*sniff* The ever-present question...did it HAVE to happen? Well, vote and post your opinion! If you don't know who Doc is, never mind!

And...I'm the first to post! OK, so I did feel sorry for a guy with eight limbs! Hey, it was sad that he had to die right after he realized the truth! What can I say, I have a soft spot for bad guys possessing a sad backstory! I hold nothing, however, for Norman!

A moment of silence for Doc Ock. *wears black*

I really liked Doc Ock! It wasn't really HIS fault he was trying to kill Spiderman. The arms had control over his brain, and in the end he proved that he truly was good. Kind of like Darth Vader, if you really think about it... Norman deserved it, though! Anyone who willfully wants to kill Spiderman deserves it. Spiderman is AWESOME!!! *hops off to watch movie*...
I would wear black, but it wouldn't really symbolize anything special because I always wear black... *looks down at black shirt*

I couldn't vote.... you didn't have an 'Yes because he's the all time coolest Spiderman villain in the history of Spiderman villains'.
*glances down at black sweatshirt, sweatpants, arm band....oh yeah, and socks*

Doc Ock was one of the coolest comic book film villains EVER.
And just so you know, apparently, he might not be dead... Alfred Molina said in an interview that the director has asked him, "Would consider being in another Spiderman film?" And he replied, "What??? Ock's dead, right?" "Well," said the director, "He disappeared... but that means nothing in comic books..."

Dun, I think your vote would go under option number one... I think he would've been a great big help to Spidey, don't you guys think? he IS one of the greatest villians ever...next to maybe Gollum... Wow, I really didn't expect this great of a response! Maybe I'll have to do another Sympathy poll... For anyone's information, Spidey 2 made me cry.

Did you say Gollum? Gollum!!! *grabs Gollum and hugs him* Gollum: Gack! notbreathinghelp
Yay, a fellow Gollum fan!
Anyways, back on topic... Once Ock started helping Spider-man with the fission orb thing, I started hoping that he (Ock) would live. But then Spider-man didn't go back to help Ock! (Or maybe he thought of it... But it was too late. Hmm, I dunno. I can't seem to remember what happed there. Ack! My memory is clouded! *smacks head*) *reads previous paragraph that I just wrote* Okay, that didn't make much sense... Oh, well. I picked choice #1 by the way...

No, I'm not really a Gollum fan, I just think Sméagol is sad... And I take it back...Ock was a better villian...maybe
Adrienne, Peter couldn't have helped Ock, he was holding that wall up so it wouldn't kill MJ, remember now? I'm sure he would've saved him if he could have, but his hands were kinda tied...
We seem to have the (almost) unanimous vote...Ock would've been a grat help to Spidey. What we do have the unanimous vote on is: Doc Ock is the best villian in all of Spidey history!

Yah, I guess Peter couldn't really do anything (contemplating what it would be like to be a 2D object probably takes up most of one's thoughts...), but I think that maybe they (the movie peoples) should have shown him struggling with the fact that Ock had just colapsed a building on himself. Oh well, maybe they just ran out of time or something because the movie was already like 2 hours long... Ooo! long sentence...
Mwa ha ha ha! *hugs Gollum* ... Erm, yeah...

HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT?! ARE YOU BASING YOUR OPINION ON THE COMICS OR THE MOVIE?! 'Cause I read one of the Ultimate Spider-man comics, and gosh does Ock really... I mean, if I had read the comic before I had seen the movie, instead of the other way around, I don't think I would've liked him.... He's the best!

*gasp* WHAT!? You based that on the MOVIE?! How could you!?
Master, you saw the end? What, when he drownded? Well, I like the end of the second one better than the first one... too bad Doc had to die... you saw that bit, right?!

I'm not a fan, I think it served him right... but since I haven't seen the movie... heh.
...and yes, I seen the end where he drowns. And the whole unmasked thing.
Reminded me a lot of some LotG scenes with that...
...or am I getting confused again. My brother watchs too many movies...
...agh.
