Heh. FYI, Empress Kira, "snrk" is a sound we sometimes use that's somewhere in between a snicker and/or a snort and/or a laugh, sometimes applied in an ironic situation, or sometimes just because we feel like it. It might take stumbling across it a few times to get the feel of its connotation, but yeah. For example, Dûncariel could affix it to the bit she has in her signature, and it would go like this:
As a derisive example, anyway. (grins) Yup. Snrk.

All right. That is so totally NOT FAIR!!!! *hyperventilates* I have taken a CS Lewis class, but that was all that my school has to offer. Once I get to college, however, that should change... Yeah for Lit courses! I'll check out your site, but I don't know if I'll be there much... too many sites... trying to build an RP site of my own (which, if any of you would like to help me build it, that would be super cool), and I'm still in school. And this summer is way busier than I'd originally thought it would be. And I'm finally writing my book.... bleah. Whoah... you read the registery? *is mightily impressed* Wow... Well, what can i say about the registery...idk. Yeah, i am homeschooled, so my 'school' offered the Lit. Group. Me and a friend intend to read the Silmarillion over the summer...cuz the study guide we're using doesn't have one on the Silmarillion...

(gasp) But the Silmarillion is an AMAZING book! Everyone should read it!! Heh...I've heard it's a slower read for those who are unaccustomed to reading through the style, but it's got some incredible stuff in there. It's got the potential to be quite moving, really, if you let yourself get into it. Yes...there was a shedding of a tear here and there...for the fall of Númenor and Béren and Lúthien's story, to be specific. (grins)

Hai to all I've missed! Vacation in the GFFA can mess with your personal timeline awful... I actually kinda liked Kira's signatures. They were amusing. But ok...I defer. He doesn't look fierce at all. Too cute and anime-y. I seem to have caught the rambling bug. I am reading the Sill now...it shows Tolkien's obsession/love for his work. I am more of a SW person though. Maybe wasn't once, but that world clicks with me for some reason. I could live there. So Elphaba, you are a Wicked fan, yes? I've never seen the musical, though For Good is a cool song, and my chorus class did it for this concert. I began the book and disliked it because it totally messed up Baum's version of Oz.

Oz creeps me out... yech. I've had munchkin nightmares ever since I saw that movie... and read the book.
The Silm is the most beautiful book ever written. So epic... *sigh* That's pretty much all I can say without launching into a speech. So I'll shut up.

Thanks Jandalf for the heads up...snrk. Ok guys...er girls as most of you are...i am done with my speech making and quoting. (i can't help this, i'll only do it ONE last time *sniffles*) Her Extremeness, the Wise yet Diligently Distracted, Empress Kira of Lorien

GASPETH! Catholic AND Homeschooled?! Another thing we have in common, Kira.
An idea: how bout doing something similar to this in your signiture:
MFB--The Ten Fingired, Bearer of Random Weapons, Weilder of the *shift*1, etc.
Except use your name and make up random things for yourself. I've done so before over at the ESPS.

GASPETH! Catholic AND Homeschooled?! Another thing we have in common, Kira. *smiles bashfully* sry if this seems too abrupt or open, but that is great! I love you! How long have you been homeschooled? This is my fourth year. Except use your name and make up random things for yourself. I've done so before over at the ESPS. sry, but what is ESPS??!! oh, and STAY ON!!

LOL! No, I think I understand. I've been homeschooled for a LOOOONG time. 10 years now. Since 2nd grade. This may be my last year being homeschooled. My mom was just talking to me today about finishing up 11th grade and skipping 12th. Which grade are you in? The ESPS is another forum like this one. But it's...different, in some ways. Cy and THE made it. I help run it...slightly. espsbase.proboards39.comI spend most my time there. But I've been here a lot lately. Very homey it is.

My mom was just talking to me today about finishing up 11th grade and skipping 12th. Which grade are you in? That is a long time...you must enjoy it.... but i hope you don't mind if i try to let you guess what grade i am in before i tell you. Plus i might have to tell you in a PM...so yeah. Guess. I help run it...slightly. I spend most my time there. But I've been here a lot lately. Very homey it is. SO are you a mod. there? it sounds cool. But i have way too little time to join other sites. I am already a member of two...this one is more busy than the other...o' course, that one only has like 8 members and only five of us actually reply. I am glad you think this place is homey. Say, i was thinking of putting up a Catholic thread in the Christian discussion topic, for anyone who wants to talk about our faith, or debate it, or learn more about it. Cuz (not to brag) I know more about my faith than the average Catholic does. (maybe even more than my mom and dad...idk.) SO, tell me what you think....or just reply to it....hehe. Also, i just exalted you. Thanks for being so cool. *sry, but i just have to say it again....i love you, man!* Faramir: great. she's gonna start bawling now. Kira:NO I WON'T!*swallows the lump in her throat* Faramir:*rolls eyes* ah, well, you get used to her. She's rather quick to become friends. SOmetimes i can't tell if that's a weakness or a strength. MOstly a weakness i think. Kira:oh leave me alone. Faramir:fine.

LOL! This is really kinda creepy. See when I saw Kira's avatar it is like one MFB used to have, and I thought she was him...major bad feeling about this! But...in...a...good way.
Wow, that was an odd statement.

Hmmm...guessing. It may take awhile. But I'd guess you're in high school, unless you're a good linguist in Junior High, unlikely however it is. The sad part: the average Catholic knows almost nothing about their faith. But in my..."experience," most Homeschooled Catholics know a lot about their faith. So I kinda assumed that you knew a lot already. *is despairately looking for smileys to use around here**goes off to photobucket**returns with smileys* Thanks for the exalt! I exalted you twice already. I love this karma feature. *goes off on another exalting spree*

*sighs* Sorry, Kira, but as admin... well... the signing can get to be a bit annoying, and it fits better in a signature. *Shrugs* It looks fine there.
*folds arms* I've been homeschooled since day one. So there. *grins* And there IS a homeschooled thread in the Random Thread. Just the homeschooled kids sort of stopped posting, so making a board for homeschoolers is a bit useless... perhaps I'll make a sub board though... one of these years... so much to do... *head blows up*
Anyway. At the moment I'm fighting to get into the Silmarillion, but it's hard. I like myths, but it is a bit overwhelmingish... not that I don't like long books. Anyway. Yeah. Besides, I have a million other books to read... Terry Pratchett's the Carpet People at the moment...

*twiddles fingers*
I homeschooled in first grade. That's the only reason I'm not going to be thirteen years at my school. *mumbles* Only because I skipped first grade....
Whoah! *points at signature* I so totally thought of that first!

W00t! Terry Pratchett!! (grins)
I must say...I have never been homeschooled one single day of my life, and I often wish I had been, but circumstance prevented that, by and large. Rather unfortunate. It's always been public schooling...which of course has its advantages, too. But I still wish I was homeschooled. Heh.
