Narnia rocked.
I'll edit this later to include more juicy details... *evil grin*

First thing I'm doing when I get back from Rome - GOING TO THE CINEMA AND SEEING KING KONG AND NARNIA.
I might ask my dad to drop me off on the way back from the airport.

I saw King Kong the other day. I don't know why, but I didn't really like it! Maybe it was the Satanic village people... Anyway, I would have rather seen Narnia.

I thought Narnia was pretty good, but could've been better. Peter either seemed to be staring off into the distance heroically or yelling at Edmund. And they should have had Weta do the special effects, not ILM. ILM aren't as good as Weta.

I thought the animals in Narnia were pretty good. Very realistic, but then again I know nothing about graphics.
...And the soundtrack rocked. In fact, that's what I'm listening to now.

I STILL haven't seen Narnia. My friends and I wanted to go see a movie on Saturday, but they had already seen it. But then one friend's clutch went out and I found out I had to go home to let my dad change the oil in the Jeep, so we didn't end up going anywhere...

The animals were good - they obviously spent most of the time on money on them, because the movie hinged on whether they were believable. But some other things just weren't up to the same standard. And they all had a slight fuzzy quality - not the same level of realism as Weta manages.

Yes...agreement on that. It was pretty obvious what had been CGed and what was live. Thank goodness the movie still had a tragic ending, or I would have wanted my money back.

...Wait. Were they talking about Narnia? I was talking about King Kong. Snrk. Oops. But my opinion on the CG work is the same for both.

You couldn't have put more blood in Narnia, Ali.... seriously. It was geared for families. Graphics of Aslan eating the Witch's face off would be a little.... R-rated. Plus, I really hate it when things eat people's faces...

Well, good news for you, Dûn...the lady in France that got the lower part of her face chewed off by a dog got a transplant, and as soon as she finishes regaining motor control she's pretty much as good as new. A good job the surgeons did, too.

Hee hee... Corpse Bride was hysterical. "I've got a..... a..... dwarf! And I'm not afraid to use it!" Victor's so cute.... *dies* Plus, stop motion animation is simply incredible. I do puppetry, and I can't even imagine doing it how they do... wow.
Serenity's been out in America... I rented it something like a month ago..... *puzzled*

Hee... Pride and Predjudice cracks me up.... Darcy is much better in this than the eight hour one. More... shy, than arrogant. It made me laugh.
