sure it was somewhere. Because I remember setting it.

Ah, no one word posting. Gotcha. Not that I think I'll be a problem because one word post are virtually near impossible for me. I've tried and failed and thus tried again...and failed...
What about two word posting? Hehe^.^
I hate when I know I posted something and then it disappears. Then I begin to get paranoid that someone deleted it...and then I find it and I realize the paranoia was all for nothing.

Aww, poor Silver. Yes, parania could be a bad thing. heh.. Yes, I will keep in mind not to post only one word.. I have a habit of sometimes doing that. I think it is sometimes hard to post only one word.. Maybe I am just crazy.. I need to go ponder that thought..

Two word posting isn't LIKED, but it's allowed. Snrk. I know, sometimes it seems too easy to one word post, but normally it should be impossible if you have any saneish reason to reply to a topic!

Right, so if you don't have anything more to say than one word in reply to a topic, you shouldn't bother posting at all... Right, Master?

I personally don't see any way someone could have less than two words to say about anything... though I nearly did it a couple times myself, and have, on editing posts, edited it to "edited". (shrugs)
So, basically, if you only have one word about the topic, you don't really care about it, or you can add an adjective.
You know. If you want to agree go "ditto. *nods wisely*". Or "*shrieks* YES!!!!". Or if you're just posting to cackle, do "cackles insanely" instead, or something... it's not that hard to bump it to two words...

Heh heh...
I personally couldn't imagine not having more than two words to say in reply to a topic, let alone just one... In fact, I had planned on this being just a two word post, but it didn't work out that way... I just had to say something else...

(coughs)
They're both aliases in the "obscure member most likely to make five posts" poll, Padawan dearest...
So, yes, I'd say it was a joke. Or else, aliases or not, they're going to BURN.
